Notice of withdrawal and cancel divorce.

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I pray that my husband stop and cancel divorce and restore our marriage. I pray that mother in law stop instigating him to divorce. I'm asking God to bless me for permanent job that I can do it. I Pray that we can finish how we were building. I'm that my kids support me during this difficult time. I also that listen and pay attention school and pass especially the elder one. In Jesus name Amen 🙏

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage that is under attack. Father, we declare that marriage is a sacred covenant established by You, a reflection of Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We rebuke the spirit of division and strife that seeks to tear apart what You have joined together (Matthew 19:6). Lord, we pray for this husband to turn away from the path of divorce and to seek reconciliation with his wife. Soften his heart, remove any bitterness or unforgiveness, and let Your peace reign in his mind. We also rebuke the influence of the mother-in-law in this situation, any words or actions that fuel discord must cease in Jesus’ name. Let Your truth prevail, and may she speak life and encouragement instead of division.

Father, we ask for Your provision in this sister’s life. You are Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider (Genesis 22:14), and we trust You to open doors for a permanent job that aligns with her skills and honors You. Strengthen her hands to complete the work You’ve called her to, whether in her career or the building projects she mentioned. We declare that her labor will not be in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

For her children, Lord, we pray for wisdom and maturity. May they rise up as sources of support and encouragement during this trial (Proverbs 17:17). Give them focus in their studies, especially the elder one, and let their hearts be inclined toward obedience and excellence (Colossians 3:20). We declare that their ears will be attentive to instruction and their minds sharp to grasp what they are learning.

We also address the weight of this season, emotionally, spiritually, and practically. The enemy seeks to isolate and discourage, but we stand on Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We pray for supernatural strength, joy that defies circumstances, and a community of believers to surround this family with love and prayer.

Above all, we declare that restoration is possible because with You, all things are possible (Mark 10:27). We bind every spirit of divorce, unforgiveness, and pride in Jesus’ name, and we loose love, humility, and unity over this marriage. May this husband and wife remember their vows before You and choose to fight for their covenant. Let their home be rebuilt on the foundation of Your Word, and may their children see the power of forgiveness and grace in action.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5). Amen.

We hear how much you’re carrying right now, the hurt of a marriage in crisis, the stress of finding stable work, and the deep desire for your kids to be okay. That’s an overwhelming load, and we’re standing with you in prayer.

Right now, focusing on what’s within your reach can bring some steadiness. If job applications are out, maybe a concrete step this week is to update your rèsumè or connect with someone in your network who might have leads. Even one small move can ease the sense of spinning. For the kids, especially your older one, gentle check-ins about how they’re really doing can open a door without pushing. Sometimes just asking, “What’s been hardest lately?” and listening is a lifeline.

On the marriage, you’ve asked for God to cancel the divorce, and we join you in asking. At the same time, while you wait and pray, having a wise pastor or counselor walk alongside you both (if he’s open to it) could create space to untangle hard things, including family dynamics with your mother-in-law. Sometimes a neutral third party helps reduce the temperature so real conversations can happen. But even if he’s not willing, finding that support for yourself is not giving up, it’s making sure you’re held steady.

We pray with you: Father, in Jesus’ name, bring peace to this home. Protect the children’s hearts and minds, help them focus and succeed at school, and draw them close to You. Quiet the strife and do what only You can do in this marriage. Provide work that meets this family’s needs. Surround this mom with steady, loving support. Amen.

You have come into the house of mourning, and though the shadows be deep, it is better to be there than in the house of feasting; for in such a place the ear is unstopped to hear the whisper of God. He speaketh once, yea twice, though man perceiveth it not, but in affliction He is heard. Your cry hath risen up, and the Lord, who is married unto His people, taketh note of every tear.

Yet measure yourself by the law of the house. This is the law of the house: holiness unto the Lord. A marriage is not a casual bond but a solemn covenant, and God will have His order honored in His own house. If He restoreth you, it will be that you may walk in obedience, not in self-will. Ought we not to take heed lest we insult the King in His own palace? The Gospel hath not come to set aside the Law; it writeth the Law upon the heart, so that we love what God commandeth. Come then to Jesus that it may be so written, and let repentance work in you a holy dread of sin, as a burnt child dreadeth the fire.

Behold Peter, how he fell and how he was restored. Presumption had flourished in the soil of his heart, and it bore its bitter fruit. Yet his fall was not a continuance in sin; it was soon over. The Lord turned and looked upon him, and that look was effectual because Christ had prayed for him. So He prayeth for thee. Go out, then, from the warmth of the fire where your soul is in danger, leave the strife and the bitterness. Weep bitterly, and He shall lift you up. He will yet give you employment, for He who put Adam in the garden to dress it and keep it will not leave His children idle. The Perfect Restorer can change the drunkard and the blasphemer in a minute; can He not turn a husband's heart and silence the instigation of the adversary? Commit the mother-in-law to God; strive not in your own strength.

Pour out your petitions like a little child that must tell somebody. Unburden every care upon Him. He will hear. For your children, train them in the Lord’s ways, and He will give them understanding. He who feedeth the lambs will see to their needs and their studies.

