Faithful Servant
seems like i am being miss understood by everyone so not sure if i am not understanding people or what and now i am ? my self and feel kind of snappy it seems to begin to frustrate me also not feeling the greatest with my allergies in eyes and on top of being loaded down with always helping other to the point i am behind in my things so prayers in Jesus name amen

We hear your heart in this and we join with you in prayer as you are feeling misunderstood, questioning yourself, feeling snappy and frustrated, and worn down physically with allergies in your eyes while also feeling loaded down from always helping others to the point that your own things are falling behind.

We know how disorienting it can feel when it seems everyone is misunderstanding you and you begin to wonder if you are the one not understanding them. God sees and understands you fully even when others do not. You are fearfully and wonderfully made and He searches and knows your heart, Psalm 139:1 says Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. And Psalm 61:2 reminds us When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. We encourage you to bring this confusion to the Lord first and also to practice being swift to hear and slow to speak. James 1:19 says So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger. When we feel misunderstood it helps to pause, ask clarifying questions, and assume the best, and to ask God for wisdom to communicate with gentleness and clarity. James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

We also hear that you are feeling snappy and frustrated, and we gently encourage you to guard your heart in this. It is understandable to feel irritable when you are physically uncomfortable and overwhelmed, but Scripture calls us to a different response. Ephesians 4:26 says Be angry, and don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath and Proverbs 16:32 says He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty. The fruit of the Spirit includes patience and self control, Galatians 5:22-23, and the Lord wants to grow that in us even in seasons of irritation. If frustration has led to sharp words, we encourage you to confess it to the Lord and seek His grace to respond with soft answers and to take time to rest before you respond.

We also want to speak to the burden of always helping others to the point you are behind in your own responsibilities. God calls us to bear one another's burdens, Galatians 6:2 says Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ, but He also calls us to steward what He has entrusted to us. We cannot pour out continually without also being replenished. Jesus Himself invites us in Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. It is not selfish to set loving boundaries, to say no at times, and to make space to catch up and to rest. Even Martha needed to learn from Mary to sit at Jesus feet, and we need that same rhythm of serving and abiding. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We also lift up your physical discomfort with your allergies and eyes. Our bodies matter to God and He is the one who heals. Psalm 103:3 says who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases and 3 John 1:2 says Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. We ask Him to bring relief and healing to you.

We pray together now for you. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thankful that we can approach Your throne of grace through Him alone. We lift up this dear one to You who feels misunderstood and is questioning themselves and feeling snappy and frustrated. Lord, quiet their heart with Your presence, remind them that You know them fully and love them completely, and give them peace that passes all understanding to guard their heart and mind. Give them wisdom to understand others and to be understood, grace to speak with patience and love, and strength to control their temper and to respond with gentleness. We ask You to touch their eyes and bring healing and relief from these allergies, to restore comfort and health according to Your will. We ask You to lift the heavy load they carry from always helping others, teach them how to serve with healthy boundaries, to steward their time and responsibilities well, and to find rest in You. Help them to catch up on what has fallen behind and to not be overwhelmed, casting all their worries on You because You care for them, 1 Peter 5:7. Fill them with Your joy and refresh their soul. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name, and we trust You to work all things for good for those who love You. Amen.

We hear how worn down you are feeling, misunderstood by people around you, snapping more easily than you want to, dealing with irritated eyes from allergies and falling behind because you have been carrying so much for others. That kind of frustration makes sense when you have had little space to catch your breath.

When we keep saying yes to everyone else, we can lose track of where our own responsibilities end and others begin. Feeling snappy and behind is often a signal that your energy and time have been stretched too far for too long, not a sign that something is wrong with you.

One small step that may help this week is to choose just one area to create a little margin. It could be letting one non urgent request wait, telling someone kindly that you need to finish your own tasks first, or setting aside a short block of time that is just for rest and catching up. It also helps to let one trusted person know you are feeling stretched so you are not holding it alone.

For the eye irritation you mentioned, we also encourage you to check in with a doctor or clinic for care, while we continue to pray for you.

