No Sleep or Else

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I made a mistake, I am sorry, just hope my mum ### doesn’t decide to try to book VIPTEACHER classes (that she needs my help with) on Sundays, and hope with the lessons she has on Sundays on ### she doesn’t force me to stay home from church. She knows ###, as far as I know. I know I made a mistake, but I don’t deserve to miss church over that, anything else, like no sleep or little sleep, I rather be forced with that, as usual. The ironic thing is that I was trying to find a way to get more sleep, but it badly backfired, I just must live with no sleep or little sleep for as long as my mum is working with VIPTEACHER and one private student called ###. I am stupid. I could have known that God doesn’t want me to sleep, he wants me to work until I no longer can, I just hope I don’t snap and do another stupid thing, especially during the PMS times of the month, when I am at my worst. I just hope my period is late, and hopefully on a week when there is almost nothing.

We hear your distress and the weight of exhaustion you carry, both physically and spiritually. First, let us affirm that God does not delight in your suffering or exhaustion. Scripture tells us, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). The Lord invites you to rest in Him, not to be crushed under the weight of endless labor. Your worth is not measured by your productivity or ability to endure sleeplessness—it is found in Christ alone.

You mention missing church, and this is a serious concern. The Lord commands us, *"Don’t forsake assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhort one another, especially as you see the Day approaching"* (Hebrews 10:25). Church is not just a gathering; it is a vital part of your spiritual nourishment, fellowship, and accountability. Your mother’s demands, while perhaps well-intentioned, should not supersede your obedience to God’s call to worship Him in community. We must gently but firmly rebuke any attempt to keep you from the body of Christ. You are not wrong for desiring to prioritize church—this is a righteous desire.

You also express fear of "snapping" during difficult times, particularly during PMS. We want to remind you that your emotions and struggles are valid, but they do not define you. The enemy may whisper lies that you are "stupid" or unworthy, but Scripture declares, *"There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1). You are not alone in your weakness—God’s strength is made perfect in it (2 Corinthians 12:9). If you feel overwhelmed, we encourage you to seek godly counsel, perhaps from a trusted pastor or mature believer, to help you navigate these challenges with wisdom and grace.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister who is weary and heavy-laden. Lord, You see her exhaustion, her fear, and her desire to honor You. We ask that You grant her rest—not just physical rest, but the deep peace that comes from trusting in You. Strengthen her body, mind, and spirit, and help her to cast her anxieties on You, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7).

Father, we pray for her relationship with her mother. Give her wisdom to communicate her needs with love and respect, and soften her mother’s heart to understand the importance of church and rest. Guard her from resentment and bitterness, and help her to honor her mother without compromising her devotion to You.

Lord, we also ask for Your protection over her emotions, especially during times of hormonal imbalance. Remind her that her identity is in Christ, not in her struggles. Fill her with Your peace and help her to lean on You when she feels weak.

Finally, Father, we rebuke any lies from the enemy that seek to condemn her. Remind her that she is Your beloved child, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and that nothing can separate her from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). Give her the strength to walk in obedience and the grace to repent when she stumbles.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who gives true rest and redemption. Amen.

Oh, dear friend, we've been thinking about you and your situation. We understand the struggle you're going through, the exhaustion, the worry about missing church, and the fear of snapping during difficult times. We want you to know that you're not alone, and we're here for you.

First, let's remind ourselves of God's love for us. He sees you, He knows your struggles, and He cares deeply. In Matthew 11:28, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." He's not telling you to bear this burden alone. He wants you to come to Him, to trust in Him, and to find rest in Him.

Now, about church, we understand your concern. It's so important to gather with fellow believers, to worship together, and to be encouraged and challenged in our faith. We need to gently but firmly communicate to your mum the importance of church in our lives. Maybe you could try talking to her about it, explaining how you feel, and asking for her understanding.

And listen, it's okay to feel overwhelmed, especially during PMS. It's a part of life, and God understands. But remember, your emotions don't define you. You are a child of God, loved and cherished by Him. When you feel weak, lean on Him. He's there for you.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today on behalf of our ###. Lord, we ask for Your strength and Your peace to fill her. Help her to find rest in You, to trust in You, and to cast her cares upon You. Help her to communicate with her mum, to honor her, but also to stand firm in her commitment to church. Lord, guard her emotions, especially during difficult times. Remind her of Your love, of her identity in Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us by sharing your heart and allowing us to stand with you in prayer these past few days. We have lifted up your concerns to our Heavenly Father, praying specifically for peace in your home, wisdom in your decisions, and protection over your time of worship. We asked the Lord to soften your mother’s heart so that Sunday remains a day set apart for Him, and we prayed for strength and grace as you navigate this season of little sleep and high demands.

If God has already moved in your situation—if your mother has chosen not to book those VIPTEACHER classes on Sundays, or if you’ve been able to attend church without hindrance—we would love to hear your praise report. Sharing how God has answered will encourage others and glorify His name. On the other hand, if the burden still feels heavy and the struggle persists, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are here to continue standing with you, lifting your needs before the throne of grace.

We also pray for your emotional and physical well-being, especially during the times when you feel most vulnerable. May the Lord grant you patience, clarity, and a deep sense of His presence even in exhaustion. Remember, you are not defined by your mistakes, but by the love and redemption of Jesus Christ. Lean on Him, and let His strength be made perfect in your weakness.

May God bless you abundantly as you seek Him, and may you feel His peace that surpasses all understanding guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in Jesus’ name.
