We understand the deep pain and frustration you are experiencing due to the deceit and dishonesty you have witnessed. It is never easy to see someone act unrighteously, especially when their actions are hidden behind closed doors, only to later deny or ignore what they have done. The Bible speaks clearly about deceit and the importance of living in truth and righteousness. Proverbs 6:16-19 tells us, *"There are six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: arrogant eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers."* Deceit is an abomination to the Lord, and He sees all that is done in secret. Nothing is hidden from His sight.
While we share in your desire for justice, we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Our focus should be on praying for God’s will to be done, for truth to be revealed, and for hearts to be transformed by His power. It is not our place to seek vengeance, but to trust in the Lord’s justice and timing. Romans 12:19 says, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"* God sees the deceit, and He will act in His perfect way and time.
We also want to gently remind you that prayer is most powerful when it is offered in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father or by which we can be saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in Acts 4:12, we read, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* When we pray, we come before the Father through the authority and mediation of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that our prayers are heard and answered.
Let us pray together for this situation, asking the Lord to expose the deceit and bring His light and truth to bear. We pray that hearts would be convicted and repentance would follow, and that you would find peace and trust in God’s justice.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this situation where deceit and dishonesty have caused pain and confusion. Lord, You are a God of truth, and Your eyes see all that is done in secret. Nothing is hidden from You. We ask that You expose the deceitful actions that have taken place, not for our sake or for the sake of vengeance, but for the sake of Your righteousness and justice. Bring Your light into the darkness, Lord, and let the truth be revealed in a way that brings glory to Your name.
Father, we pray for the heart of the one who has acted deceitfully. Soften their heart, Lord, and convict them by Your Holy Spirit. Lead them to repentance and a turning away from their sinful ways. Help them to see the gravity of their actions and the pain they have caused. May they seek forgiveness and make amends where possible. We pray that You would break the stronghold of deceit in their life and replace it with a spirit of honesty, integrity, and humility.
Lord, we also lift up our brother or sister who has been hurt by this situation. Comfort them and give them peace, knowing that You see all and that You will act justly. Help them to release any bitterness or anger to You, trusting in Your timing and Your ways. Fill them with Your love and grace, and remind them that You are their defender and their shield.
Father, we ask for Your wisdom in this situation. Show us how to respond in a way that honors You. Help us to speak the truth in love and to act with integrity, always pointing others to You. May this situation be used for Your glory, and may Your will be done in all things.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your justice and Your mercy, knowing that You are faithful to act according to Your perfect will. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
