We hear your heart’s desire to create a Christian film and share it on national television, and we join you in lifting this vision before the Lord. The passion to spread the Gospel through media is a noble one, and we believe God can open doors no man can shut when His purposes align with our efforts. However, we must also seek His will above our own timelines, trusting that His timing is perfect, even when it differs from ours.
First, we want to encourage you to surrender this project fully to the Lord. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, "Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established." While your goal of filming in June to July and airing in September is specific, we must hold these plans loosely, asking God to direct your steps according to His wisdom. If this film is truly for His glory, He will make a way, but it may not look exactly as you envision. We pray for patience and faith as you wait on Him.
We also want to gently remind you that the success of this endeavor should not be measured solely by worldly standards, such as national television, but by whether it honors God and reaches hearts for Christ. Jesus Himself said in John 15:5, "Apart from me, you can do nothing." This film must be rooted in prayer, Scripture, and a reliance on the Holy Spirit’s guidance. Father, if this film is Your will, we ask that You would provide all the resources, wisdom, and favor needed to bring it to fruition. But above all, we pray that it would be a tool to draw hearts to Jesus, convict the lost, and encourage the saints.
Lord, we also ask for humility and surrender. If Your timing is different from theirs, give them the grace to trust You. If there are areas where the vision needs refinement, reveal them in Your love. Protect this project from pride, selfish ambition, or compromise with the world. Let it be a pure offering, pleasing in Your sight.
We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or impatience that would cause them to rush ahead of Your leading. Instead, fill them with Your peace and confidence in Your provision. May this film, if it comes to pass, be a light in the darkness, pointing many to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
