No one call me back about important application/husband/car/son

Beloved of All
Jesus please let the person that I need to approve my application call or write me back, and please let my husband stop wasting money and not he isn't even fully paying the bills, yet he is making more money than ever. Please let whatever he is doing stop and let him go back to being reliable and sensible and paying the bills. Please also let him stop being so mean and difficult and not ever available to talk. Let him realize how mean and incredibly unreasonable he is being. I cannot handle this anymore. Please also don't let anything be wrong with our car, it was acting up the other day and there was an oil problem. Please let that have been a one-time thing. Please let my son stop staying up so late, it is completely out of control. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We hear the weight of your heart in this prayer, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting each of these burdens to the Lord. You are carrying so much, financial strain, marital strife, concerns for your vehicle, and the well-being of your son, and we want you to know that God sees every detail. He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let’s bring each of these concerns before Him together, trusting that He is able to work all things for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

First, we pray for your application. The silence from those you’re waiting to hear from can feel deafening, but we declare that the Lord is your provider and your advocate. "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5). We ask that God would open the right doors for you, that the person reviewing your application would be moved by the Holy Spirit to respond promptly and favorably. Let no delay or oversight stand in the way of His provision for you and your family. Father, we ask that You would grant wisdom to those in authority and align their hearts with Your will. May they see the urgency and importance of this matter and act in a way that reflects Your faithfulness.

Next, we must address the struggles in your marriage with both truth and compassion. Scripture is clear that marriage is a covenant, a sacred bond where husband and wife are called to love, honor, and submit to one another out of reverence for Christ (Ephesians 5:21-33). The financial irresponsibility, meanness, and emotional unavailability you describe are not the fruits of a godly marriage. We rebuke the spirit of selfishness and pride that has taken root in this situation. "For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing" (James 3:16). We pray that your husband’s eyes would be opened to the harm he is causing, not just to you, but to the entire family. May the Holy Spirit convict his heart deeply and lead him to repentance. We declare that God is able to restore what has been broken and to soften even the hardest of hearts. "Create in him a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within him" (Psalm 51:10).

We also lift up the financial strain you’re experiencing. It is not God’s will for His children to live in lack or for one spouse to bear the burden of provision alone. "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We pray that your husband would be released from whatever is holding him back from stewarding his resources wisely. Whether it is addiction, poor judgment, or simply a lack of discipline, we ask that God would break every chain and restore order to your finances. May he be reminded of his responsibility as the head of the household to provide and protect, not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually as well. We declare that every bill will be paid, every need met, and that God’s peace will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

For your car, we pray that the Lord would be your mechanic and your provider. "The young lions do lack and suffer hunger, but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing" (Psalm 34:10). We ask that God would intervene and prevent any major issues from arising. If there is a problem, we pray that He would lead you to trustworthy and affordable help. May He go before you and make the crooked places straight (Isaiah 45:2). We also declare that God will provide for all your transportation needs, whether through this car or another means, according to His perfect timing.

For your son, we pray for discipline and wisdom. Late nights can lead to a host of other issues, and we know you want what is best for him. "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6). We ask that God would give you the strength and wisdom to set boundaries and enforce them with love. May your son come to understand the importance of rest, responsibility, and honoring his parents. We pray that he would develop godly habits and that his heart would be drawn closer to the Lord.

Finally, we want to encourage you to seek godly counsel and support. The burdens you’re carrying are too heavy to bear alone. "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2). Whether it’s through a trusted pastor, a Christian counselor, or a small group of believers, we pray that God would surround you with people who can speak truth into your life, pray with you, and help you navigate these challenges. You do not have to face this alone.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this sister in Christ who is carrying so much. Lord, You see every detail of her life, the financial strain, the marital struggles, the concerns for her car and her son. We ask that You would move mightily on her behalf. Open the doors she is waiting on, soften her husband’s heart, and restore order to their finances. Break every chain of irresponsibility, meanness, and emotional distance. Father, we declare that You are the God who restores, who heals, and who provides. We ask that You would intervene in each of these situations and bring peace where there is chaos, provision where there is lack, and restoration where there is brokenness.

Lord, we pray for this marriage. Where there is hardness of heart, bring conviction and repentance. Where there is selfishness, bring humility and love. Where there is distance, bring reconciliation and intimacy. Remind both of them of the vows they made before You and give them the strength to honor them. Father, we ask that You would protect this family from the enemy’s schemes and that You would draw each of them closer to You.

For the car, we ask that You would be their provider and their protector. Keep it running smoothly and safely, and if there is a need, provide the resources to fix it without undue hardship.

For their son, we pray for wisdom and discipline. Give this mother the strength to guide him with love and firmness, and draw his heart to You.

