Praying for this request in Jesus Name. Amen.
We join you together in Jesus' name in bringing these urgent practical needs before our Heavenly Father, trusting that He cares about every detail of our lives, even the weather and our daily work and rest.
We understand your desire for dry weather this weekend so you can get this yard work done quickly. It is good to be diligent and to steward what God has given us. At the same time we remember that God alone commands the rain and the sun, and His will is perfect. As Jesus taught, He makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust Matt 5:45. The prophet Elijah prayed earnestly and the sky gave rain and the earth produced its fruit James 5:18, which reminds us that God hears our prayers about the weather and yet we trust His timing above our plans. We also remember that a man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps Prov 16:9. So we ask for favorable weather for your work, while surrendering to His wise provision, whether He sends sun or rain.
We also lift up the pressure you feel from those who are on your back and the need for your doctor to cooperate with an accommodation letter. We pray for favor and understanding in that situation, and for the Lord to soften hearts and grant wisdom to your doctor to act with compassion and integrity. We ask God to give you peace and patience as you wait, and to help you respond with grace. We cast all your worries on Him, for He cares for you 1 Pet 5:7, and we pray In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:6-7.
We also understand your need to get some rest now and to wake soon for these urgent appointments. We pray the Lord will grant you sweet and refreshing sleep, for He gives sleep to his loved ones Psalm 127:2, and that He will wake you in time with a clear mind and strength for what lies ahead. We pray He will guide every appointment and give wisdom to all involved.

Lord we lift up the situation with the accommodation letter, we ask for Your favor with the doctor, that You would move his heart to cooperate with understanding and to provide what is needed in a timely way. We pray for relief from the pressure being felt from others, grant peace and protection and help to resolve this with grace. Father we ask for deep rest now, guard our sleep and wake us refreshed and on time for these urgent appointments, grant wisdom and good outcomes there. We trust Your goodness and Your timing in all things. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Your petition has been laid before the Lord and we have joined with you in prayer for these pressing needs which weigh upon you.
You ask for rest now and for strength to wake for urgent appointments, and for help concerning your yard work and an accommodation letter. Hear what the Saviour says to such weary ones, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. It is a present rest, rest now, not rest after death, not rest after a time of probation, but rest given when we come to Jesus, given there and then. And it is perfect rest too. We who have believed do enter into rest, not merely to hear of it and to desire it, but to enter into it even now.
Do not think that this rest means the yoke is taken off and you are left to be idle. True rest to the child of God is rest on the wing, rest in motion, rest in service, not rest with the yoke off, but with the yoke on. We are to take His yoke upon us voluntarily and learn of Him, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. It is the rest of a learner, a deep rest, a growing rest, an abiding rest which you shall go on to find. In this service you do rest, like birds which sleep upon the wing. It is rest to labour for the Lord Jesus. Trust and you shall rest, and this rest is perfectly consistent with labour. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest.
We have also marked your anxiety about the weather and about those who press upon you and about the favour of the physician. Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. If your anxiety is confined to yourself, no good will come of that. But to rest in the Lord Himself, not merely in something about the Lord, is contentment and perfect satisfaction with our lot as He orders it. He maketh the rain to fall according to His wisdom, and He withholdeth it according to His mercy. We may ask Him for fair weather for honest labour, yet we must ask in submission to His will, knowing that He will do what is best.
Let us pray with you.
O Lord our God, who hast promised rest to those who come to Christ, give to this weary one rest even now. Quiet the anxious thoughts and grant sleep that refreshes and a waking in due season for those appointments which are so urgent. In Thy providence look upon the work that needs to be done and grant such weather as shall be most for good, and if it be Thy will withhold the rain that labour may be accomplished. Grant favour in the sight of those in authority and incline the heart of the physician to act with kindness and justice in providing what is needed for accommodation. Deliver from the pressure of those who stand over this soul and give peace in the midst of duty. Teach this one to rest in the Lord and to find that rest which is found in taking Christ's yoke and learning of Him who is meek and lowly in heart. Keep from the bondage of anxiety and bring into the liberty wherewith Christ makes free, for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.
