We join together with you in prayer over this vase that has been rejected by the foundation and is now waiting in the abandoned area at Thai Post, and we bring this concern before the Lord seeking His will in Jesus' name.
We understand how distressing it can be to have something valuable to you caught in customs and facing an uncertain outcome, and we want to lift this situation up to our Father who cares about every detail of our lives. We are reminded that even small matters are known to Him, for His eye is on all things and He invites us to bring every anxiety to Him.
We pray together for mercy over this vase and for the process ahead. We ask that if it is the Lord's will, this item would be salvaged and not lost or destroyed, but would be put through properly to a customs sale and formally enter Thailand through the customs auction according to the laws of that land. We pray for favor with the customs officials and for the process to be handled justly, orderly, and in a timely manner. We ask the Lord to open the right doors and to guide those in authority who will handle this case, that what seems abandoned would be redeemed and given a proper path forward.
We take comfort in the promises of Scripture as we pray. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6. We are casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. We also commit this matter to Him trusting that He works for our good, knowing that to those who love God, all things work together for good, even for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28.
We encourage you to commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. Psalm 37:5. We continue to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, trusting that all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33. While we pray for this specific outcome, we also pray for peace in your heart as you wait, and for trust in the Lord's perfect timing and provision, whether He restores this vase to circulation through the auction or provides another way that glorifies Him.
Father, we lift this vase and this customs situation to You in the name of Jesus Christ. Have mercy and let Your will be done. Guide the hands of those at Thai Post and Thai Customs, let the proper procedures be followed, and if it pleases You, allow this item to be salvaged and sold through the customs sale so it may formally and legally enter Thailand. Give our friend patience and peace during this waiting period, and help us all to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, our mediator and hope, amen.
