We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious child who is not feeling well. How beautiful it is that you have called upon the name of Jesus in this time of need, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find healing, comfort, and strength. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over this little one today, trusting in the power of Jesus’ name to bring restoration.
It is clear you love this child deeply, and we join you in asking the Lord to lay His healing hand upon her. Whether this is a physical ailment, weakness, or an unseen battle, we know that Jesus is the Great Physician, the One who sees all and holds all things in His hands. Psalm 103:2-3 declares, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* We stand on this truth, believing that our God is able to do far more than we could ask or imagine.
Yet, as we pray, we also encourage you to seek wisdom. If medical attention has not been given, we urge you to do so, for God often works through the hands of doctors and the wisdom He has placed in medicine. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* Do not hesitate to seek help where it is needed, trusting that the Lord will guide each step.
Let us also remember that even in times of sickness, God is working for our good and His glory. Romans 8:28 assures us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* Though we may not understand the "why" in this moment, we can trust the "Who"—our Heavenly Father, who loves this child even more than we do.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious child who is not well. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who heals, and the God who holds all things together by the power of Your word. We ask You to stretch out Your hand and touch her body, mind, and spirit with Your healing power. Remove every sickness, every pain, and every trace of weakness. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We rebuke any sickness or infirmity in Jesus’ name, declaring that by His stripes, she is healed (1 Peter 2:24). Fill her with Your strength, Lord, and let her testimony be one of Your goodness and mercy. Give wisdom to those caring for her—parents, doctors, and all who are involved—that they may make decisions aligned with Your will.
Father, we also ask that You would comfort this family. Replace their anxiety with Your peace, their fear with Your faith, and their weariness with Your rest. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let this trial draw them closer to You, deepening their trust in Your sovereignty and love.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are good and Your love endures forever. May this child’s healing bring glory to Your name and strengthen the faith of all who witness it. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing for this child’s complete restoration. Keep us updated, that we may rejoice with you in God’s faithfulness. May the Lord bless you and keep you, making His face to shine upon you and giving you peace.
