With all my power and might make my children see what their father’s emotional abuse and their neglect is doing in my life. Remove them all from my life, heart, memories, and mind. Send me those who want and deserve me. Use me God. Thank you for Jesus. I let them go. I am free. I have peace. May they see their part immediate or never see or speak to me again after all I tried!

We hear the deep pain and longing in your heart, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens before the Lord. The emotional abuse and neglect you have endured are not God’s will for your life, and we grieve with you over the wounds inflicted by those who should have cherished and protected you. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 34:18, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You are not forgotten or abandoned by Him, and He sees the injustice you have suffered. He is the Father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5), and He will bring justice and healing in His perfect timing.

Your desire to release your children from your life, heart, memories, and mind is understandable given the pain they have caused, but we must approach this with caution and biblical wisdom. While it is right to set boundaries to protect your heart and seek peace, we are also called to a higher standard of forgiveness and love—even when it feels impossible. Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:44, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* This does not mean you must endure ongoing abuse or maintain unhealthy relationships, but it does mean releasing bitterness and trusting God to work in their hearts and yours.

We also notice that you have not explicitly invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, though you did thank God for Him. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the brokenness of this world. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in Acts 4:12, we are reminded, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. He is the only One who can truly set you free, heal your heart, and give you the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

As for your request to have God send you those who "want and deserve you," we pray that God will surround you with godly, loving, and supportive believers who will encourage you in your faith and walk with Christ. However, we must be careful not to seek validation or love from people as our ultimate source of fulfillment. Our worth and identity are found in Christ alone (Colossians 3:3-4). Human relationships, even the best of them, will always fall short of the perfect love that only God can provide. Seek first His kingdom and righteousness, and He will add to your life what is good and according to His will (Matthew 6:33).

If there is any unforgiveness, resentment, or bitterness in your heart toward your children or anyone else, we encourage you to release it to the Lord. Unforgiveness is like a poison that harms us far more than it harms those who have wronged us. Jesus warns us in Matthew 6:14-15, *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* This is not to condemn you but to free you. Forgiveness does not mean what was done to you was okay; it means you are choosing to trust God to handle the justice and healing while you walk in freedom.

Lastly, your declaration, *"Use me, God,"* is beautiful and aligns with the heart of a true servant of Christ. We pray that God will indeed use you mightily for His kingdom, but we also pray that He will prepare you, heal you, and equip you for the work He has called you to. In 2 Timothy 2:21, we read, *"If anyone therefore purges himself from these, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, and suitable for the master’s use, prepared for every good work."* Let God refine you and fill you with His Spirit so that you may shine His light into the darkness.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is carrying such deep wounds and pain. Lord, You see the tears they have cried, the nights they have spent in anguish, and the heartache they have endured at the hands of those who should have loved them. We ask that You would be their Comforter, their Healer, and their Restorer. Wrap them in Your arms of love and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way.

Lord, we pray for healing over every wound inflicted by emotional abuse and neglect. Where there is brokenness, bring restoration. Where there is pain, bring Your peace. Where there is bitterness, pour out Your love and forgiveness. Help them to release their children into Your hands, trusting that You will deal with their hearts and their actions. Give them the strength to set healthy boundaries and the grace to forgive, even as You have forgiven us.

Father, we ask that You would surround them with godly relationships—brothers and sisters in Christ who will encourage them, pray with them, and walk with them in this season. Guard their heart from seeking validation or love in the wrong places, and remind them daily that their worth is found in You alone.

We also pray for their children, Lord. Soften their hearts and open their eyes to the pain they have caused. Bring conviction where it is needed, and draw them to repentance. If it is Your will, restore these relationships in a way that honors You. But if not, give our brother/sister the peace and strength to move forward without looking back.

Most of all, Lord, we pray that You would use them for Your glory. Prepare them, equip them, and fill them with Your Spirit. Let them be a vessel of honor, sanctified and ready for every good work. Give them a heart that beats for Your kingdom and a life that reflects Your love and grace.

We rebuke every spirit of bitterness, resentment, and unforgiveness in the name of Jesus. We declare freedom, healing, and peace over their life. May they walk in the fullness of Your love and the power of Your Spirit.

In Jesus’ precious and holy name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend. We understand the deep hurt you're feeling, the longing for freedom from the pain your children have caused. It's okay to want to let go of the emotional burden they've placed on you. We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God sees your pain, and He's there to heal and comfort you.

We want to encourage you to keep your heart open to forgiveness, as Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:14-15. Holding onto bitterness only harms you. Trust God with the justice and healing process. Remember, forgiveness isn't about what they deserve, but about what you're called to do.

We also want to assure you that God is with you. He's the Father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5), and He'll never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). He'll bring people into your life who will love and support you.

Let's pray together: Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name. We lift up our friend who's hurting. Comfort them, Lord. Heal their broken heart and give them peace. Help them to forgive and let go of the past. Surround them with loving, supportive people. Use them, Lord, for Your glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
