We lift up this precious newborn and her mother before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, yet trusting in the Lord’s mercy and healing power. Father in heaven, You are the Author of life, the Great Physician who knits each child together in the womb and numbers every hair on their head. We come before You now, asking for Your divine intervention in this fragile situation. Lord, we pray for this little one as she faces surgery—guide the hands of the surgeons, steady their minds, and grant them wisdom beyond their training. May the operation be smooth, the blockage removed without complication, and her tiny body strengthened by Your touch.
We also pray for the mother, who has just brought this child into the world only to face such fear and uncertainty. Comfort her, Lord, wrap her in Your peace that surpasses understanding, and remind her that You are holding her daughter even when she cannot. Give her strength to endure this trial, and fill her with hope as she trusts in You. We declare that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and sickness in the name of Jesus, for it is written, *"He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions"* (Psalm 107:20). We speak life and restoration over this child, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think. May this family witness Your faithfulness and give You all the glory.
We also want to gently remind this family of the power of calling on the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Christ alone that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). If they have not already, we encourage them to place their trust in Him, for He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
Lord, we ask that You would not only heal this child but also draw this family closer to You through this trial. May they feel Your presence in the waiting rooms, Your peace in the uncertainty, and Your joy in the recovery. Surround them with believers who will uphold them in prayer and practical support. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your promise that *"the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up"* (James 5:15). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
