So, today I prayed for guidance, Jesus - and I think I got it. And here comes the anxiety and the fears. Did I spend too much money on the vacation, was this Your will, did I lose sight of Your signs, I am overwhelmed - it is all too much, Jesus. What do I do, Jesus? Did I mess up, Jesus? I am so scared og flying, Jesus - especially with my daughter. I am so scared of anything bad happening, Jesus. Og my economy and my bad sense of money, Jesus. All these train-rides and border control, and while I am sick and exhausted, Jesus. Why did I do all this, for all those money - is it really Your will? Or did I just hurry? Jesus, please help me know what to do - to find Your peace again, Jesus. Please show me it will be okay, Jesus. I release and reject all that is not from You, and I receive and accept all that is from You, Jesus ❤️ Please, if this trip is not aligned to Your will, just help me by stopping it and helping me get back my money, Jesus. If it is better for my daughter this trip does not take place, stop the trip for me, Jesus. But if this is all my anxiety and evil not wanting me to have joy and getting out in the world, please stay with us all the way and make it exceptional - and bless us so that money is abundant and we get to have money returned mangfold, Jesus. We hear your cry, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s peace and wisdom in this moment of anxiety. Your heart is clearly longing to align with God’s will, and that is a beautiful thing, even in the midst of fear and uncertainty. Let us first remind you that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this struggle, and your honesty before God is a sign of your trust in Him.

The anxiety you feel about finances, the trip, and your daughter’s safety is understandable, but we must gently rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to paralyze you. Scripture tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). Fear is not from God, and it can distort our perception of His will. Instead of allowing fear to dictate your decisions, we encourage you to surrender this trip, and all your concerns, to the Lord in prayer, trusting that He is sovereign over every detail.

Regarding your finances, we must also speak truth: God calls us to be good stewards of what He has entrusted to us. "The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender" (Proverbs 22:7). If this trip has caused financial strain that violates biblical principles of stewardship, we must ask the Lord to reveal whether this was a wise decision. However, if the Lord has provided for this trip and it aligns with His purposes for rest, family bonding, or ministry, then we can trust Him to sustain you. The key is seeking His wisdom, not our own desires.

You asked if this trip is God’s will. Let us remind you that God’s will is not always revealed in dramatic signs but often in peace and wisdom. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5). Have you sought counsel from mature believers? Have you prayed for confirmation in Scripture? The Lord may be using this trip to teach you trust, or He may be redirecting you, either way, His plans are for your good (Jeremiah 29:11).

We also want to address your fear of flying and the safety of your daughter. The Lord is your protector, and no harm can come to you or your child outside of His sovereign will. "He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber" (Psalm 121:3). If this trip is not God’s will, He can stop it in ways only He can orchestrate, cancelled flights, closed borders, or other divine interventions. But if it is His will, He will go before you and guard your steps.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is wrestling with fear, doubt, and financial concern. Lord, You see their heart, their desire to honor You, their love for their daughter, and their struggle with anxiety. We ask You to calm their spirit and replace fear with Your perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3). Father, if this trip is not Your will, we ask You to intervene, close doors, provide refunds, and redirect their steps. If it is Your will, we ask You to go before them, protect them, and provide abundantly for every need. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and declare that You have not given them a spirit of timidity but of power, love, and a sound mind. Help them to trust in Your provision, Your protection, and Your perfect plan. May they find rest in You, knowing that You are in control. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, meditating on Scriptures about trust and provision (Matthew 6:25-34, Philippians 4:19). Seek wise counsel from fellow believers, and consider fasting if you need clarity. The Lord is faithful, and He will guide your steps if you seek Him with all your heart. You are not lost, you are being refined, and God is with you.

We hear the fear in your words, the racing thoughts, the second-guessing, the way anxiety can turn even a hoped-for vacation into a heavy weight. You’re not alone in this, and you haven’t messed up by asking God to lead you. That’s exactly where He wants us: bringing our tangled fears to Him out loud, just as you did.

When we’re anxious, it’s natural to long for a clear, dramatic signal, a sign that stops us or pushes us forward. But more often, God’s guidance unfolds not in a thunderclap but in the quiet, daily steps of trust. There’s nothing flashy about putting one foot in front of the other, but that’s how we walk with Him. You’ve already taken a faithful step by surrendering the trip to Jesus and inviting His will. Now, as you go, you can keep trusting Him in the ordinary minutes, including the ones on a plane.

A simple, practical anchor might help when the fear spikes: every time your heart starts to race, take a slow breath, look at your daughter, and whisper in your mind, “Jesus, I trust You with her and with me.” It won’t erase every worry instantly, but it can gently recenter you on His nearness, right in the middle of the cabin noise and your own exhaustion.

We’re praying with you now.

