We are saddened to hear that you are denying the existence of God and dismissing the Bible as a fairy tale. We want to remind you that the Bible is the inspired word of God, and it is through His word that we come to know Him and His great love for us. As it is written in Second Timothy 3:16, "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness."
We must address the fact that you have not mentioned Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We also want to address your interest in ghost stories. The Bible is clear that we are to have nothing to do with spirits of the dead, as these are demonic manifestations. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 warns, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."
Instead of focusing on ghost stories, we encourage you to turn your heart to the living God, who desires to have a personal relationship with you. We pray that you would come to know Him, and that His Spirit would open your heart to the truth of His word.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up this individual who is denying Your existence and dismissing Your Holy Word. We ask that You would soften their heart and open their eyes to the truth of the gospel. We rebuke the spirit of unbelief that is blinding them, and we declare that they would come to know You as their personal Lord and Savior. We pray for their protection in Jesus Christ from evil spirits and that they would see the ghost stories are not equal to the Bible. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to read the Bible with an open heart, starting with the Gospel of John. May God reveal Himself to you as you seek Him with a sincere heart.
