We hear your cry and we join with you before our Heavenly Father in Jesus' name, thanking Him that you are still here after that terrifying night. We thank Him that your sister was there and that you were able to breathe again, and we praise Him for saving you. The Lord knows your heart even when words fail and your mind goes blank, and He understands you perfectly when others misunderstand you.

The Lord is your light when you feel surrounded by endless attacks. Psalm 27:1 says Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear. Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid. When you feel overwhelmed and cannot take it anymore, He invites you to come to Him for rest. Matthew 11:28 says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. We understand your deep tiredness, mentally and physically, after fifty two years of fighting to eat, to breathe, to be believed, and your longing for a very long vacation just to recover is not weakness, it is a need for the rest only God can give. Psalm 61:2 says When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

We lift up your many burdens together. We pray for your health, for the damage done after thyroid cancer, for the strain on your heart from being overmedicated and then under cared for, for your right eye, for your TSH levels, for the acid reflux and breathing, for the traumatic brain injury and the brain fog that makes processing and communicating so difficult, and for the extreme food allergies you have battled since birth. We pray for healing and for clarity of mind. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Isaiah 40:29 says He gives power to the faint. To him who has no might he increases strength. And when your mind jumps and you cannot find words, remember Romans 8:26 says In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. Your simple cry of Father was heard in heaven.

We also pray for your practical needs. We pray for provision while you are homeless sleeping on your sister's couch and feeling pressured to leave with no health to work and no income. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We pray for your daily provision, for shelter, for food you can safely eat, and for transportation now that the medical place no longer provides the Uber and you must walk to the bus. Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We pray for favor as you appeal the SSA denial again, and for wisdom as you prepare the documents you spent months making regarding the hospital. It is not revenge to seek truth and accountability and to prevent others from being harmed. Romans 12:19 says Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me. I will repay, says the Lord. We pray God will give you peace about your motives and guide you with justice and mercy, and that He will be your advocate when you have been gaslighted for twenty three years and not believed.

We are grateful you have a primary care provider who takes you seriously now, and we pray God will continue to provide doctors who listen and help. We pray against discouragement from being treated as if you are in perfect health when you are not. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 121:2 says My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth. Lamentations 3:22-23 says It is because of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness.

We pray now together.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift up this dear one to You. You know every detail, every attack, every sleepless night until 4am, every struggle to breathe and to be understood. You know the trauma to the brain and the fog that makes sentences so hard, and You know the heart that wants to express itself clearly. We thank You for sparing this life last night and for restoring sight to the right eye. We ask for Your light to break through the darkness and for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus according to Philippians 4:7. Lord, touch the body and bring healing where damage has been done, calm the acid reflux, strengthen the heart, steady the breathing, and clear the mind. Provide a safe place to live, daily bread that does not cause harm, reliable transportation to medical care, and provision for every need. Give favor in the SSA appeal and wisdom in addressing the hospital, and let Your justice and mercy prevail. Grant the deep rest and long recovery that is so desperately needed, and remind this heart that You have never left and never gaslighted, that You believe and You care. Show Your will clearly even when thoughts scatter, and let Your strength be made perfect in weakness as You promise in 2 Corinthians 12:9. We trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You according to Romans 8:28, even when we cannot see it. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We were so moved by your honest prayer, and we thank you for trusting us with it. ### years of fighting to eat safely, then two rare thyroid cancers and the long aftermath on your heart and your eye, now sleeping on your sister's couch, the walk of almost a mile to the bus now that the rides ended, and the SSA denial on the same day as that frightening reflux episode when you struggled to breathe until early morning. It makes sense you feel worn down in body and mind and that your thoughts feel scattered and hard to put into sentences.

We also hear how much effort it took to write this with brain injury and fog, and how hard you have worked on the documents for your appeal. We are grateful your sister was there that night and that your PCP takes you seriously now. That kind of support matters when you have felt dismissed for so long.

When you are able, it would be good to let your PCP know soon about that night you could not breathe and had to stay awake until you could burp and breathe more normally, so they can check on you and guide next care. We pray alongside medical help, not instead of it. It may also help to ask the clinic if they have a case manager or social worker who knows about medical transportation options, bus passes or community rides now that the Uber help ended. For the SSA appeal, a local legal aid or disability advocate can often help carry the paperwork burden so you do not have to do it alone.

Father, we lift our brother to You. You know his heart when words are hard to find and You saw him that night struggling for air. Thank You for sparing him. Give him rest, steadier breath, clarity in the fog, and dignity and safety where he is staying. Bring wise and kind people around him for the medical and appeal steps ahead, and light for today and strength for the next step. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry before the Lord has been heard, and I have read every word you poured out with such honest pain. You have carried a heavy burden for many years, and the Lord knows the weight of it even when words fail and the mind goes blank and sentences will not come as you wish. He hears the sigh that has no words, and the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

I thank God with you that He preserved your life that night when you could not breathe and water would not help, and He used your sister's hand to deliver you. That you were kept through that terror until you could breathe again and rest is His mercy. We do not take such deliverances lightly. The Lord who has kept you through fifty two years of fighting to eat, through the hidden cancers that others would not believe, through the overdose and the loss and return of sight, through the injury to your brain and the fog that now clouds your thoughts, is the same Lord who says, They shall not depart from me. If His grace has truly begun a work in you, He will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. This is the comfort of the final perseverance of the saints, not that we hold on in our own strength, for you confess you have no strength left, but that He holds us fast and will not let us perish.

