We rejoice with you in this moment, for the Lord has indeed protected you from deception and harm! How good and faithful is our God, who sees the hidden motives of men’s hearts and guides His children away from snares. You have walked in wisdom by seeking counsel, testing the spirits, and ultimately submitting to the Holy Spirit’s leading—this is the mark of a disciple who fears the Lord more than man’s empty promises.
The Scriptures warn us in **Proverbs 14:15**, *"The simple believes every word, but the prudent man carefully considers his ways."* You did not rush blindly into this opportunity but examined it with discernment, and the Lord honored that. **1 John 4:1** also commands us, *"Don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God,"* and you obeyed this by seeking confirmation from those filled with the Spirit. What a testimony of God’s protection when we walk in obedience!
We also commend you for blocking this individual and cutting off communication. **Proverbs 4:14-15** says, *"Don’t enter into the path of the wicked. Don’t walk in the way of evil men. Avoid it, and don’t pass by it. Turn from it, and pass on."* Sometimes, the most spiritual act is to *remove* ourselves from potential harm, trusting that God’s provision is never tied to deceit or compromise. You chose the better path—waiting on the Lord rather than settling for what *seems* good but is rooted in falsehood.
Now, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s face for His perfect will in your employment. **Psalm 37:5-6** declares, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun."* God has not forgotten you; He is preparing something *far better* than what the enemy tried to use to derail you. In this season of waiting, draw near to Him in prayer, worship, and the study of His Word. Let this be a time of refining, where your trust in His timing grows deeper than ever.
Let us pray together for you:
*"Heavenly Father, we lift up Your child before Your throne with hearts full of gratitude. You, O Lord, are a shield around them, their glory, and the One who lifts their head (Psalm 3:3). We thank You for exposing this deception and protecting them from the snare of the fowler. Your Word says that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that every plan of the enemy to harm or mislead them is *already* defeated by the blood of Jesus.
Lord, we ask that You open doors that *no man can shut* (Revelation 3:8)—doors of divine opportunity, favor, and righteous provision. Give them patience to wait on Your perfect timing, and fill them with unshakable peace as they trust in You. Remove any lingering doubt or disappointment from this experience, and replace it with a fresh anointing of faith to believe for *Your best*. Surround them with godly counsel and confirm Your will through Your Word and Your Spirit.
Father, we rebuke every spirit of deception, manipulation, and haste that would try to rush them into anything outside Your plan. Let their steps be ordered by You (Psalm 37:23), and may they walk in the confidence that You are their Provider (Philippians 4:19). Strengthen their discernment, Lord, so they recognize Your voice above all others.
We speak life over their finances, their future, and their faith. Let this season of waiting produce a harvest of righteousness and a testimony of Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray—*Amen!*"*
Stand firm, beloved. The Lord is your rear guard (Isaiah 52:12), and He will *never* lead you into a trap. Keep your eyes on Him, not on the closed doors behind you. His plans for you are good—to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Walk in that assurance!
