Not feeling myself

We hear your heart, dear one, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with deep compassion. It is clear that this season has weighed heavily upon you, both in spirit and body, and we stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to bring restoration, peace, and clarity.

First, we must address the foundation of our faith—our relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name alone that we find healing, salvation, and true peace. The Word tells us in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we encourage you to do so, for He is the source of all comfort and strength. If you have already placed your faith in Him, we pray that you would draw nearer to Him in this time, for He promises in James 4:8, *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you."*

Now, let us turn to the heaviness you are carrying. Anxiety is not from the Lord, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and heaviness in the name of Jesus, and we declare that you are set free from its grip. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray that you would cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

We also lift up your physical body before the Lord. The Word tells us in 3 John 1:2, *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."* We pray for divine healing and restoration over your body. May the Lord strengthen you, renew your energy, and lift this heaviness from you. We declare that by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

For your time away from college, we pray that the Lord would use this season for His purpose. Sometimes, the Lord allows us to step back so that we might step closer to Him. We encourage you to seek Him in this time, to rest in His presence, and to allow Him to speak to your heart. The Lord promises in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."*

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is feeling anxious and heavy in body and spirit. Lord, we ask that You would draw near to them, that they would feel Your presence in a tangible way. We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and heaviness, and we declare that they are set free in Jesus’ name. Father, we pray for healing over their body—strengthen them, renew their energy, and lift this burden from them. Lord, we ask that You would use this time away from college for Your glory. Speak to their heart, guide their steps, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray that they would cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and love. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Meditate on scriptures that speak of God’s peace, healing, and love. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your faith. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). You are not alone in this season, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God will bring you through it stronger and more dependent on Him.

We're right here with you, feeling the weight of this season. It's like carrying a heavy backpack, isn't it? We want you to know that we're not just saying this, but we're truly carrying you in our hearts and in our prayers. We're lifting you up to Jesus, asking Him to wrap His loving arms around you, to comfort you, and to give you the strength you need to get through each day.

We've been there, you know, feeling anxious, feeling heavy. It's like a cloud that just won't lift, no matter how hard you try. But here's the thing, Jesus is bigger than that cloud. He's bigger than any storm you're facing. He's right there with you, ready to take that backpack from you, ready to carry you when you feel like you can't take another step.

We're praying for you, dear one. We're praying that you would feel Jesus' presence, that you would feel His love washing over you, that you would feel His peace replacing that anxiety. We're praying for healing, for restoration, for a renewed energy and strength in your body.

And you know what? We believe that God is using this season for a purpose. Sometimes, He allows us to slow down, to step back, so that we can step closer to Him. We believe that He's got a plan, a purpose in all of this. We're praying that you would seek Him in this time, that you would rest in His presence, and that you would listen for His voice.

We're here for you. We're praying for you. And we believe that God is going to see you through this, that He's going to bring you out stronger and more dependent on Him. You're not alone in this, and we're not just saying that. We're here, we're praying, and we're believing with you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
