Just to be clear, we're not saying there is no human responsibility in salvation, for after being struck down to the earth while on the way to Damascus, and blind for three days, and seeing a vision of a disciple (by name) come to lay hands on him, restore his sight, and Paul is filled with the Holy Spirit, Paul says, "So I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision," Acts 26:19 -- We are only maintaining what Jesus, John, Luke, Paul, James, Peter and The Bible (Moses, Job, David, Isaiah) make plainly evident -- "All have turned away, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one," Ps 14:2-3, Ps 53:2-3, Rom 3:10-11, Isaiah 53:6, Gen 6:12, etc... To SUMMARIZE -- "Without You Acting FIRST There is NOTHIN' Goin' On."

Father, Thank You Jesus said, "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws them, (NOW, Tonight -- Today is the DAY) -- and I will raise them up on the Last Day. Thank You for the honesty of The Way, The Truth and The Life, John 14:6, so we know Who to ask to do what in saving lost family and friends. You clearly say it is Your will to pray for all people, 1 Tim 2:1-2, and this pleases You for You will all to be saved and come to know The Truth, 1 Tim 2:3-4. We are as sincerely as we can requesting You specifically draw our family members to Jesus TODAY to hear, listen and understand what You are speaking, Jn 16:13. Grant faith, repentance from sin, Acts 3:19, the knowledge of salvation by the forgiveness of our sins, Lk 1:77. Jesus came into the world to SAVE SINNERS, 1 Tim 1:15, to seek and save the LOST, Lk 19:10.

Help us LEARN the elementary teachings of Christ (The FOUNDATION of REPENTANCE and FAITH toward GOD," Heb 6:1-2, and contend for the faith that was handed over once for all to the church, Jude 1:3, first preached by Christ, confirmed by His Apostles, miracles, signs, wonders and gifts of The Holy Spirit, Heb 2:3-4. Give vision — for without revelation we go unrestrained, Prov 29:18. Protect us all from sin, Ps 119:11, temptation, Lk 11:4, evil, Mt 6:13, evil people, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Thes 3:2, and the evil one, 1 Peter 5:8-9, Rev 12:9, Jn 17:15. Keep us in Your ways, Prov 4:18. We thank you for these requests and the peace that guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus Name, Phil 4:6-7, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20

We join you in affirming this precious and humbling truth that you have so clearly stated, that no one can come to Jesus unless the Father who sent Him draws them, as Jesus Himself declares in John 6:44, and we also affirm with you that man is responsible to respond and not be disobedient to the heavenly vision as Paul testifies in Acts 26:19.

We agree that Scripture makes it plain that apart from Your initiating grace there is nothing going on in our salvation, for it is written there is no one who understands, there is no one who seeks after God in Romans 3:11, all have turned away, they have together become corrupt, there is no one who does good, not even one in Psalm 14:3 and Psalm 53:3, all we like sheep have gone astray, everyone has turned to his own way in Isaiah 53:6, and all flesh had corrupted its way on the earth in Genesis 6:12. We were dead in trespasses and sins and only by Your mercy and drawing can we be made alive, and that faith and repentance themselves are gifts of Your grace, for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God in Ephesians 2:8, and God grants repentance leading to life in Acts 11:18 and repentance that leads to the knowledge of the truth in 2 Timothy 2:25. Yet You also call every person to believe and to turn, and You have appointed that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life in John 3:16, and as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God in John 1:12.

We love your prayer for lost family and friends and we make it our own, for we know this pleases You. You desire all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth in 1 Timothy 2:4, and You command us to make petitions, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings for all people in 1 Timothy 2:1. We thank You that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and no one comes to the Father except through Him in John 14:6, that He came to seek and to save that which was lost in Luke 19:10, and that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners in 1 Timothy 1:15.

Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus and we ask You to draw our loved ones today, for today is the day of salvation in 2 Corinthians 6:2. Draw them by Your Holy Spirit who convicts the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment in John 16:8 and guides into all truth in John 16:13. Open their ears to hear and their hearts to understand, grant them godly sorrow that brings repentance that leads to salvation in 2 Corinthians 7:10 and faith toward You. Grant them repentance and that their sins may be blotted out in Acts 3:19 and grant them the knowledge of salvation by the forgiveness of their sins in Luke 1:77. Help us all to go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God in Hebrews 6:1, and to earnestly contend for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints in Jude 1:3, that faith first spoken by the Lord and confirmed by those who heard Him with signs and wonders and gifts of the Holy Spirit in Hebrews 2:3-4.

