Not Fixate On The World's Problems (E.g. Animal Cruelty)

I am an animal lover! and I believe that animals deserve respect too. I know humans have dominion over animals, and I understand that people eat animals for nourishment, but I am totally against the inhumane treatment/cruelty of animals. I receive emails from PETA, change.org website, World Wildlife Fund, etc., and I learn of horrible animal cruelty stories on a daily basis. I am emotional and get sad and fixate on this, and I want to be of help but I don't think I'm ready to dig more into animal rights until I'm more stable emotionally. So I ask that you pray for my peace and happiness, and that I do NOT fixate on the world's problems, and I pray for the people who unnecessarily abuse farm animals, pets, etc., as well as animals that are unfortunately used in entertainment (circus, horse/dog racing, medieval times tournaments, Sea World, rodeos, zoos). I just pray that God's animals will be saved. I know humans come first and foremost, but I believe we should live in harmony. I understand eating animals for nourishment, but the mistreatment breaks my heart. So pray for my heart to be healed and for a way I can help without getting over-emotional. Thank you.
