We come before the Lord with gratitude for your faith and trust in His healing power, lifting up your request for complete relief from pain, inflammation, and swelling in your teeth, gums, and stomach. The Bible reminds us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We stand in agreement with you, believing that God hears and answers the prayers of His children when we call upon Him in faith.

Father God, we thank You for Your promise of healing and restoration. We ask You to touch every part of [this individual’s] mouth, teeth, gums, and surrounding flesh, with Your healing hand. Remove all pain, inflammation, and swelling, Lord. Let Your peace and comfort fill every area that has been troubled. We also pray for [their] stomach, asking that You soothe any unease or irritation, bringing complete healing and relief. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over [them] today, trusting in Your faithfulness.

We also want to encourage you to seek godly wisdom in caring for your health. Proverbs 3:7-8 says, "Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones." While we pray for supernatural healing, we also recognize that God often works through practical means, such as seeking medical or dental care. If you have not already done so, consider consulting a professional to ensure there are no underlying issues that need attention.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or affliction that may be attempting to take hold in [this individual’s] body. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, [they are] healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen [their] faith as [they] wait on You, and fill [them] with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May [they] experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

We also want to gently remind you of the importance of calling on the name of Jesus in all things. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we pray. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Him, surrendering every area of your life, including your health, to His care.

May the Lord bless you with His healing touch, renew your strength, and fill you with His joy as you walk in faith. We continue to stand with you in prayer, believing that God is working even now to bring about His perfect will in your life. Amen.

As we ask for healing, we remember that faith isn't about demanding a certain timeline or a particular outcome. It's about holding onto the God who can heal, and trusting His presence even when relief feels slow. That kind of trust doesn't minimize the pain, it anchors us when we're tempted to get discouraged.

Please don't suffer in silence. Let us and others around you know how we can support you practically, even with something as simple as a warm meal or a ride to an appointment.

We pray now: Father, we ask for Your gentle hand on every inflamed and aching place, teeth, gums, and stomach. Soothe what is raw, calm what is irritated, and bring relief. Give wisdom to the doctors and dentists who examine our friend. Most of all, let Your nearness be felt in the middle of the discomfort. In Jesus' name.

The very leaves of the tree of life are for healing, and the least touch of the Great Physician’s garment brings wholeness to aching flesh. You have cried out in the name of Jesus, and that name is the sweetest balm for every sore, the teeth, the gums, the inward parts. Remember that the Lord who forgave the palsied man first spoke peace to his soul, and then commanded him to rise and walk. Pardon and healing are twin mercies, and the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings for both body and spirit.

Seek not only the easing of these pains, but the deeper cure that makes the life-blood new. When Christ comes to dwell with a soul, the inhabitants of that house need no longer say, “I am sick,” for His grace works health through the whole man. Yet do not despise the instrumentality of prayer and the laying of your case before the mercy seat, for the Lord’s power to heal is often most manifest when His people are gathered in teaching and supplication. Go where the Gospel is plainly preached, and let faith come by hearing the Word, for the remedy flows from Calvary, not from any earthly wisdom.

Fret not overmuch at what you suffer, for these light afflictions often drive us to the arms of the Healer. He who feeds the sparrows will supply your need, and though the pain is sharp, it may be the very messenger to remind you that this body is not your eternal home. Trust that He who took Peter’s wife’s mother by the hand and lifted her up, so that she rose to minister, will also take you by the hand and raise you from this low estate. The touch of His incarnate sympathy is healing, reach out and lay hold upon Him by faith, and the virtue that goes out from Him shall quiet these swellings and calm these inward uneases. Fear not, only believe.

Your prayer names pain and swelling in the teeth and stomach, and you call upon the name of Jesus for relief. Let us consider what the blessed Paul wrote to Timothy, a man of such fasting and austerity that he suffered frequent infirmities. Paul did not bid him seek a miracle to banish the sickness, but said, "Use a little wine for thy stomach's sake." Why? Not because Paul could not heal, his own garments had raised the dead, but because the affliction was a profitable visitation. Had Timothy been instantly cured, he might have been exalted above measure. The thorn in the flesh, the weakness in the body, was a teacher of humility.

Do you see, then, what pain can be? You feel inflammation in the flesh, and your cry is for its removal. That is natural. Pain comes from our nature; it is not sin. But consider whether this very unease might be God's medicine for a far more dangerous inflammation, the fever of a soul growing arrogant, the swelling of self-reliance, the dropsy of desire. I have said that for one in disease not to obey the physician's injunctions is a more serious evil than the disease itself. Wealth and ease often forbid the Physician to come near, persuading us that our losses are gains. The body cries out, and we listen; but a soul on fire with burning fevers we ignore.

So I do not dismiss your prayer. The stomach suffers, and the teeth ache. That is real. But let your first and most urgent prayer be this: that the inward man not be given over to a worse swelling. The body's pain is a message, like the foot telling the eye of a hidden pit. It reports the truth. Use the means God provides, as Timothy used a little wine. Pray for deliverance, yes, but also bless the Hand that permits the trial. For if the vessel of clay is shattered, the treasure within remains. The body is blamed for nothing; it is the deliberate choice that defiles. Endure the discomfort as a free man, not a slave to sensation, and you will find the soul's health restored even if the flesh still groans. The ultimate end of all swelling and pain is known to God. On that day, there will be no grief. Until then, the more excellent way is not the sign of a miracle, but charity born of humility, a soul self-subdued and therefore bright, like those who seek nothing beyond sufficiency and live in continual thanksgiving. That is the health worth seeking with every breath.

Your prayer reaches the heart of our Lord, who in His earthly ministry healed every sickness and every disease among the people. He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, not only the deep wounds of sin but the very physical pains that trouble our bodies. The swelling in your gums, the unease in your stomach, these are known to Him. When the woman with the issue of blood pressed through the crowd and touched the hem of His garment, she did so with a faith that drew healing power from Him. That same touch of faith is yours as you call on the name of Jesus.

We must also hold this truth gently: healing does not always come in the way or the timing we expect. There was a man Jesus touched once, and his sight returned only gradually. There was Timothy, a faithful companion in the gospel, who suffered frequent stomach ailments. The apostle who had seen extraordinary miracles still gave him practical counsel rather than an instant word of command. This does not mean a lack of faith or love on God's part; it reminds us that we live in a world still groaning under the curse, where the body returns to dust. Some are delivered in a moment; others walk a slower path of recovery; and some, like Enoch who walked with God and was taken, are called home through affliction. We do not always understand why, and I confess I do not.

Yet your prayer is right and good. Ask boldly, as the centurion did, believing that Jesus has authority over every physical realm, including the cells of your mouth and the lining of your stomach. Seek medical wisdom where needed, for God often works through the healing processes He built into creation. And while you wait, do not let the pain isolate you. Even a child cries out for a mother's comfort when eating brings pain, and our heavenly Father hears every cry.

I am praying with you now. Lord Jesus, you calmed the winds and commanded fevers to leave. We ask you to rebuke this inflammation, this swelling, this unease. Bring your healing power to these teeth, this flesh, this stomach. We trust you for a touch that restores, whether in an instant or through the slow knitting together of what is broken. And if the relief delays, hold this one close, keep their spirit from the outer darkness of despair, and fill them with your peace that surpasses understanding. In your mighty name, amen.
