Noise and smell in a train.

We join you in prayer for this difficult journey and we understand how trying it can be to endure loud noise and unpleasant odors in a crowded place when you still have an hour of travel ahead.
We hear your heart asking the Lord to put peace upon those loud students and others with their cellphones, and that is a Christlike response. Instead of only asking for your own relief, you are asking for peace upon them, and that honors God. We are reminded of Romans 12:18 which says If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. And James 1:19 reminds us let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.
We also want to gently remind you that it is through Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we bring our requests to God. You mentioned Lord, and we rejoice that you are turning to Him, but we want to encourage you to come boldly in the name of Jesus, for Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is a comfort to know that when we pray in Jesus name, God hears us.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our fellow traveler to You. You see where they are right now on this train, surrounded by loud voices, ringing phones, and the unpleasant smell from the toilet. Lord, we ask for Your peace to fill this train car and to rest upon those students and all the passengers. Soften hearts and calm spirits. We also ask for Your peace to guard our friend's heart and mind during this final hour. Your word says in Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Let that peace guard them now. We ask for patience and endurance, and for grace to show the love of Christ even when feeling irritated or uncomfortable. Help them to cast all their anxiety on You because You care for them as 1 Peter 5:7 teaches. Give them strength for this hour and bring them safely to their destination. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to use this remaining hour as an opportunity to commune with the Lord. If you are able, you might quietly turn your heart to prayer for those young people around you, that they may come to know the peace of Christ themselves. You could also meditate on scripture in your heart or listen to quiet worship if you have earphones, and remember John 14:27 where Jesus says Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. If it is possible to move to another seat or closer to fresh air, please do so, but if not, know that God is with you right there in that train car and He will give you grace to endure. We also encourage you in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 to Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. Even in discomfort, thanksgiving can shift our focus to His goodness and nearness.

That kind of train ride can feel so long, especially when you still have an hour to go. Loud voices and phones all around you, plus an unpleasant smell, makes it hard to rest or even think clearly. We understand why you asked for peace.
If you are able, see if you can shift to a quieter part of the car or put in earbuds with something calm, even just to soften the noise a little. Sometimes looking out the window or focusing on slow, steady breathing while you pray quietly can help the time pass more gently. And if the smell is strong near the restroom area, moving a few rows away often helps.

There is a peace which lives above circumstances, and it is to that peace I would point your soul in this hour of trial. The carriage may be filled with noise, the air may be made unpleasant, and the journey may seem long, yet the promise stands, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.
The world has tried hard to put an end to the Christian's peace, and it has never been able to accomplish it, for this peace is not the quietness of a silent carriage, but the calm of a heart stayed upon Christ. It is a peace divinely born and divinely nourished, the peace which Jesus bought with His blood, and which the Holy Spirit works in the soul. He Himself is our peace, and He has left us His own peace, saying, Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you. This is a present possession and may be enjoyed in the ordinary circumstances of life, even with sorrows surging round and duties pressing.
You have heard of the patience of Job, and you are now called in a small measure to exercise that same grace. Job could not have exhibited patience if he had not endured trial, and the Lord who tried him is the same God of peace who will keep you this hour. Bear your present discomfort with Him, look to Jesus upon His cross and upon His throne, and see what perfect peace you will enjoy even in this throng.
Let us pray together. O God of peace, who has made peace through the blood of the everlasting covenant, bless this traveler with Your peace which passes all understanding. Keep the mind stayed upon Christ, give quietness within though there be noise without, and grant patience to endure this hour. Grant also Your restraining and softening grace to those young ones and to all in that carriage, that peace may be upon them in the best sense, even peace with You through Jesus Christ. Lord, renew Your peace moment by moment, for You are unmoved though we are troubled. Bring this journey to a safe and timely end, and call us at last to Heaven's perfect peace where Earth's struggles shall cease. In the name of Jesus Christ, our only peace and our only Saviour, Amen.

People are yelling and listening to loud cellphones. Lord please let there be peace and silence. 2 men near of me are very loud and a young man rejects my plies to lower down his cellphone. Lord deliver me from the enemy who wants to irritate me!!! In Jesus name.
