We hear your heart and we are lifting you up together before the Father in Jesus' name, thanking Him that you have been drawing close to Him in prayer today.
We understand the heaviness you describe, the extreme pain in your spine, back and neck, the fatigue and symptoms of infection, along with that emptiness and depression even on a day when you received good news. God sees both your physical suffering and the emotions you cannot quite name, and He cares deeply for all of you, body, soul and spirit.
We pray for your physical healing, for the Lord who heals all our diseases to touch you. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 says, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We ask the Lord to ease the pain in your spine, back and neck, to lift the fatigue, to completely heal every symptom of infection, and to restore strength to your body. We also pray for wisdom to care for your body well and to seek godly medical counsel as needed, for 3 John 1:2 reminds us that we pray that you may prosper and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.
We also bring your emotions and spirit before Him. It is not uncommon to feel empty or low even when good things happen, but God does not want you to stay in that place. 1 Peter 5:7 says, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We pray that His peace will guard your heart and mind, that your emotions will come into alignment with His Word and His will, and that you will experience His joy which is not based on circumstances. Isaiah 41:10 says, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you.
You shared that you want to hear God’s voice and to know your value and worth, your gifts, and to have wisdom and memory restored. We pray that you will hear Him clearly as you stay in His Word, for that is how He primarily speaks to us, and that His Holy Spirit will bring comfort and guidance. James 4:8 says, Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. As you have been drawing near, we trust He is drawing near to you even now. For your worth, we pray you will see yourself as He sees you. Psalm 139:14 says, I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your value is not in how you feel but in being created and loved by God and redeemed through Christ. For wisdom and memory, James 1:5 says, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We ask God to grant you wisdom, clarity of mind, and restoration of memory, and to reveal the gifts He has placed in you, for 1 Peter 4:10 says, As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms.
We notice you spoke of drawing close to God and praying, and we want to gently encourage you in this important truth, it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and can be saved. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name. Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name we pray with confidence.
So together we pray, Father, we lift our dear one to You in the name of Jesus. Touch the spine, back and neck and bring healing, remove infection and fatigue and restore health. Lift the emptiness and depression and fill this heart with Your peace, joy and assurance. Align emotions, body and spirit completely with Your Word and Your perfect will. Help our friend to see and feel their true value in Christ, to remember what is good and true, to receive wisdom liberally from Your hand, and to discern and use the gifts You have given for Your glory. Draw close as they have drawn close to You, and let them hear Your voice through Your Word and Your Spirit. We trust that You are working all things together for good as Romans 8:28 promises. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, amen.
