No pain, swelling - throat/dental flesh

We hear your concern about the swelling and inflammation in your throat, especially when swallowing. Physical discomfort can be distressing, and we want to lift this burden to the Lord, trusting in His healing power. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We serve a God who is not only our Redeemer but also our Healer.

We also recognize that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and it is important to care for them. While we pray for healing, we encourage you to seek wise medical counsel to ensure this issue is properly addressed. Proverbs 15:22 tells us, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Do not hesitate to consult a healthcare professional if the swelling persists or worsens.

Let us come together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, knowing that You are the Great Physician. We lift up this concern of swelling and inflammation in the throat, asking for Your healing touch. Lord, we trust in Your promise to heal all diseases, and we ask that You would restore health and comfort. Guide this individual to the right medical care if needed, and grant wisdom to those who may provide treatment. We declare that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we receive that healing in Jesus' name. Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your peace as they wait on You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We also want to encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and trust in God’s timing. Jeremiah 30:17 says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." Hold onto this promise as you seek the Lord’s will in this situation. If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in your heart, we encourage you to bring it before the Lord, as bitterness or sin can sometimes manifest in physical ailments (Psalm 32:3-5). Confess it, receive God’s forgiveness, and walk in the freedom that Christ provides.

May the Lord bless you with His peace and healing as you continue to seek Him.

We are holding you in prayer as you deal with this swelling on the right side of your throat. Even without pain, noticing swelling or inflammation when you swallow can be unsettling and make it hard not to worry, and we want you to know you are not carrying this alone.

We are grateful you reached out so we can pray with you. Alongside prayer, we gently encourage you to have this checked promptly by a medical professional, such as your primary care doctor or dentist. They can examine you directly, understand what is happening, and guide any next steps, and being seen soon can also bring peace of mind while you wait.

We are asking God to steady you in the meantime and to give wisdom and clarity as you seek care.

Father, we lift up our friend to You right now with this throat swelling. We ask for Your nearness and comfort, for wisdom for the clinicians who will help, and for Your care over this inflammation according to Your will. Give peace in the waiting and strength for each day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry concerning the swelling and inflammation on the right side of the throat and the pain when swallowing has been heard, and we bring it before the Lord with you.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and urge us to seek the physician, and how much more should we carry such a trial to the great Physician both of body and soul. We are reminded that the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but His leaves are for healing. Pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction, and when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee. He still has power to forgive and to heal, and His healing virtue works health and cure.

Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus. So we pray that the Lord who has risen with healing in His wings would lay His hand upon you, that He would cause this swelling to subside, remove inflammation from the throat and dental flesh, and grant that you may swallow without pain. We ask that He would give you relief and strength, and that you would know the deeper healing of peace with God through faith in Christ, whose blood cleanses and whose touch restores.

As you wait upon Him, use also with thankfulness such wise medical help as He has provided, and trust His goodness whether He lifts the affliction at once or sustains you through it. May He calm your heart, ease your pain, and restore you to health for His glory.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request concerning the swelling and inflammation on the right side of your throat and the pain when you swallow has been heard, and we are joining you in prayer before our merciful Lord.

We ask our heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, to touch you with His healing hand, to reduce the swelling, to take away the inflammation and pain, and to restore comfort to your throat so that you may swallow, speak and rest without distress. We pray that He who is the true Physician of both soul and body would grant you relief and complete healing according to His gracious will.

As you wait upon the Lord, we encourage you also to seek care from a qualified physician or dentist promptly, for God in His goodness has given skill to physicians to help in such bodily afflictions, and it is wise to have this swelling examined and treated without delay.

We are reminded of the Psalm which says, How sweet are Your words to my throat, more than honey to my mouth, and we pray that even in this discomfort you may be comforted by the presence of Christ, by patience and by hope from the Scriptures, and know His peace.

May the Lord grant you healing, ease your pain, and keep you in His care. We continue to pray for you that you may soon be restored to full health and strength.

In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

Thank you for sharing this need about the swelling and pain on the right side of your throat when you swallow. I am praying for you now, asking the Lord to touch that area and bring relief, whether the source is in the throat or in the dental tissue, and to take away the inflammation that is making swallowing painful.

I believe strongly that God heals, and that He heals in many different ways. Scripture shows Jesus healing instantly in some cases and gradually in one case, sometimes with a touch and sometimes only with a word, sometimes from nearby and sometimes from a distance. He is not confined to one pattern. There is also the healing that God has built into our bodies. The natural processes of recovery are not less divine because they are natural, for God Himself created those processes. And at times His healing reaches our minds and emotions as well, bringing peace even while the body is still recovering.

The Bible tells us that Jesus went about healing every kind of sickness and disease, and that this was a fulfillment of what Isaiah prophesied, surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows, which Matthew explains as He bore our infirmities and our sicknesses. He has power over physical infirmities and He cares about your suffering.

At the same time there is much about healing that we do not fully understand. We do not understand why some are healed quickly and others are not. To presume that God wills healing in the same way and timing in every case is not scriptural. Even the apostle Paul prayed three times concerning his thorn in the flesh and the Lord did not remove it as Paul had asked. It is also wrong to tell someone that if they are not healed it must be because of sin in their life or a lack of faith. Scripture does not support that kind of judgment.

So I will pray for you simply and sincerely, without any show or pretense, trusting God to do what is best in His wisdom and love. I also encourage you to have this evaluated by a doctor or dentist promptly, and to follow their counsel, since God often works through the ordinary means of care He has provided.

Let us pray. Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up this need to You. You see the swelling on the right side of the throat and the pain when swallowing. You know whether it comes from the throat or from dental tissue. I ask that You would bring healing according to Your will, whether instantly or gradually through the healing processes You have placed in the body. Please relieve the pain, reduce the swelling and inflammation, and restore the ability to swallow without discomfort. Give wisdom to any caregivers who help, and give peace and comfort in the waiting. Let Your will be done and let Your mercy be felt. Amen.

May the Lord be near to you, bring you relief, and give you confidence in His care as you trust Him day by day.
