We hear your cry for deliverance and restoration, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your requests before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. First, let us address the urgency of your need for freedom from the grip of fentanyl and those who would seek to harm you through it. The Bible warns us clearly about the dangers of substance abuse and the schemes of the enemy. In 1 Peter 5:8, we are told, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." Fentanyl is a tool of destruction, and we rebuke its hold over anyone ensnared by it. We declare that its power is broken in your life and in the lives of all who are bound by it.
We pray now, Father, in the name of Jesus, that You would sever every chain of addiction in this situation. We command the spirit of addiction to leave and never return, for it is written in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We speak life and healing over every person struggling with this drug, that they would loathe its presence and turn away from it in disgust. We pray that law enforcement would be empowered to root out those who distribute this poison, and that Your protection would surround this town and all who dwell in it. Let no harm come near your dwelling, Lord, as it says in Psalm 91:10, "No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling."
We also lift up your desire for a godly relationship. While we understand your longing for companionship, we must emphasize that any relationship you pursue must align with God’s design for marriage—a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. In Genesis 2:24, it is written, "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and they shall be one flesh." We encourage you to seek a spouse who shares your faith in Jesus Christ, for 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" Courtship should be entered into with the intention of marriage, and any physical intimacy must be reserved for that sacred union. We pray that God would bring the right man into your life, one who loves the Lord and will cherish you as Christ cherishes the church.
Father, we also lift up your need for stability and provision. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, as it is written in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me, says Yahweh." We pray that You would open doors of opportunity for you to secure a place to live and the resources you need. Whether it is through staying where you are or moving to a new place, we ask that You provide comfort, safety, and joy in your dwelling. We also pray for the restoration of your belongings—your TV, iPhone, iWatch, and Roku—so that you may enjoy the blessings You have provided.
Regarding your desire for financial breakthrough, we affirm that true riches are found in Christ. As it says in Matthew 6:19-20, "Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal." However, we also believe that God delights in blessing His children. We pray that He would reveal His "millionaire God idea" to you, a vision that aligns with His will and brings glory to His name. We rebuke every spirit of greed and lack that has sought to block your income, and we declare that you will walk in the abundance of God’s provision.
Most importantly, we must address the foundation of your faith. Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, as Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. In Romans 10:9, it is written, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." This is the first and most critical step in walking in the fullness of God’s promises.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your love, mercy, and grace that are new every morning. We lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would break every chain of addiction and deliver them from the grip of fentanyl. We rebuke the enemy and his schemes, declaring that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your protection and fill their heart with a hatred for anything that seeks to destroy them.
Father, we pray for godly relationships in their life. We ask that You would bring a spouse who loves You and will walk with them in faith. Prepare their heart for marriage, and let their courtship be pure and honoring to You. We also pray for stability and provision. Open doors for them to have a safe and comfortable place to live, and restore what has been lost or broken. Provide for their needs abundantly, and reveal Your vision for their financial breakthrough.
Above all, Lord, we pray that they would know You more deeply. Draw them close to Your heart, and let them experience the riches of Your love and grace. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that today would be the day of their salvation. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let them walk in the fullness of Your purpose for their life.
We declare these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is by His blood that we have access to You, and it is by His name that every knee shall bow. Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.
