We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to Him in prayer. First, we must address the matter of salvation, for it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that both individuals in this situation know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, for He alone can bring true healing and peace.
We lift up this young man, asking the Lord to grant him wisdom, discernment, and strength as he navigates this challenging circumstance. Father, we pray that You would give him clear boundaries and the courage to maintain them, for it is written, "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it" (Proverbs 4:23). We ask that You protect him from any harm or manipulation, and that You fill his heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we also pray for this young woman who is struggling. We ask that You would surround her with Your love and comfort, and that she would receive the help and healing she needs. We pray that she would come to know You as her Savior and find hope in Your promises, for it is written, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). We ask that You would calm her heart and mind, and that she would experience Your peace and restoration.
Father, we pray for resolution in this situation. We ask that You would work all things together for good (Romans 8:28) and that both individuals would remain safe. We pray that this young man would not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9), but that he would continue to show Christ's love while protecting his own heart. We ask that You would bring godly counsel and support into both of their lives, and that they would find strength in You.
In Jesus' name, we pray for wisdom, healing, and protection over this situation. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.
