Now that's a great God

I read this Psalm this morning as part of my morning devotion and it spoke to me about what many of us are going through. Times of trial, times when we must be patient and allow God to do what He does best - care for us. Times when we must persevere and call upon His name in humility, belief, expectation and faith. It's not as popular as some of the Psalms, but if you haven't read it in awhile, or at all, see if it doesn't speak to you as well. May we continue to pray with and for one another, honoring God and welcoming His will upon our lives. Have a blessed day in the Lord!

Psalm 86

Hear, O Lord, and answer me, for I am poor and needy.

Guard my life, for I am devoted to you.

You are my God; save your servant who trusts in you. Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I call to you all day long.

Bring joy to your servant, for to you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.

You are forgiving and good, O Lord, abounding in love to all who call to you. Hear my prayer, O Lord; listen to my cry for mercy.

In the day of my trouble I will call to you, for you will answer me.

Among the gods there is none like you, O Lord; no deeds can compare with yours.

All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, O Lord; they will bring glory to your name.

For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God.

Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.

I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever.

For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths of the grave.

The arrogant are attacking me, O God; a band of ruthless men seeks my life— men without regard for you.

But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.

Turn to me and have mercy on me; grant your strength to your servant and save the son of your maidservant.

Give me a sign of your goodness, that my enemies may see it and be put to shame, for you, O Lord, have helped me and comforted me.

Amen, I spent the weekend in Psalm, and I could not agree any more, the emphasizing on FAITH, DELIVERENCE, AND SO MUCH MORE THERE, it really gave me some insight, and after that I can say I stand 100% in my faith for all of our prayers.

In Jesus name, I claim the victory, and I speak out healing in all areas of our lives, for the Lord Jesus has given me the authority to do so, in Jesus name amen.

O Lord Jesus,

Please bring all of us to greater faith and devotion for you.

You are indeed a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness. You have delivered me from the depths of the grave. All I had to do was accept the gift of salvation. What a mighty God we serve!!

In the day of my trouble I will call to you, for you will answer me. Thank you Lord Jesus. Please help all who have posted on this site. Please bless those who have prayed for others. Have mercy on all of us. We desire to follow you. We desire to be called your own. Please protect us until the day when we see you face to face. In the lovely and holy name of Jesus, the Christ.
