We hear the deep distress and exhaustion in your words, and we stand with you in spiritual warfare, declaring the victory of Jesus Christ over every scheme of the enemy. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." You are not fighting people, you are fighting spiritual forces of evil, and the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).
First, we must address the name by which we have access to God, Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Jesus, we have no authority to rebuke the enemy, for it is only by His blood that we are cleansed and empowered.
Now, we take authority in the name of Jesus over every demonic assignment against you, your family, your spouses, and your pets. The enemy has no right to control, manipulate, or harass you. We declare that Satan has no power over your water, your home, your mind, or your future. Jesus said in John 10:10, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." The enemy’s goal is to bring chaos, but God’s will is peace, provision, and freedom.
We rebuke every spirit of control, witchcraft, surveillance, and oppression operating through any person, including your stepfather or anyone else. The Bible warns in Galatians 5:19-21 that witchcraft is a work of the flesh, and those who practice it will not inherit the kingdom of God. If there is any involvement in occult practices, we urge repentance and breaking all ties with such darkness. Jesus has already disarmed principalities and powers, triumphing over them at the cross (Colossians 2:15).
We pray now with authority in Jesus’ name:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name. We thank You that You have given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We break every curse, assignment, and demonic strategy against [this individual] and their household. We cancel every word spoken against them in the spiritual realm and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask You to expose and dismantle every network of darkness targeting them, whether through people, technology, or spiritual forces. We declare that their home is a sanctuary of peace, protected by the blood of Jesus. We command every demonic scout, spy, and entity to flee now in Jesus’ name!
Father, lead them to a new place of safety, far from the influence of the enemy. Provide a home where they can live in harmony, free from chaos and oppression. We pray for divine favor in their move, for doors to open that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and for every logistical need to be met by Your hand.
We also pray for their family, especially their spouses, that You would strengthen their marriages according to Your design, as one man and one woman united in Christ (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:31). Guard their hearts from division, and let Your love be the foundation of their homes.
Lord, we ask that You reveal any areas where the enemy has gained a foothold, whether through unforgiveness, bitterness, or unrepentant sin, and bring healing and restoration. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
We declare that [this individual] is free, in Jesus’ name! No longer will they be bound by fear, manipulation, or spiritual harassment. They are a child of the Most High God, seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), and the enemy has no claim over them. We thank You, Father, for Your protection, provision, and peace. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen."
Now, we encourage you to walk in your authority as a believer. You are not a victim, you are a warrior in Christ. Here are some practical steps to reinforce your spiritual victory:
1. Daily Prayer and Scripture, Put on the full armor of God every day (Ephesians 6:10-18). Declare God’s Word over your life, your home, and your family. The enemy flees at the name of Jesus and the truth of Scripture.
2. Forgiveness and Repentance, If there is unforgiveness toward your stepfather or anyone else, release it. Bitterness gives the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:26-27). Also, examine your own heart, are there areas where you may have opened a door to the enemy through sin? Repent and close those doors.
3. Community and Accountability, Do not fight this battle alone. Surround yourself with strong, Bible-believing Christians who can pray with you and stand in agreement for your freedom. The enemy thrives in isolation, but God works through the body of Christ (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12).
4. Wise Discernment in Your Move, While we understand your desire to relocate, ask God for wisdom in choosing your next home. Pray for a place where you can thrive spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."
5. Reject Fear, The enemy wants you to live in fear, but God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). When anxiety comes, counter it with praise and Scripture. Psalm 91 is a powerful declaration of God’s protection, meditate on it daily.
6. Guard Your Heart and Mind, Be cautious about what you watch, listen to, and engage with. The enemy often uses media, music, and even seemingly harmless activities to subtly influence our thoughts. Philippians 4:8 says, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things."
7. Fasting (If Led), Sometimes, spiritual breakthrough requires fasting. Jesus said in Mark 9:29 that some spirits only come out by prayer and fasting. If the Holy Spirit leads you to fast, do so with a clear purpose, seeking God’s face, not just His hand.
Remember, the battle is already won. Jesus defeated Satan at the cross, and as believers, we enforce that victory in the spiritual realm. You are not running from the enemy, you are advancing with the King of Kings. The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11). Walk in that truth.
If you have not yet made Jesus the Lord of your life, we urge you to do so today. Salvation is not just about escaping hell, it’s about entering into a relationship with the living God, who loves you, died for you, and wants to give you abundant life (John 3:16, John 10:10). Pray this prayer with us if you are ready:
"Lord Jesus, I come to You now. I confess that I am a sinner in need of Your grace. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day. I repent of my sins and turn away from them. I invite You to be the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, and help me to walk in Your ways. Thank You for saving me and giving me eternal life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen."
If you prayed that prayer for the first time, we rejoice with you! The angels in heaven are celebrating (Luke 15:10). Now, find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith, be baptized, and connect with other believers. You are not alone, God is with you, and so are we.
We continue to stand with you in prayer, declaring that the enemy has no authority over you, your family, or your future. You are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Go forth in peace, in power, and in the victory that is already yours in Christ.
