A Sea-Hurricane
Trust in God’s protection through life’s storms and let faith guide you to safety.
The Arrival of Autumn
Life’s fleeting beauty and chance demand we act now before opportunity fades forever.
Personal Consecration: “Quit Your Meanness.”
True joy comes from a life of integrity and repentance, so quit the habits that dishonor God and others.
We hear your heart in this and we are standing with you in prayer, asking God to bring you peace and clarity in this discomfort you are feeling about the person you mentioned. The Lord sees when we feel uneasy and He cares deeply about our hearts. Psalm 34:18 reminds us that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also take comfort in 2 Timothy 1:7 which says For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

We want to encourage you that feeling not comfortable is often the Lord giving you discernment to pay attention to boundaries and wisdom. God calls us to guard our hearts and to walk in wisdom and purity in all our relationships. If this discomfort is in a relationship or courtship, we encourage you to seek what honors God, for God designed relationships to lead toward godly marriage between a man and a woman when it is His will, and any courtship should be with a fellow believer with marriage as the goal and with clear boundaries that honor Him. Even in friendships, family, or work situations, it is right to set loving and firm boundaries, to seek counsel from mature believers or a pastor, and to bring everything to the Lord in prayer. Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently want to share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name in all you bring to God.

We pray together now for you. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the situation and the discomfort that is weighing on their heart, and You know the person they mentioned. We ask You to surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and to give them wisdom and discernment to know how to respond in a way that honors You. Grant them courage to set healthy boundaries, to speak truth in love, and to seek godly counsel. Protect them from any harm or pressure and guide their steps according to Your will. Help them to trust You more deeply and to rest in Your power, love and self-control. Draw them closer to Jesus and let them know Your presence and comfort in this time. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and hope, amen.

We encourage you to keep bringing this to the Lord daily, to stay in His Word, and to reach out to a trusted Christian counselor or pastor who can walk with you personally. We are continuing to pray that God will give you clear direction, safety, and His perfect peace as you trust in Him.

Thank you for telling us you are not feeling comfortable. We hear how unsettling that can be, and we are grateful you reached out for prayer.

That sense of discomfort matters. It can be a signal that you need space or a clearer line around what is okay for you and what is not. Healthy boundaries help us take care of our hearts and make choices freely, even while we care about others. It is okay to pause, to step away, or to say no when something does not sit right.

If it would help, try to notice gently what specifically feels uncomfortable, when it comes up, and what would help you feel safer. Writing those few thoughts down can make it easier to see next steps. It can also help to share them with one safe, trusted person in your life, a pastor, counselor, or mature friend who can listen and help you think through a simple, kind response, like stepping out of the situation or saying you need time before deciding.

We are praying for you and we will keep praying.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. You see this unease and You know the details we do not. Grant peace in place of anxiety, wisdom for each decision, and people nearby who will listen well and protect their dignity. Lead them step by step and keep them close to You. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your request has been heard, and we join you in bringing this discomfort before the Lord who sees and knows all that troubles the heart.

There is a peace which the world cannot give, and which circumstances cannot create. The prophet speaks of it, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." This is not a mere lull of anxiety or a blindness to danger, but a peace that flows like a river from the throne of God. It is a peace which God the Father gives, which Jesus Christ bought with His blood, and which the Holy Spirit works in the soul. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and where Christ is our peace, the conscience finds rest.

We are reminded that anxiety itself unfits us to meet difficulty, while a mind stayed upon Christ finds daylight even in midnight. Do not seek after peace first, but seek after Christ first, and peace will come next. True peace with God is the fountain, and peace in the conscience is the crystal stream which issues from it. False peace may say "peace, peace" where there is no peace, but the peace of God which passes all understanding is a blessing that brings no sorrow with it, and it leads the heart to desire holiness and to walk in His way.

Let us pray for you.

Our gracious God and Father, we thank You that You are the God of peace. We bring this dear one before You in their discomfort and ask that You would draw near. Grant a mind stayed upon Christ and a heart trusting in Him. Speak peace through the blood of Jesus, and give that perfect peace which You promise to those who trust You. Give wisdom to discern what is good and holy and true, and give courage to walk in the path that pleases You. Where there is restlessness, grant rest. Where there is burden, grant grace to bear sorrow with Christ and to do the will of Jesus, for this is rest. Keep this one in Your keeping, lead by Your Spirit, and conform the heart more and more to the image of Your Son, in whom alone is salvation and true peace. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our peace, who is our only hope. Amen.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will bless you with His peace and guide you into all that is for your good and His glory.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard and we are praying for you in this time of discomfort and unease. It is good that you have brought this burden into the light and asked for prayer, for God hears those who call upon Him with a sincere heart.

Scripture teaches that there are many kinds of conflict in this life, but the most serious is the war within the soul itself, when the heart is restless and divided. True peace is not simply the absence of outward trouble, but peace with God through Jesus Christ, and a quiet and peaceable life lived in all godliness and honesty. That peace guards the heart and makes way for love and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.

So we pray for you now.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You who knows every thought and every struggle. You see the discomfort that weighs on this heart. We ask that You grant comfort and calm, and that You pour out Your peace which passes all understanding. Lead this life into quietness and rest in You. Grant wisdom to discern Your good and holy will, and strength to walk in it with a clear conscience. Draw this soul nearer to Your Son Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation, and form in this life the beauty that does not fade, the holiness and purity that You desire. Give courage to seek Your Word, to seek godly counsel in the Church, and to follow the path that leads to life. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in Scripture, and to walk closely with faithful believers who can support you and help you pursue what is good and pleasing in His sight. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him in truth, and He is faithful to give peace to those who trust Him.
