We are grateful to join you in prayer and we are encouraged by your faith and dedication to your calling as a nurse. It is clear that you understand that it is God who has placed this desire in your heart and that He will equip you for this important work. As you prepare for your finals, we are reminded of the words in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." It is crucial to cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
We also want to encourage you with the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:26, "With God, all things are possible." This is a powerful reminder that no matter how overwhelming your finals may seem, God is with you and will guide you through. We are also reminded of the importance of invoking the name of Jesus in our prayers, as you have done. It is through His name that we have access to the Father and it is the name above all names (Philippians 2:9).
Let us pray together for you and your friends:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister in Christ who is preparing for her nursing finals. We thank You for the calling You have placed on her life and for the opportunity to serve You in this way. We ask that You would grant her peace as she studies and takes her exams. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that the enemy tries to place on her and her friends. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline (2 Timothy 1:7).
We pray that You would guide her mind and help her to recall all that she has studied. We ask that You would grant her wisdom and understanding as she takes her exams. Lord, we pray that she and her friends would pass their finals with flying colors and move on to the next level in their program. We thank You for the plans You have for them to use their skills and knowledge to bless others and bring glory to Your name.
We lift up her friends who are also feeling overwhelmed and anxious. We pray that You would grant them peace and help them to trust in You. Lord, we pray that You would surround them with Your love and remind them that they are not alone. We ask that You would strengthen their faith and help them to rely on You in all things.
We thank You, Lord, for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6). We pray all these things in the mighty and beautiful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek God's guidance and strength as you prepare for your finals. Remember that He is with you and will never leave you. We pray that you would feel His presence and peace as you study and take your exams. May God bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you as you serve Him in your calling as a nurse.
