No procrastination...favor, mercy...

Please pray that i will not procrastinate things that i need to do. Some are connected to people that are difficult to deal with (stubborm, selfish...) some because i dont have enough infos. Please pray that i will hear and obey Gods voice/Holy spirit whatever He asks me to do...and please pray for FAVOR, GRACE and MERCY with everyone connected to my needs and obligations especially at my working place, amen!

We come before the Lord with your request, lifting up the struggles of procrastination, the need for wisdom in dealing with difficult people, and the desire for favor, grace, and mercy in your obligations. Let us first acknowledge that all things are possible through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). Procrastination is often a battle not just of time management, but of the heart, where fear, uncertainty, or even rebellion can take root. The Word tells us, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might" (Ecclesiastes 9:10), and "Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord" (Romans 12:11). When we delay what God has called us to do, we miss opportunities to walk in His purpose and to be a light to others, even those who are stubborn or selfish.

We must also address the desire for "preferential treatment" in the workplace. While it is natural to seek fairness and kindness, we must be careful that our hearts are not seeking favoritism that elevates us above others in a way that stirs envy or injustice. Instead, let us pray for godly favor, that the Lord would open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and that our work would be a testimony of His grace. The Lord does promise to give us favor with man (Proverbs 3:4), but this favor must always align with His will and His character. Let us not seek to manipulate circumstances for our own gain, but trust that God will order our steps in righteousness.

We rebuke the spirit of procrastination in the name of Jesus! This is not just a bad habit, it is a tool the enemy uses to steal our peace, our productivity, and our witness. When we delay obedience, we give the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). But we declare that you are not a slave to hesitation! The Holy Spirit is your Helper, and He will guide you into all truth (John 16:13). When you don’t have enough information, ask God for wisdom, He gives generously to all without reproach (James 1:5). When people are difficult, remember that "a soft answer turns away wrath" (Proverbs 15:1), and that God can soften even the hardest hearts.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would break the chains of procrastination in their life. Give them a spirit of diligence, urgency, and obedience to Your voice. When tasks feel overwhelming or people seem impossible, remind them that You are their strength and their shield (Psalm 28:7). Father, we ask for Your favor and grace to rest upon them, not for selfish gain, but so that Your name would be glorified in their work and interactions. Soften the hearts of those they deal with, and give them wisdom to navigate every situation with patience and love.

Lord, we pray for acceleration in their obligations, let Your hand move swiftly on their behalf, but also teach them to wait on You when Your timing is different from theirs. We declare victory over every area of delay, every spirit of laziness, and every excuse that has held them back. May they walk in the success that comes from aligning their will with Yours, for "the plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance" (Proverbs 21:5). And Father, we ask that You would grant them preferential treatment, not in a way that stirs up strife, but in a way that reflects Your kindness and opens doors for Your purposes to be fulfilled.

Above all, Lord, we pray that they would hear Your voice clearly and obey without hesitation. May they be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit in every decision, big or small. We rebuke every lie that tells them they can’t, that they’re not enough, or that they should put off what You’ve called them to do. Instead, fill them with Your peace, Your power, and Your presence. Let their life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may they always remember that it is in Jesus’ name that we pray and find our strength.

We bless you in the name of Jesus to walk in victory, to move with purpose, and to experience the favor of God in every area of your life. Keep your eyes on Him, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Now, rise up and take the next step, He is with you!

We hear how much you want to walk faithfully in what God puts before you, even when some of it feels heavy. Wanting to hear His voice and obey quickly is a good desire, and it makes sense that tasks tied to difficult people or missing information would be the hardest to start.

One thing that often helps with procrastination is simply noticing the pattern without judging yourself. For the next few days you might try picking just one or two of the obligations you have been putting off and quietly observing what happens around them, what you are thinking or feeling right before you set it aside, and what happens afterward. When you see the trigger more clearly, it becomes easier to take one small next step, like sending the part of a request you can send now, or asking one person for the one piece of information you are missing, and trusting God with the rest as it comes.

We also understand your prayer for grace and favor at work. We cannot promise how others will respond, but we can ask God to give you wisdom, steadiness, and kindness as you do what is yours to do, and to open doors where He wills.

Father, we bring our brother before You and ask for Your mercy and help. Give him ears to hear Your Spirit and courage to obey in small things. Grant him clarity for his obligations, strength to take the next step, and Your grace in his workplace and with everyone he must deal with. Guide him day by day in Jesus' name, amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord and we join you in seeking His grace for your need. You have spoken honestly concerning procrastination, concerning difficult people and concerning the want of wisdom, and concerning your desire to hear and obey the voice of the Holy Spirit, and we take these burdens to the throne of grace together.

We pray that the Lord who said to the impotent man, Rise, take up thy bed and walk, will speak that same word of power to you. For grace is not only the warrant for obedience but the constraint to it, and love is the mother of obedience. When He makes the heart whole, He also makes the feet willing. May He give you grace for grace, so that you do not look to yourself for strength to obey, but to Christ who works in you to will and to do of His good pleasure. Where you have felt reluctant through conscious weakness, may you draw near to Him anew and hear His voice and find sweet rest in doing His will.

We ask that the Lord will guide you by His Word and by His Spirit. Nine times out of ten the Scriptures will show you what you must not do, and thereby what you may do, and when self is dethroned and Christ is enthroned as Lord, you will be kept in a wise and right way. Where information is lacking, may He give you wisdom, knowledge and discretion, and direct your steps. Where people are stubborn or selfish, may He give you that more excellent grace which is love, that you may act not from self but from loyalty to Christ, with patience and holiness.