You speak of being tired beyond words, of wanting only a long rest, of sleeping on your sister's couch with no home and no income and pressure to leave, of walking far to the bus and being denied again by those who judge your health. The Lord sees all of this. He is not as those who have gaslighted you and treated you as if you were in perfect health. He knows your frame, He remembers that you are dust, and He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. There is healing in Christ, and not only in great things but in the least things about Him. As it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the very leaves, the little things about Christ, are full of healing virtue. He can heal the body and the mind and the spirit, and even when healing is slow in this life, His pardon and His presence are healing to the soul. He has begun to heal you and the virtue which His grace has infused will work in you till you shall be without spot or wrinkle.

You ask for clarity when your mind jumps and stalls, when one side of your brain is slow to process and you cannot tell how your words sound to others. Be assured that the Father knows your heart when you cannot find the filter or the phrase. He does not measure your prayer by perfect sentences but by a sincere heart turned to Christ. When you could only say Father, that was enough, for He knew all the rest.

You also speak of appealing and of holding the hospital to account for what was done to you, and you wonder about your own heart whether it is revenge. To seek what is just and true is not revenge. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, but to speak the truth and to seek that what was done wrongly be made known is lawful and right, if it be done without hatred and with a desire for righteousness rather than for bitter pay back. Commit that document and that process to the Lord, and ask Him to keep your heart clean from malice while you pursue what is honest. Do what is right and leave the outcome with Him.

I will pray for you now.

O Lord our God, look upon this weary child of Thine who has been smitten so long and so often. Thou hast seen the endless attacks, the hunger and fear with food, the cancers hidden, the heart strained, the eye darkened and restored, the brain injured and fogged, the homelessness and the weariness that says I can no longer work or study. Have mercy and grant light where there has been non stop smiting. Grant breath that is easy, sleep that is peaceful, and a mind that is stayed upon Thee. Grant healing according to Thy will, and if healing tarry, grant sustaining grace. Provide for daily needs, open a door for provision and for a place to dwell, and give favour in the appeal that is to come. Give wisdom to the physicians, especially to the one who does take this suffering seriously, and guide every step to the bus and every night upon that couch. Keep this soul from departing from Thee, and keep Thyself from departing from this soul, according to Thy covenant promise. Give a very real rest to one who longs for vacation and recovery, even as Thou givest rest to the weary who come to Jesus. Let the healing leaves of Christ be laid upon this wounded heart and body. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior, who alone can save and who will never cast out any who come to Him, Amen.

Be encouraged to hold on your way, not in your own power but in His. Continue to walk with your physician, continue in prayer even with single words when sentences will not come, and continue to cast your care upon Him for He careth for you. We will continue to remember you before the throne of grace.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been read with care and I thank you for sharing so honestly even when it is so hard to find the right words. God hears you, even when you could only say Father, even when your mind goes blank and your words come out without a filter. Scripture says the Spirit helps us when we do not know how to pray and intercedes for us when we groan without words, and the Lord knows your heart fully even when others misunderstand you.

I hear how heavy this season has been. To walk far to the bus while still trying to recover, to be denied help again, to face a terrifying choking and reflux attack in the night, to feel strange in your breathing until early morning, and to be kept awake by fear, that is a lot to carry. Thank God for your sister being there to help you and for His mercy in sparing your life that night. Thank you for giving thanks to Him for that, He is worthy of it.

I also hear the longer weight you have carried for fifty two years, fighting to find food you can eat, fighting to be believed for twenty three years while two rare thyroid cancers were hidden, enduring the damage to your heart and your eyes from treatment and the long delay in care, living with traumatic brain injury and brain fog that makes ordinary thinking and communication feel so slow and exhausting, being without stable housing and feeling pressure to leave your sister's couch while having no health to work and no income for decades, and feeling tired in both body and mind to the point of wanting only a long time of rest and recovery. It is understandable that you feel worn down and that your mind jumps and stalls. God sees all of this. You are not forgotten and you are not seen as perfectly healthy when you are suffering. He sees you as His child who needs care.

You asked for light and for clarity when your mind feels scattered and your sentences will not come together. I am praying that God will give you that clarity, that He will calm your mind and steady your breathing and your sleep, and that He will give wisdom to your doctors, especially your primary care doctor who listens to you, as you continue to seek care. I am praying also for your appeal with Social Security and for the difficult work of holding the hospital accountable, that God will give you strength, sound counsel, and peace as you use the careful documentation you prepared, and that He will guard your heart from bitterness and lead you in what is right. God knows your motives even when you are unsure yourself.

Jesus alone is our hope and our salvation, and He invites those who are weary and burdened to come to Him for rest. That rest is not only a vacation from pressure, though God does care about your need for real rest and recovery, but a deep rest for the soul that He gives as you bring every burden to Him. He does not gaslight or dismiss you. He is compassionate and He promises to be near to the brokenhearted and to sustain you day by day.

May the Lord provide for your daily needs, open a stable place to live, strengthen your body and mind, heal what can be healed, and give you patience and endurance for the long road of recovery. May He lift the fog and slow the racing thoughts and help you to write and speak and be understood. May He give you favor and fairness in the appeal process and guide every step with the medical care you still need.

Father in heaven, thank You that You know this dear one fully and love him with an everlasting love through Jesus Christ Your Son. Thank You for saving his life again the other night. I ask You to pour out Your light where there has been endless heaviness, to give clear thought where there is confusion, to give steady breath and sleep and healing to his body, to provide income and housing and rest, and to be his advocate and comfort when he feels unheard. Give wisdom for the appeal and for the hospital matter, and let Your will be done with justice and mercy. Keep him close to You, remind him daily that You hear even a single word, Father, and that You will never leave him. In the name of Jesus our only Savior, amen.
