Beloved of All
Hello everyone I had no other choice but to resign from my job. The management plotted to have me fired. I did my best. I was given triple the workload of colleagues. degrading me. It was vile. I did what I could but in the end had to resign abruptly after filing a formal written but professional complaint. Now am jobless. Not because I’m a risk taker but because I needed to preserve my well being This wasn’t them being mean it was cruel especially when I was caring for a sick relative. They were heartless and merciless I couldn’t bear anymore. Father I feel so defeated after trying so hard to complete my work and be cooperative and those people smiled when they were harming me. Right now I cannot take in any work I just cannot. I am applying but I’m just not ready to work after all of that trauma. I’m willing to work but I can’t subject myself to depraved individuals. Father please forgive me. I ask in Jesus name that you heal my wounds and set me on the path to right employment.

We hear your pain and we grieve with you over the injustice and cruelty you endured, and we stand with you before the Father in Jesus' name to seek His healing and provision together.

What was done to you was wrong, and God sees it clearly. He saw you doing your best, carrying triple the workload while also caring for a sick relative, trying to be cooperative and professional even as you were degraded, and He saw the hearts of those who smiled while harming you. We take comfort that the Lord is just and merciful, and that no affliction escapes His notice. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3.

We want to encourage you that choosing to resign to preserve your well being after filing a professional complaint was not a failure and you do not need to ask forgiveness for protecting the health God gave you. The Lord does not call us to subject ourselves to abuse or to be crushed by depraved treatment. He invites us to rest when we are wounded. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. It is right and understandable that you feel defeated and traumatized and that you are not ready to immediately take on new work even while you are willing and applying. God understands that healing takes time, and we encourage you to give yourself that time in His presence, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7.

We also gently encourage you to guard your heart against bitterness, not because what happened was not evil, but because bitterness will wound you further. Scripture tells us Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. You do not need to carry the burden of making those people pay for their heartlessness, the Lord will deal justly with them in His way and time. We are called to forgive as we have been forgiven, to let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:31-32. Bring your anger and hurt honestly to God and ask Him to help you release them so you can be healed.

We thank you for coming to the Father in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. Your faith in calling on that name is precious and He hears you.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we lift up our dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You see the wounds left by this cruel and unjust workplace, the exhaustion from being given so much more than others, the humiliation, the trauma, and the grief of feeling defeated after trying so hard. Lord, we ask You to heal those wounds deeply and bind up this broken heart. Grant rest to this weary soul and restore strength and peace. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7, let that peace guard our friend now.

Father, forgive any guilt or shame that lingers, and remind this one that You do not condemn those who seek to steward their well being. Provide for every need in this season of joblessness, for You know we need work and daily bread, and You have promised thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. Open the door to the right employment in Your perfect timing, work that is honorable, where labor is respected and where this one can use the gifts You have given without being subjected to depravity. Give wisdom in each application and interview, and give rest until ready. We also lift up the sick relative being cared for, touch them with Your mercy and sustain the caregiver with grace. Help our friend to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6.

We ask You to turn what was meant for harm into good, to restore what was lost and to set these feet on a straight path to work that honors You. We trust You as our provider and healer and we thank You that You are near. In the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We were so sorry to read what you went through. Being given an impossible workload, treated cruelly while you were also caring for a sick relative, and then feeling pushed to resign after you tried to address it professionally would leave anyone feeling defeated and worn down. It makes sense that you needed to step away to protect your well being, and that you do not feel ready to jump straight into another demanding environment.

You asked for forgiveness, and we want to gently reassure you that choosing to preserve your health after trying so hard to be cooperative and do good work is not a failure in God's eyes. He sees both your effort and the hurt you carried.

Healing after this kind of experience takes time, and it is understandable that applying for jobs while you are still hurting feels heavy. One thing that helps many people in this in-between season is to give the days a little structure without pressuring yourself to be fully ready. You might set a short, contained window for applications a few days a week, and use the rest of the time to rest, care for your relative, and reconnect with people who know and support you. If the sense of trauma and exhaustion lingers, please consider talking with a trusted pastor or counselor and with your medical provider alongside prayer, so you are not carrying this alone.

Father, we lift our brother to You in Jesus name. You know how hard he tried and how deeply this has wounded him. Bring him rest, heal what feels torn, provide for his needs as he cares for his family, and in Your timing open the door to work where he is treated with dignity and respect. Amen.

Your words have been heard with deep sympathy and much prayer, and your sorrow is not hidden from the Lord who sees all that is done under the sun. To be pressed with triple labour while others bear little, to be degraded and cruelly handled while you were also bearing the burden of caring for a sick relative, and then to feel that those who harmed you could smile while doing it, is a wound that cuts very deep. It is no wonder that you feel defeated and that your spirit shrinks from subjecting itself again to the hands of depraved men. The Lord knows your frame and remembers that you are dust, and He does not despise the cry of a wounded heart.

You have done well to bring your complaint to Him rather than to charge Him foolishly. Of Job it is written, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. He tore his mantle and fell upon the ground and worshipped, and though his losses were overwhelming he kept right with God. You have laboured to be faithful and cooperative, and now in your distress you ask for forgiveness and for healing. Take comfort that healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction in Christ. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said first, Thy sins be forgiven thee, and pardon and healing were one. If you have come to Christ by faith, your sins are forgiven through His blood, and you need not carry a burden of condemnation for having stepped away to preserve your wellbeing when cruelty made the yoke unbearable.

There is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. It is written, The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only His fruit but His leaves are full of healing virtue. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and that healing virtue will work in you till soul and body are restored. Even now He is the great conduit Head from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below.

Remember also Job among the ashes. Jehovah revealed Himself to him, and Job saw that God must be right, and he retracted his pleadings and found childlike confidence again even when the Lord seemed to frown. And the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends, those same friends who had spoken harshly of him. So our longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery. Our sorrows shall have an end when God has gotten His end in them, which is to defeat the enemy, to refine His child, and to show His own faithfulness. As Job's glory was fresh in him at the first, and though it withered for a season, at the last the Lord gave him twice as much, so He is able to anoint you again with fresh oil and to renew your bow in your hand.

We will pray for you as you have asked in Jesus name.

O Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, look upon this Thy servant who is weary and wounded. Forgive all sin through the precious blood of Christ and speak peace to the conscience. Heal the wounds that cruel hands have made, bind up the broken heart, and let the healing leaves of the Tree of Life be laid upon every sore place. Give rest to the weary spirit that cannot yet take up labour, and in Thy time open the path to right employment where labour may be honest, and masters just, and the soul not defiled by cruelty. Provide for every need in this season of waiting, keep from unbelieving speeches, and teach childlike confidence in Thy holy will. Turn captivity into liberty, and let fresh oil be poured upon the head that has been bowed down. We ask this for Christ's sake, who is our healer and our portion. Amen.

Be of good courage. The Lord who bore Job through the fire is able to support you, and He will not leave you till He has perfected that which concerneth you.
