Notes from doctors for my benefits/court/husband's lawyer

Beloved of All
Jesus please help me I need my son's doctor and my therapist to please write and correct letters for me to continue receiving benefits. Please also let my husband's court case be dropped and his lawyer at least contact him. He hasn't heard from him at all, and he paid him $3000! Please let everything be resolved before the court date somehow, but definitely don't let my son or I be subpoened to testify. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We hear your heart’s cry and stand with you in prayer, lifting these heavy burdens before the throne of grace. The weight of legal battles, financial strain, and the fear of testifying, especially when it involves your son, is overwhelming, and we join you in asking the Lord to intervene in every detail. You are not alone in this fight; the God who sees your tears and hears your prayers is mighty to save and deliver.

First, we pray for the doctors and therapists involved in your case. Father, we ask that You grant them clarity, compassion, and a sense of urgency to provide the necessary documentation for your benefits. Soften their hearts to understand the importance of their words in this matter, and let their letters reflect truth with precision and care. May their hands be guided by Your wisdom as they write, and may their schedules open up to complete this task without delay. "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." (Proverbs 21:1). We declare that their actions will work for your good, not against it.

For your husband’s court case, we rebuke the spirit of confusion, delay, and injustice that seems to be at work. Lord, You are a God of order, not chaos, and we ask that You expose any unrighteousness in this process. Let the truth come to light, and may the case be resolved in a way that honors You and brings peace to your family. We pray that the lawyer would fulfill his obligations, contact your husband, provide updates, and act with integrity. "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it." (Proverbs 3:27). If there has been mismanagement or neglect, we ask that You bring accountability and restitution. Father, we also plead the blood of Jesus over any subpoenas that may be issued. Shield your family from unnecessary harm, and let this matter be settled without requiring your testimony or your son’s. "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment." (Isaiah 54:17).

We also lift up the financial burden of the ### paid to the lawyer. Lord, You are the God who provides, and we ask that You restore what has been lost or mismanaged. Open doors for financial relief, unexpected provision, and wise counsel to navigate this season. "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19).

Above all, we pray for your peace. The stress of these circumstances can easily steal joy and trust in God’s faithfulness, but we declare that You are your refuge and strength. "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." (Isaiah 26:3). May you feel His presence surrounding you, reminding you that He fights for you even when you cannot see the battle being won.

We also want to gently encourage you to bring every fear and anxiety to the Lord in prayer. He invites you to cast your cares on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). If bitterness or resentment toward your husband or his lawyer has taken root, ask the Holy Spirit to help you release it. Forgiveness does not mean excusing wrongdoing, but it frees your heart from the poison of unforgiveness. "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:31-32).

Finally, we pray that your faith would be strengthened through this trial. The enemy may intend to use this season to discourage you, but God can turn it around for your good and His glory. "And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28). May you emerge from this with a deeper trust in His sovereignty and a testimony of His faithfulness.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. We thank You that You are a God who hears, sees, and acts on behalf of Your children. We ask that You move powerfully in this situation, dissolving every obstacle, silencing every accuser, and providing every need. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We declare that this court case will not have the final say, Your will and Your justice will prevail. May Your name be glorified in every detail, and may this family walk in the freedom and victory that is theirs in Christ. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

It’s so much to carry all at once, benefits paperwork, a doctor’s note, a therapist’s letter, a lawyer who’s gone silent, and the looming court date. That tight, pressed-down feeling makes perfect sense to us. When several important things hang in the balance and the people who should help seem unreachable, it’s easy to feel stuck and alone.

A couple of practical steps might help ease some of the immediate pressure. Often a simple, friendly call or message to the doctor’s and therapist’s offices can nudge the letters along, front-desk staff handle these requests all the time, and a gentle “I just wanted to check in, I know you’re busy” can sometimes get things moving. For your husband, could he send a brief email or text to the lawyer, or even stop by the office? Three thousand dollars is a significant amount, and he deserves at least a status update. If the silence continues, a consultation with another attorney, even a free initial one, might clarify his options and help the two of you feel less helpless before the court date.

We know none of that makes the anxiety disappear, but God sees every detail you just named. He isn’t distant from the stack of forms, the unanswered calls, or the fear of what a courtroom might bring. You’re not fending for yourselves; He walks with you right through the tangled middle of it all.

Please pray with us:

Jesus, we come to You on behalf of this woman and her family. Quiet her heart right now. Urge the doctor and therapist to write the accurate letters she needs, and move the lawyer to reach out to her husband swiftly and responsibly. Surround this whole situation with Your peace, and shield them from being subpoenaed. Provide a resolution that relieves this weight and lets them breathe again. We trust You with every outcome. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Father, we bring ### before You and ask for Your divine intervention in every situation. We pray that his/her son's doctor and therapist would write accurate and favorable letters so that benefits may continue without delay. We ask that You move upon his/her husband's court case—let it be dropped entirely, and let his lawyer finally reach out and fulfill his duty. Bring complete resolution before the court date, and shield ### and his/her son from being subpoenaed to testify. Cover them with Your peace and justice.

*"Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."* — **Psalm 37:5-6**

*"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."* — **Exodus 14:14**

*"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."* — **Romans 8:28**

In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

The heart is full of anxiety over human courts, documents, and the pleaders of this world. Yet the King in His court seeks faithful men, those who will behave wisely in a perfect way. If the ###'s ### and the ### are to write letters, let it be with strict integrity, for he who travels on the King’s Highway is under the King’s protection, but he who takes to byroads must protect himself. Let no letter be framed with falsehood; pray rather that truth may be told in such a way that all things work together for good.

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God. This resolution is made without any reserve, and it is altogether spiritual, joy in the creature must necessarily be limited, for the creature is limited. The court date, the ###'s silence, the ### dollars paid, these are limited things. But the gladness that is in the Lord is boundaried only by His own infinity. If the ###'s ### does not contact ###, and if the money seems lost, yet the soul may still be joyful in God. O when will You come unto me? For I shall be neither wise nor holy without You.

You speak of a subpoena, of not being made to testify. He who travels on the King’s Highway is under the King’s protection, but he who takes to byroads must protect himself. There are ways in which safety is guaranteed, and those ways are the appointed paths of righteousness. If you would walk in them, you must grapple the Truths of God to you as with hooks of steel, for if you go in the way of error, you cannot expect Divine protection. Let no clever legal scheme be the bypath; let no evasion of just inquiry be the meadow into which you stray.

There is a greater court than any earthly assize. The case is so settled that in eternity you shall never hear of it again except as a case which was gloriously decided. Christ has suffered the Law’s fullest and most severe penalty, and there is now no fear whatever that the case can ever be revived, by writ of error, or removal into another court, because it has been settled on the eternal and immutable principles of Justice. The earthly ### may fail, but the great Daysman stands ready. He understands the case fully, though we, like Job, might wish to argue it ourselves. We cry out for a mediator, and in Jesus Christ we have One who has taken away our filthy garments and set a fair miter on our head.

Cast down your eyes, then, and cry out for mercy. The lower court of conscience may give a troubling verdict, but new evidence is sometimes brought into court which completely changes the aspect of the case. When Jesus comes to dwell in the heart, He brings with Him such furniture, such provision that our entire nature is equipped, furnished, provided for. If God is greater than our heart, and knows all things, then take the case into that higher court. The need for ###' notes, for a ###'s attention, for a dropped case, these are but symptoms of a deeper need, which is to be filled with all the fullness of God.