Father, in Jesus name we bring our friend to You. You see the misunderstanding and the pressure and the tiredness. Grant clarity in conversations, wisdom to know when to say yes and when to say no, and rest for body and mind. Give relief for the allergy discomfort and help to catch up step by step. Keep our friend close to You and surrounded by Your care. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard, and I thank you for speaking so plainly about what weighs upon you. There are seasons when it seems that no one understands us, and we scarcely understand ourselves, and then the heart grows quick to be snappy and easily frustrated. To feel this and to confess it before the Lord is not a failure, but a truthful spirit. Let us daily ask the Lord to keep us in such a truthful spirit, admitting the truth both concerning ourselves and concerning Him, and telling Him just as it is, that we are perplexed, that we are irritable, that we do not feel as we ought.

He knows the weariness of the body as well as the burden of the soul. He sees the discomfort of your eyes and the trial of these allergies, and He marks how you have spent yourself in helping others until your own matters have fallen behind. When your heart is overwhelmed within you, He can lead you to the Rock that is higher than you are. You are not left to stand alone while men ride over your head, for underneath are the everlasting arms, and though you feel as if you have no strength left and are crushed as mire in the streets, those arms have not grown weary.

Do not be ashamed to come and tell the Lord that you feel snappy, that you feel misunderstood, that you feel behind and loaded down. If there seems to be no good feeling in you, tell Him so. He is tender toward such honesty. And in these low days, seek again to feed upon His Word, for there you may find on this side of heaven the breezes from the Celestial City and the spices of the Glory Land where Emmanuel reigns, to refresh a weary pilgrim.

I pray for you now, that the Lord Jesus Christ will give you clearness where there has been misunderstanding, gentleness where snappishness has risen, patience under frustration, and healing and ease for your eyes and body. May He give you wisdom to help others with love and yet to order your own stewardship aright, and grace to cast every care upon Him who cares for you. May He lift you up and bear you up by His strength, and keep you looking to Him till peace returns.

In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and Saviour, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing so honestly what you are carrying right now. It is hard when you feel misunderstood by everyone and you begin to wonder if the problem is with how you are hearing others or how they are hearing you. That confusion itself can leave you feeling on edge and quick to be snappy, and then frustration builds, especially when you are also dealing with physical discomfort from allergies in your eyes and feeling worn down from constantly helping others while your own tasks fall behind.

God sees all of this and He understands you fully even when people do not. He hears the frustration and the weariness and He cares about both your body and your soul. Scripture reminds us to cast all our cares on Him because He cares for us, and that when our hearts are overwhelmed we can call on Him to lead us to the rock that is higher than we are.

It is good that you recognize these feelings. Feeling snappy and frustrated does not mean you have failed, but it is a sign that you are overloaded and need some rest and renewal. Even the body needs what is sufficient and not more than it can bear, and the soul needs the same. It is not wrong to set wise limits on helping others so that you can also take care of what God has placed in your own hands. Loving your neighbor does include caring for yourself in a way that keeps you healthy and able to serve with patience and clarity.

In this season, consider a few simple steps before the Lord. Bring your confusion to Him first in prayer and ask Him for wisdom to see where misunderstanding is happening and for grace to speak and listen clearly. Give your body rest where you can, care for your eyes and your health, and allow yourself time to catch up without guilt. If you are able, talk calmly with one or two trusted people about how you are feeling, using gentle words about what you need, and give them a chance to share how they hear you as well.

I will pray for you now.

Father in heaven, thank You that You know this dear one fully and love them completely through Jesus Christ. I ask You to bring peace where there is confusion and to give clarity where there is misunderstanding. Calm the frustration and soften the feeling of being on edge, and grant patience and gentle answers in conversations. Touch the eyes and bring relief from the allergies and refresh the body with rest. Show how to help others with a willing heart while also keeping wise boundaries so that necessary work does not remain undone. Lead to quiet rest and renew strength, and let Your peace guard heart and mind. In Jesus name, amen.

Ok…we know that there's spiritual warfare, and the devil is the enemy. But there are also verses that look like God is "working with" the devil to achieve something. Like, the devil visited God to discuss Job, and God was like, sure, go after him. (Job was unaware of this going on) Then, the...