Jesus, thank You for holding this mom and her daughter close. You know the weight of her fatigue, her financial concerns, and the dread of flying. Calm the storm in her mind and give her the peace You promise, a peace that doesn’t depend on circumstances. Watch over their travels, guard their safety, and supply what they need. If this trip is not for their good, we trust You to redirect it in a way she can receive. But if it is, may they sense Your presence at every turn and even find joy in the journey. In Your name, amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The cry of a troubled heart never rises to heaven in vain, for Jesus hears the faintest whisper of His child. You say you are lost again, yet see how you cling to Him in prayer, that is not the mark of one abandoned, but of one held fast. Why this agitation? You have asked for guidance, but now you tremble at every inward whisper, mistaking your fears for the voice of God. Does the Lord speak peace to His people and then torment them with dread? No; you are letting anxiety drown out the still, small voice of faith. God’s will is not a tightrope stretched over a chasm, where one misstep hurls you into destruction. It is a broad place of trusting obedience. His sovereignty is the axle of the universe, and not a hair of your head falls without His ordaining. You are not saved against your will, nor guided without your participation, but the Spirit works in you to will and to do, giving you peace as you believe.

The peace you crave will never come by demanding signs or bargains. “If this trip is Your will, stop it; if not, bless it”, this is to treat the Almighty as a fortune-teller rather than a Father. The revealed will of God is that you trust Him, walk uprightly, and love His law. Has He not said, “No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly”? Your feverish calculation of money and danger forgets that He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. Fear of flying, fear for your daughter, fear of borders, these are the surging sorrows that faith is meant to subdue. In Jesus’ keeping we are safe, and they. Perfect peace is the portion of the mind stayed on Him, not the one that wrestles with every “what if.” You are a pupil in the school of grace, and this present turmoil is a lesson in casting your care upon Him.

Do not despise the simple remedy: believe. Faith brings the state of peace, and then the sense of it. When you doubt and question, you lose your peace; when you trust, it returns like a tide. You prayed for guidance, and have you not a prevailing sense to proceed? Then go forward, not in brazen presumption, but in childlike reliance. If the path should prove rough, His grace will be sufficient. If it should be blocked, His mercy will be seen in the stopping. Acquiesce in His will, and the fangs of anxiety are drawn. Your economy, He knows your frame and will supply your need. Your daughter, she is His lamb, borne in His bosom. Your exhaustion, He gives power to the faint. I charge you, let not unbelief ask, “Has God forgotten to be gracious?” The lovingkindness of the Lord never ceases. Rise from your knees, go in peace, and sing in the night, for He has thoughts of peace toward you, to give you an expected end.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have prayed, and now the very peace you sought is driven away by a swarm of anxieties. This is the way of it. The soul, straining toward God, is immediately met by a counter-force that seeks to overthrow it with fear. But look closely at your own words. You ask for guidance, yet you are consumed with the question, "Did I mess up?" This is no longer the voice of seeking; it is the voice of a sick and trembling soul. The thing itself, this journey you have planned, is not in its essence evil. It is your intention and your fear that are making you unclean within. Why do you make such a scrupulous enquiry into every detail, as if you could pry into the hidden will of God through the lock of your anxieties? This is not the question of faith, but the question of cowardice. The one who makes endless enquiry does so as being in dread, but the one who acts and then, on hearing a clear command, abstains, does so out of contempt for the wrong path. You have not heard a clear command to stop, only the roaring of your own tempestuous thoughts.

You are terrified for your body and for your daughter’s body, and this fear has made a shipwreck of your mind. You dread the flying, the trains, the borderguards, and being sick. But what does our Master say? Fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. You are clinging so tightly to this earthly life that you are living a perpetual death. Is this to be called life? No, a horrid death, a life of trembling and pale suspicion! You seek a sign that it will be okay, a guarantee against every possible earthly peril. But where is the faith in Him who holds your very soul? The life of the wicked is full of this dread, but the one who is conscious of no deliberate evil and who strives to bear good fruit, that soul can rejoice even here. This anxiety is the true mischief of your soul, greater by far than any pleasure or benefit you might wring from this journey or from the money you spent.

You offer a prayer of release, which is good, but then you lay a fleece before God, demanding He stop the trip if it is not His will in the very way your fear dictates. You are dictating terms to the Almighty out of your panic. The deeper sickness is not the condition of your wallet, but the condition of your heart. All this gilded worry about money being returned "mangfold" is a chain you have fastened upon yourself. Where is the love that casts out fear? You are frantic for a specific, comfortable outcome, either a perfect, blessed trip or a full refund. But where is the simple, loving fear of God, which alone can free you from this tyranny of lesser fears? Do not look to the flight or the bank account for peace. Look to the state of your soul. The journey, whether it proceeds or not, is a shadow. The substance is whether you will stand still and command this storm within you to be silent. The peace you seek is not a sign in the world; it is a fruit of the Spirit that must be cultivated in the silence of a trusting heart, not in the noisy marketplace of your fears.
