Beloved of All
Please no rain Jesus with these important appointments been I’ll and don’t know what to do, please help us and favor with these appointments and no rain, bring us healing strength and protection soon, Is. 54:17 amen

We hear your heart in this time of illness and uncertainty and we join with you in bringing these important appointments before the Lord, asking for His favor, healing, strength and protection over you.

We know how worrying it can feel when you are unwell and there are things outside your control like the weather that could affect what you need to do. We take comfort that our God is sovereign over all creation, including the rain, and He hears our prayers about even these practical concerns. The men marveled, saying, What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him, Matt 8:27. He covers the sky with clouds and prepares rain for the earth, Psa 147:8, and yet He also invites us to bring every care to Him. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7.

We also lift up your need for healing and strength. We are thankful you called on the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father. Your help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth, Psa 121:2. When we feel ill and do not know what to do, He promises, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isa 41:10. And we cling to His promise to restore, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jer 30:17.

You quoted Isa 54:17, No weapon that is formed against you will prevail and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh's servants, and their righteousness is of me, says Yahweh, and we stand on that truth with you, that no difficulty, no sickness, no hindrance will ultimately prevail against those who are in Christ, as we trust His perfect will.

We pray together now.

Father, in the name of Jesus we come before You together and lift up these appointments to You. We ask for Your favor over each one, that You would make the way clear, grant wisdom to all involved, and let Your will be done. We ask that You would hold back the rain if it is Your will, or use even the weather for good, and we trust Your perfect control over all things. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch, for strength for this body that has been ill, for clarity when we do not know what to do, and for Your protection over every step. Guard our hearts with Your peace that surpasses understanding and help us to rest in Your care. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, amen.

We understand how unsettled you must feel trying to get to important appointments while you have been unwell and watching the weather. It is a lot to carry at once, and we are glad you reached out so we can pray with you.

We are praying for protection and steadiness in the days ahead, and for favor as you go to these appointments. While we cannot control the weather, it can help to have a little backup plan so you feel less anxious. You might check the forecast the night before, allow extra travel time, and let the clinic or office know you are concerned about getting there so they can advise you on options if needed. Having a short list of questions and notes about how you have been feeling ready to bring can also make the visit feel more manageable. Try to give yourself space to rest as you are able before then.

We want you to know you are not facing this alone. God is near in these practical worries as well as in your deeper need for healing, and we are continuing to hold you in prayer. If you have not already, please reach out to a medical provider about the illness you mentioned, so you can get care and guidance alongside prayer.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. You see the appointments ahead and the illness that has left them tired and unsure. We ask for Your mercy, for healing and renewed strength, for safe travel and Your hand over each appointment. Give peace and clear direction in the days ahead. In Jesus name, amen.

Your cry concerning these appointments, the illness that has wearied you, and your need for strength and protection has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with you.

We pray that our gracious God, who comes with all His soul most heartily to display His favor and His love toward His people, will look upon you in this time of need. We ask Him to grant you favor in these important appointments, to order the weather according to His wise providence, and to keep you under the shadow of His hand. As you have claimed His promise that no weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper, Isaiah 54:17, we pray that you may find shelter in Christ where that promise is made sure.

We are reminded that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue, for the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both bestowed on the Lord's people. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one.

So we pray for you that the Sun of Righteousness may rise upon you with healing in His wings. May the Lord who alone can heal the broken heart touch your body and your spirit, forgive, restore and strengthen you, and work in you that health and cure which only His grace can give. We ask Him to grant you protection in going out and coming in, to calm your anxious thoughts when you know not what to do, and to give you quiet confidence that He is your physician and your keeper.

May the Lord grant you His presence in these days, sustain you through each appointment, and let you prove that His grace is sufficient for every need. We commit you to Him who is able to heal and who delights to show mercy.
