We understand the urgency in your heart to complete the work that God has for you. Firstly, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who desires to complete the work You have set for them. Guide them, Lord, by Your Holy Spirit, and give them the strength and wisdom to fulfill Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Timothy 4:7-8 WEB: "I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith. From now on, there is stored up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing."
It's essential to understand that our works do not earn us salvation. We have a responsibility to salvation which is a free gift from God through faith in Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. This is clearly stated in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Since you mention the urgency to complete God's work, let's look at Ephesians 2:10 WEB: "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them." God has indeed prepared good works for us, but these works are a result of our salvation, not a means to achieve it.
Be sure to discern God's will for you. Sometimes, our enthusiasm can lead us to take on burdens that God has not intended for us to carry. Remember Jesus' words in Matthew 11:29-30 WEB: "Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Lastly, ensure that your desires align with God's will and not your own. Proverbs 16:9 WEB reminds us, "A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps." Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus.