Above all, abide in Christ. There is heaven in every glance of His eye, and infinite joy in every word of His mouth when He speaketh comfortably to His servants. He restoreth the years the locust hath eaten. May He write His law upon your inward parts, and cause you to walk in His statutes, till the earthly marriage be a shadow of that great marriage of the Lamb.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You bring before God the desire to see your marriage restored, and this is good, for the Lord Himself has declared, "What God has joined together, let not man put asunder." To sever a marriage is to tear one flesh, a thing abhorrent both to nature and to the Creator. Pray without ceasing for your husband, that his heart may be softened, and for your mother-in-law, that she may cease her instigations, remembering that Christ came to bring a sword that may divide even those of the same household, yet we are called to overcome evil with good. Do not despair when trials deepen, for often God permits the storm to rage more fiercely just before He brings deliverance, training you to endure and trust Him.

Yet even as you seek the healing of your union, examine your own heart. Too many treat a wedding as a pageant of borrowed mirrors and costly robes, but the true adornment of a bride is modesty and a shamefaced spirit. Invite Christ into your home not by lavish displays but by gentleness, prayer, and care for the poor. A troubled marriage is not mended merely by finishing a building or securing a permanent job, though these provisions are lawful needs; rather, cut out the root of worldly anxiety and seek first the treasure that is above. If your children see you clinging to God with perseverance, they will learn to support you and attend to their duties, for the greatest lesson is a mother's patient faith.

Remember the Canaanite woman: though unworthy, by her persistent cry she received the Bread that was not meant for her. Continue in prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, and do not grow weary. God is able to restore what has been shattered, to silence divisive tongues, and to make your house a commonwealth of heaven on earth. Only do not desire the restoration of your marriage for comfort alone, but that together you and your husband may become one flesh in holiness, serving the Lord without distraction. In Jesus' name, hold fast.

The cry in your request echoes much of what we find in the book of Job. You are sitting in a painful place, watching something you value come apart, and it seems as though those closest to the situation are only adding to the grief. The loss of a marriage, the meddling of another, the uncertainty of provision, and the worry over your children's hearts and minds are not small calamities. They weigh heavily on your soul, just as Job’s losses were laid on the balances and found too heavy to bear.

Job’s experience pulls back a curtain we rarely see. There was a contest in the heavenly realms over his life precisely because he was upright. Satan accused him, and God permitted a severe stripping away of everything. His friends came with their traditions and their proverbs, sure that this disaster must be the result of some hidden sin. They urged him to simply get right and find peace. But their counsel was words without knowledge. They were trying to explain a divine mystery with human philosophy, and it only brought greater confusion. You may be hearing similar voices, whether from within or from others, insisting that if you just did something differently, all of this would stop. Be careful not to take that burden upon yourself. The accuser is always ready to point a finger, but his accusations are not the final word.

When Job spoke, he did not curse God. He cursed the day of his birth because the pain had become overwhelming. He felt God had made him a target. Yet even in that despair, he declared that the breath of every living thing is in the hand of God. That truth is your anchor right now. The God in whose hand your very breath is held has not lost sight of you, even when you cannot perceive Him. He hangs the earth upon nothing, and He sustains you in this turmoil.

Notice how Job cried out for a mediator, for someone to lay a hand on both him and God. He asked, "If a man dies, shall he live again?" Those ancient cries from the ash heap find their full answer in Jesus Christ. Job lived without the assurance we now hold. Because of the gospel, your hope is not merely a question mark. The grave is not your mother or sister. Christ has gone through death and risen, and He intercedes for you. When your strength ends, His strength is perfected.

Release your grip on trying to control the outcome of the divorce proceedings or to manage your mother-in-law's influence. Entrust your husband to the Lord. The command to be at peace does not mean pretending the storm is not real; it means anchoring yourself to the One who commands the storm. Your need for a permanent job and the ability to finish what you were building is known. Ask, but also rest, knowing that receiving good from God’s hand does not entitle us to a life without hardship. If He permits a season of lack, He provides grace to endure it.

As for your children, pray that they would not be hardened by this. Ask that God would give them attentive hearts in school, especially the elder one who may be carrying a heavy emotional load. God fashions every life in the womb, and He cares deeply for their future. He is able to keep their minds clear and focused, and to draw them close to Himself during this difficult time.

When everything is stripped back, the only truly secure thing is knowing that your Redeemer lives. Job’s words were graven in the rock forever as a testimony that God never wastes the pain of His people. Let Him bring you to the end of your own resources, for it is there that you find Him to be more than enough.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over these past days. It has been our heart to lift up your marriage, your husband, and your mother-in-law before the Lord, asking Him to intervene and bring restoration. We have prayed for your job search, that God would open the right door for a permanent position that brings stability and provision. We’ve asked the Lord to strengthen your children, that they would support you and find focus in their studies, especially your elder one. And we’ve prayed for the completion of your home, that God would provide the means and the way to finish what was started.

If the Lord has moved in any of these areas—if your husband has turned his heart toward reconciliation, if your mother-in-law’s influence has lessened, if a job has come through, or if your children are standing with you—we would love to hear a praise report. Your testimony could be an encouragement to others walking through similar trials.

If, however, the answers haven’t yet come, or if the situation feels even more difficult, please don’t hesitate to post this as a new request. We are here to continue standing with you in faith, trusting that God hears and answers prayer according to His perfect will and timing. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting in His promises, and know that we are still lifting you up.

May the Lord bless you with His peace, His provision, and His presence as you walk this path. We pray all these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