For your obligations and your work we pray not for an unjust partiality, but for true favor and mercy as God is pleased to grant. The eternal God is our refuge, and to Him we lift our voice in every time of need. May He give you diligence to destroy the sin of sloth and delay, to do promptly what His Word requires, and to store no excuse for sin. May He grant you acceleration in duty, not from haste or fleshly striving, but from the strengthening of His Spirit, that you may go from strength to strength and be faithful in all things committed to your hand.

We pray that what you call victory and success may be shaped by His will and for His glory, that you may be enriched spiritually and perceive that all is of divine grace, freely given and freely received. May He keep you from being lifted up, and keep you low at His feet, trusting in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and for every supply, for the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord.

May the Lord give you grace to obey, grace to persevere, grace to suffer if need be, and grace to rejoice in Christ. We commend you and all connected with your work to His abounding grace, which does much more abound than sin or weakness, and we ask that He will give you favor in the sight of those over you and around you so far as it serves His holy purpose, and above all that you may find favor with God through the blood of Jesus.

Your request has been heard and I join you in bringing it before the Lord. You have asked with honesty for help to not delay what needs to be done, for wisdom with difficult people, for guidance when you lack information, and for grace to hear and obey the voice of the Holy Spirit. That desire to obey without delay is pleasing to God.

Scripture calls us to enter the narrow way and to lay aside sloth and procrastination, and to do what is set before us with diligence and without delay. Zeal for God does not require a long time or perfect conditions, it simply requires a willing heart to step forward and trust Him to fulfill what He has called you to do. When you feel the pull to put things off because a person is stubborn or selfish, or because you do not have all the answers, remember that God gives wisdom generously when we ask Him, and He gives strength to act faithfully even in hard relationships.

I pray for you now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, have mercy on this Your servant. Grant a spirit of diligence and self discipline to set aside procrastination and to do each obligation in its proper time. Where there are difficult people, grant patience, gentleness, and wisdom to speak and act in a way that honors You. Where information is lacking, grant clarity and guidance, and open the right doors to obtain what is needed. Help this person to hear Your voice through Your Word and by Your Holy Spirit, and to obey promptly with a willing heart.

I also pray for Your grace, favor and mercy to rest upon this life, especially in the workplace. Grant goodwill in the eyes of others, not for selfish advantage, but so that honest work may be done well and Your name may be honored. Give integrity in every request and every task, and let diligence and faithfulness be seen by all. True victory and true success are found in walking faithfully with Christ, and I pray You will grant that kind of success, the fruit of obedience, peace of conscience, and usefulness in Your hands. Provide what is needed, guard from discouragement, and let all be done for Your glory. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this honestly and for asking for prayer. The struggle you describe is very common, wanting to do what is right but finding yourself held back by procrastination, by difficult people, and by not having all the information you need.

I want to encourage you first about where favor and blessing come from. We can easily think that if we make strong promises to God or try harder to be good, then God will reward us with success and preferential treatment. Scripture shows a different way. Abraham believed God and that belief was counted to him as righteousness. His obedience flowed from his faith, it did not earn his standing. God does not bless you because you have bargained with Him or because your performance has been perfect. His covenant to bless His people rests on His grace through Jesus Christ. Sinful people cannot approach a holy God on their own, but Jesus was appointed as a mediator and a priest forever to make a way. Because of Him you can come to God by faith, and that is the ground for mercy and grace, not your own works.

Hearing and obeying the voice of the Holy Spirit is also tied to the Word of God. The Word is alive and powerful and sharper than a two edged sword, able to discern what is of the soul and what is of the Spirit, and it feeds your spirit. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. If you want to know what God is saying and to grow in confidence to obey, give yourself to hearing and studying Scripture. As you know God through His Word you learn to trust Him, and the Spirit is able to guide you through that Word rather than through vague impressions alone.

You mentioned people who are stubborn and selfish and situations where you lack information. God knows hearts and He has known all His works from the beginning. He declares the end from the beginning and nothing is hidden from Him. When you do not know what to do, He does. He is gracious, merciful, patient and long suffering toward His children, and He rewards those who diligently seek Him. Those who come to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. With God nothing is impossible, and if God is for you, who can be against you. That does not mean every difficult person will become easy, but it means you can ask God for wisdom for each step, for help to act with integrity even when others are difficult, and for peace to do what is before you without making foolish charges against God when things feel slow or confusing.

God honors obedience, not presumption. Learning to yield your life to Him and to submit your will is often learned through hard and stretching places. Part of that obedience is simply doing the next faithful thing with joyfulness and gladness of heart, not with griping or complaining. True success in God's eyes is not measured only by preferential treatment from others, but by walking faithfully before Him and trusting Him with the outcome.

So I am praying for you that God will give you grace to move forward promptly on the obligations before you, that He will give you wisdom where information is lacking, and that He will give you a love for His Word so your faith is strengthened and you can discern His leading. I am asking Him to show you mercy and grace at your workplace and in every relationship connected to these duties, to help you act with diligence, kindness and truth, and to work out His good purposes in your life even through hardship. May He help you to believe not only that He can act, but to trust that He will act according to His perfect knowledge and love, and to find victory in walking by faith in Jesus.
