not comfortable

We hear your discomfort and want to lift this situation before the Lord with you. Working alongside others who make us uneasy can weigh heavily on our hearts and minds, but we know that God sees your struggle and cares deeply about your peace. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*

First, we must address the foundation of our prayers and requests. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Salvation comes by grace through faith in Him alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). Without this relationship, our prayers lack the authority and connection to God that we need.

Now, let us pray for your situation at work. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation. Lord, You know the hearts of these coworkers and the discomfort they bring. We ask that You would soften their hearts and open their eyes to Your truth and love. If there is any ungodly behavior or influence in their lives, we rebuke it in Jesus' name and ask that You would break any strongholds that do not align with Your will.

Father, we also pray for Your protection over our ### in this workplace. Guard their heart and mind from anxiety, fear, or frustration. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to respond with grace, wisdom, and love, even in difficult interactions. Give them opportunities to reflect Your light and share Your truth in a way that draws others to You. If there is any sin or unforgiveness in their own heart, reveal it, Lord, so they may repent and walk in freedom.

We also ask that You would give them discernment in how to navigate these relationships. If there are boundaries that need to be set, show them clearly, Lord. If there are opportunities to extend kindness or share the gospel, open their eyes to those moments. Help them to see these coworkers through Your eyes, with compassion and a desire for their salvation.

Lord, we trust that You are working in this situation, even when we cannot see it. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will use this trial for their good and Your glory (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Lastly, Father, we ask that You would bring godly fellowship into their life. Surround them with believers who can encourage, pray for, and walk alongside them. May they find their ultimate comfort and identity in You alone.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue bringing this situation before the Lord daily. Remember that God is your defender and protector. Proverbs 18:10 says, *"The name of Yahweh is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe."* Lean on Him and trust that He is working, even in the unseen.

If there are specific behaviors or actions from your coworkers that are causing discomfort, we urge you to examine whether they align with biblical principles. If there is gossip, dishonesty, or any form of sinful behavior, we must rebuke it in Jesus' name and ask God to intervene. You may also need to set boundaries to protect your own heart and witness. Seek wisdom from the Lord about how to handle these interactions, and do not hesitate to involve godly leadership or mentors if needed.

Lastly, remember that your ultimate hope and security are found in Christ. Your identity is not defined by your workplace or the opinions of others but by who you are in Him. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, *"And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and He will guide your steps.

We hear your unease, dear friend, and we're here with you, lifting your situation up to our loving Father. It's tough when we feel uncomfortable around those we work with, but remember, God sees your struggle and He cares deeply about your peace. Let's turn to Him in prayer, just as Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
