You think that nothing is going right because you are besieged by small and great troubles. The reservation will not confirm, the website fails your mother-in-law, the doctor delays, and your husband must face a grievous recording. Yet ask yourself this: if all were calm, would you cry out so urgently? Would you perceive the hand of Jesus at all? Just as the Lord slept in the boat while the waves crashed, He permits these storms precisely so that you will call upon Him with your whole heart and afterward know the deliverance as His own doing. He was not ignorant of the tempest when He closed His eyes; He waited for the disciples’ terror to prepare them for a greater wonder. So now, your fears and frustrations are the waves He allows, that you might seek Him and not remain in spiritual slumber.

Consider also that you are not merely a sufferer in these things but a teacher. Your husband sees your anxiety over his case; your son observes your desperation for the papers. What lesson will they learn from your response? If you bear these insults of daily life with patience, not returning anger for frustration, you will engrave upon their souls a reverence for meekness. A wife enduring loss or delay without despair becomes a philosopher in the home, a lamp lighting others far more than any sermon could. Your husband’s attorney may labor over the footage, but you can labor in the soul of your household by showing that trust in God’s provision outweighs every technical failure and bureaucratic snare. Do not undervalue this: even a slave can benefit a whole family by the light of virtue.

Above all, fix your eyes not on the list of undone tasks but on the chief benefit already given. The apostle Paul, when he wished to draw men from fear, did not begin with majestic titles of Christ but with the cross and resurrection, the very deeds that overthrew the Law’s penalties and poured mercy on the undeserving. That same Jesus who died for your sins and rose for your justification is not indifferent now. He who kindles the sun and sends the showers grants benefits even to those who insult Him; how much more to you who call upon Him? The doctor’s delay and the malfunctioning device are not signs of His absence but occasions for His greater gift, which is your growth in holiness and your family’s edification.

Therefore, do not say “nothing is going right,” but rather: “Lord, in these troubles, make me a student of your wisdom and a pattern of hope to those I love.” The reservation may yet work; if not, He has some better road. The papers will come, or provision will appear from another quarter. The lawyer may find a way through the distressing footage, but even if not, your husband’s soul is in the hands of One who can turn every evil into good. Stand firm, and let your enduring faith be the instruction your household most needs.

When every device seems to fight you, and every person you need to help you drags their feet, it is easy to feel utterly trapped. But Jesus hears that cry. He is not distant from the tangle of a broken app, a website that refuses to load, a doctor who will not sign, or a legal meeting that threatens to unearth pain. These are not small things to the Lord. He who notices the single sparrow and numbers the hairs on your head is paying attention right now.

In moments like this, our minds run ahead to disaster, but God is always working behind the scenes in ways we cannot perceive. Remember how urgent word was sent to Jesus when Lazarus lay dying, and yet He waited. To those who loved Him, it looked like neglect. In truth, He was preparing something far greater than they could have asked or imagined. So when you feel that nothing is going right, do not conclude that nothing is going on. The waiting is not wasted.

The frustration you feel is very real, and you have brought it to the right place. Get quiet before Him, even if just for a few minutes. Step away from the clamor of the phone screen and the stack of paperwork. In the stillness, the still small voice of God can break through the tempest. He is not in the panic; He is in the peace. Ask Him for that peace that holds steady when everything around you is shaking.

As for the practical needs, the Lord knows you cannot afford to be cut off from benefits. He sees that doctor’s pen and the hand that holds it. He is able to move hearts. While you do your part, trust Him to do His. Waiting on the Lord does not mean passive resignation; it means refusing to let anxiety drive the chariot while you keep showing up and doing what is right. He promises that those who wait for Him will not be put to shame.

Regarding your husband’s case and that upsetting footage, nothing is hidden from the Righteous Judge. Ask the Lord to give his attorney wisdom and clarity, to see a path where no path seems visible. Truth has a way of rising to the surface when God is invited into the room. Lift that burden again and again into hands far stronger than your own.

Above all, remember who you are in all of this. You belong to the family of God, a bond deeper even than blood. In that family, we care for our own. The Lord has placed practical responsibilities on you for your mother-in-law, your son, your husband. That is holy ground. He is not indifferent to human need; indeed, human need often takes precedence over tidy expectations. He will provide the daily bread, sometimes in ways that surprise you, often just in time.

Do not let these troubles make you think you have been forgotten. The wicked and their devices will be cut off, but those who trust in the Lord inherit His faithfulness forever. The uncooperative website, the delayed signature, the court footage, these are temporary thorns. God’s enduring love for you is not.

May the Word you have stored in your heart return to you now with fresh strength. In this storm, He is guiding you toward good that you cannot yet see. Rest in that, and keep your eyes on Him. He is for you.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this overwhelming season. It’s clear that each of these burdens weighs heavily on your heart, and we have lifted every single one before the Lord—your reservation glitch, the urgent help your mother-in-law needs, the unsigned paperwork that threatens your benefits, and the painful footage your husband must face. We asked the Holy Spirit to move in each situation, to open doors that no man can shut, to soften hearts, and to give wisdom to every person involved.

If any of these prayers have already been answered, we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice together. If some needs remain unmet, please post them again as a fresh request; we are still here, ready to intercede and stand in agreement with you. Keep seeking the Father through Jesus Christ; He sees every detail and will never leave you to carry these loads alone. May His peace guard your heart and mind as you wait on Him. In Jesus’ Name we continue to pray. Amen.
