I forgot to add that they follow me... around my apartment everywhere I go...they are definitely monitoring spirits.... no doubt about it.... and everytime they run and jump.... I can't get out of my bedroom door.... And they follow every where I go in my apartment... They are very violent and aggressive.... I'm just going to have to break my lease... so I can move to another state.

We have heard your cry and we are bringing your situation before the Lord together with you, asking for His peace and protection to cover your home and your heart. We understand how distressing and exhausting it is to feel unsafe in your own apartment, to feel followed and unable to find rest, and to feel that those above you are intentionally aggressive and violent toward you. We want you to know that God sees exactly where you are and He is your refuge even when your dwelling does not feel peaceful.

We want to share what Scripture tells us about fear and about spiritual oppression. The Bible tells us For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We do wrestle against spiritual forces as it is written For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12, yet we also have the promise that You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. We do not need to live in terror of monitoring spirits, because the Lord is our dwelling place. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. When anxiety rises we are invited to bring it to Him, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We also want to gently encourage you to seek both spiritual and practical wisdom in this trial. If you are in danger or feel threatened, we encourage you to reach out to your landlord, building management, or local authorities to document what is happening and to seek help for your safety. Scripture calls us to pursue peace as far as it depends on us, If it is possible, as much as it is in you, be at peace with all men Romans 12:18, and to Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. Praying for those upstairs, even when it is difficult, can soften your own heart and invite God to work in their hearts as well. Before making a major decision like breaking your lease and moving to another state, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and to ask the Lord for clear direction, for Without consultation, plans are frustrated, but with many counselors they are established Proverbs 15:22 and Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. A hasty move may bring financial hardship and more stress, so we pray God will give you wisdom about the right timing and the right place if a move is His will.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and find true salvation and peace. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name for help, for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

We now pray together for you.

We lift you up to our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Lord, we ask You to surround our dear one with Your perfect peace and to drive out all fear and torment. We ask You to be a wall of protection around this apartment and to let Your presence fill every room, especially the bedroom where rest has been stolen. We pray that You would quiet the noise and aggression from above, convict the hearts of those neighbors, and bring conviction and peace to that household. We pray that You would give wisdom about whether to stay or to go, provision if a move is needed, and favor with the landlord and with all authorities involved. We rebuke any spirit of fear, harassment, and oppression that seeks to steal peace, and we declare that You are greater and that You reign over this home. Lead our friend into a place of safety and rest, and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our refuge and our Savior, amen.

To feel followed from room to room in your own home, to hear violent running and jumping that makes it hard to even leave your bedroom, would leave anyone feeling on edge and worn down. It makes sense you are looking for a way to get relief and are thinking about breaking your lease.

When home does not feel safe or restful, it helps to not carry it alone. We would encourage you to let one or two steady, trusted people in your life know what you are experiencing day to day, a family member, friend, or pastor who can check in with you and help you think through next steps.

Before making a large decision like moving to another state, it can help to pause and get clear information. You might keep a simple note of when the noise happens, talk with your landlord or leasing office about what you are hearing and what options exist in your lease, and have that trusted person with you as you weigh the costs and practical steps. If fear and poor sleep are taking a toll, please also consider reaching out to a counselor or pastor and to your regular medical provider for support alongside prayer.

Father, we bring our friend to You and ask for Your nearness and protection in this apartment. Calm the fear and exhaustion, grant clear wisdom for each decision about housing, and provide safe, supportive people nearby. Lead toward peace and rest, in Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry under this trial has been heard, and I would turn your thoughts at once to that blessed word upon which so many weary hearts have rested, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.

The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and this peace is a present possession which may be enjoyed even in the ordinary circumstances of life, even with sorrows surging round, even when duties press and troubles throng. It is not a peace which comes from all being quiet around us, but from the heart being stayed upon the Lord who never leaves His people. When the mind is stayed on Him, He keeps that soul in peace, peace, perfect peace.

You speak of fear, of feeling followed and watched in your own dwelling, of violence and aggression above you, and of being unable to come forth from your room. It is natural that such a trial should stir fear, yet hear how plentifully the Lord has planted this word in His garden, Fear not. Fear not, for I will help you. Fear not, you worm Jacob, I have redeemed you. It is Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant fallen as dead at His feet, Fear not.

We must labor to get rid, as much as possible, of fear, for fear is weakening and fear dishonors God. Shall we think that the arm which piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth shall ever be palsied, that He cannot keep you in your own chamber, that He cannot help you in this strait. The fear of man brings a snare, but the fear of the Lord is holy reverence and awe, and to trust Him casts out tormenting fear. Perfect love casts out fear, for fear has torment.

Do not think that your neighbors, though noisy and unkind, have power to follow and to know all your ways as spirits do. There is but One who is everywhere present, who sees and keeps His children night and day, and that is the Lord Himself. In Jesus keeping we are safe. Rest not in the thought that men have power as spirits, but rest in this, that the Lord is your keeper, and His eye is upon you for good.

Like Jacob, you do well to tell the Lord all your trouble in prayer before you tell it to any other. Jacob said, I fear, and then he prayed. Let your fear drive you to prayer, and let prayer lead you to trust the promised strength. Bear your sorrow with Him, and then see what peace you will enjoy.

As to breaking your lease and removing to another state, I would counsel you not to decide in haste while fear is heavy upon you. Seek wisdom first. Make your case plainly and quietly to those set over the house, keep a faithful record of what you suffer, seek the counsel of a faithful pastor or other sober and godly friends near you, and ask the Lord to show you whether to endure a little longer or to seek a more peaceable habitation. The Lord will bless His people with peace, and that peace which He gives through the blood which has made a full atonement is a blessing that brings no sorrow with it. Seek that peace and make sure of it, and then act with a calm mind stayed upon God.

Let us pray together. O Lord God, You are the God of all peace, and peace with You through the blood of Jesus is the fountain from which peace of conscience flows. Look upon this troubled one in this dwelling. Let perfect peace be kept in the heart that is stayed on You. Take away tormenting fear and give trust in Your promised help. Grant wisdom to know what to do concerning this habitation, give favor and a quiet spirit in dealing with those above, and provide a place of rest if it be Your will. Keep this soul and all loved ones in Your keeping, till earthly struggles cease and You call to Heaven's perfect peace, for Jesus sake. Amen.