We ask You to give us revelation and vision, for where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint in Proverbs 29:18, and to keep our hearts steadfast in Your ways as the path of the righteous is like the dawning light that shines more and more until the perfect day in Proverbs 4:18. Keep Your word hidden in our hearts that we might not sin against You in Psalm 119:11, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil in Matthew 6:13 and Luke 11:4. Protect us from evil people in 2 Thessalonians 3:2 and from those having a form of godliness but denying its power in 2 Timothy 3:5, keep us from the evil one who prowls around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour in 1 Peter 5:8, that ancient deceiver who deceives the whole world in Revelation 12:9, and keep us as Jesus prayed that You would keep us from the evil one in John 17:15.

We thank You that as we make our requests known to You, Your peace which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:6-7, and that all Your promises are yes in Him and amen to the glory of God in 2 Corinthians 1:20. We trust You to do what only You can do, to draw, to open, to grant life, and we trust You to enable us to respond in faith and obedience. We pray all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We hear how deeply you love your family and want them to know Jesus. That burden is a good and holy one, and we are grateful to stand with you in it.

We love how you put it so simply, that without God acting first nothing happens. It keeps us humble and hopeful at the same time. We do our part to pray, to speak, to live faithfully, and we trust Him to do what only He can do in a heart, to open eyes and give faith and repentance. Your prayers for your loved ones matter, and God delights to hear you bring them by name.

One thing that has helped others carrying this same burden is to keep it steady and specific. Continuing to pray daily by name for each family member, and asking God to give you natural moments to show and speak His love in everyday life, can keep hope alive without wearing you out. Staying rooted in His Word and in fellowship also guards your own heart while you wait.

Father, we bring these dear family members before You today. Draw each one to Jesus, open their ears to hear Your voice, and grant them faith and a turning from sin to You. Give our friend strength and peace as they love and pray and wait on Your timing. Keep them all in Your care and guide each step. In Jesus name, Amen.

Your prayer is heard and it is right and good according to Scripture, for you have set forth both the sovereign grace of God and the responsibility of man just as the Word declares them.

You are correct to confess that without the Father first drawing, there is nothing going on. The Lord Jesus Himself said, No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. We are by nature turned away, all gone aside and together become corrupt, there is none that doeth good, no not one, as it is written in the Psalms and in Romans, and as Isaiah says, all we like sheep have gone astray. We may as well expect the river to cease running to the sea as expect the natural man to turn from the current of his sin. It was mighty grace which made us seek the Savior. And yet when that grace comes, man is not without responsibility, for Paul could say, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision. When men are blessed by Jesus, they change their minds wonderfully with regard to Him.

Therefore we join you in praying as you have prayed, and we thank God that He wills us to pray for all people, for this is good and pleases God our Savior who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. We ask the Father to draw your family members and friends even today, for today is the day of salvation, that they may hear and listen and understand what the Spirit speaks. May He grant unto them repentance from sin and faith toward God, which are the foundation of the elementary teachings of Christ, and the knowledge of salvation by the forgiveness of sins. Jesus came into the world to save sinners, to seek and save the lost, and He is able to save to the uttermost those who come unto God by Him, seeing He ever lives to make intercession.

Take comfort in how simple and how sure the way of salvation is. The Lord says, Look unto Me and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth. It is not look to yourself, nor to your works, but look to Christ. If a sinner only looks to Jesus He will save him, for Jesus in the dark is as good as Jesus in the light. He that comes to Him He will in no wise cast out. Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed.

So continue to pray and continue to tell them the words of Him who came to save sinners. We will pray that the Lord keep you and yours from sin and temptation and evil and the evil one, and keep you in His ways, and give you the peace that guards hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

May the Holy Spirit graciously draw those dear to you to the open arms of Christ, that they may no longer keep afar off but run to Him and find salvation there, to the praise of His glorious grace. In the name of Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth and the Life, Amen.