Father, we ask that You would surround this sister with godly community. Give her the courage to seek help and the wisdom to know where to turn. Remind her that she is not alone and that You are always with her.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to You and in His name alone that we are saved. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. We trust in You and declare that You are working all things together for good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We just read your request and wanted you to sit with you in these heavy moments. When so much piles up at once, an unanswered application, tension at home, a concerning car noise, and a son whose sleep seems completely off course, it’s easy to feel like everything is spinning out of control. You said you cannot handle this anymore, and we hear that. It’s not weakness to admit when the weight is too much; it’s honest, and God draws near to the honest cry.

Rather than trying to fix it all at once, perhaps pick one concern today and simply hand it to God every time it surfaces, then do the same with the next tomorrow. You’re already doing the most important thing: bringing each real, gritty detail to Jesus. He knows the person whose call you’re waiting for; He sees your husband’s spending and hard heart; He knows the car and your son’s late-night habits. Nothing is too small or too tangled for Him to care about.

We are praying with you, right now.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this sister who is worn thin. For the application that feels stuck, we ask You to move the right person to respond, and give her patience in the waiting. For her husband, we ask You to turn his heart back toward responsibility, kindness, and protecting his home instead of wasting money. Bring conviction where it’s needed and soften what has grown harsh. For their marriage, we pray for relief and glimmers of hope. For the car, we ask that the oil issue truly was a one-time thing and that it runs reliably. For her son, give her wisdom and a calm, steady approach as she guides him toward healthier rhythms, and work in his heart to choose rest. Most of all, hold her close. Remind her she is not alone, even when it feels like no one is calling back. Surround her with Your peace that doesn’t depend on circumstances, and give her enough strength for today. In Your name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry has reached the ear of the Lord, and your many cares are not hidden from Him. Yet consider, dear soul, whether these very troubles are not the stirring of your nest by the hand of a loving Father. You thought your nest was soft, your husband, your son, your car, your application, but He has sent these things to teach you where your true rest lies. Is not the Lord your Husband, faithful and true, even when an earthly companion fails? He has said, “I was a husband unto them,” and His provision never wavers, though a mortal man wastes his wages and withholds kindness. Let the meanness of another drive you deeper into His tender care; He will not break covenant, nor forget the love He has sworn to you.

As for the car, a passing trouble; it may be a one-time thing, but even if it returns, it is but a small stone in the boot, meant to make you limp toward Christ. And your son’s late hours: pray for him, yet remember that while we ask for natural sleep, there is a far weightier call. The Lord gives His beloved sleep, the sweet slumber of the body and the blessed rest of the grave. Yet He also bids us wake to righteousness, lest we slumber while the sparks of judgment fly. Intercede for the boy, but let this anxiety remind you that our truest rest is found not in an early bedtime, but in a soul safely sleeping in Jesus.

That application you await, do not be in a hurry. The Lord has timed the absence of the answer as surely as He draws the curtain of darkness each night. He who give His beloved sleep will not be tardy in His provision. The delay is discipline, that you may know He is the opener of doors, and none can shut them. He is husband, provider, and keeper of the car and the child. Cast all upon Him, and reckon that His rod, though sharp, is set to give you rest from the days of adversity until the pit is dug for the wicked. Grip this promise hard: “Jehovah will not cast off His people.” Your sorrow tonight is a part of that heavenly discipline by which you shall be saved. Wait, watch, and be sober. The Lord is with you; be not afraid.

You pour out your heart with many cares, an application unanswered, a husband wasteful and harsh, a car faltering, a son keeping late hours. Yet consider: the Lord permits these trials not to crush you, but to lift your soul above earthly things. When the one you depend on acts with fury, do not meet him with anger of your own. That only makes you a child alongside him. The one who is longsuffering towers over insult like a man over a child striking in passion; laugh in your mind at the folly, not to provoke, but to keep your own peace. Let his unreliableness with money teach you that poverty, if you are wise, is a feast. What is lost of silver only lightens the load you carry to heaven. The whole earth, the sky, the public places, all remain for your use and delight when you hold them with a right mind.

The car that troubles you and the application that hangs in doubt are things seen and passing. A soul fixed on its Father does not clutch at such things, but groans for the redemption of the body, waiting for the city to come. Abraham did not cling to his son, but offered him up, counting that God was able to restore him; so you, if you entrust your son’s schedule to the Lord, will find him kept in greater safety. Vexation over his late hours profits nothing; patient instruction, with the gentleness of Abraham’s own works, speaks louder than strife.

Do not imagine that your present hardship means God has forgotten. The saints of old, Abel, Noah, and all the righteous, wait still for their full reward, and they wait until you and all the brethren are perfected. Why then mourn as if you alone suffer? See the festival hidden in your want, the wisdom in your distress, and let your prayer be not only for relief, but for a heart that seeks the giver above the gifts.

I hear the weight you are carrying right now. When so many things press in at once, an unreturned call about an application, a husband who is acting irresponsible and harsh, a car that may be failing, and a son whose nightly habits are out of control, it is easy to feel completely spent. The truth is, God often allows circumstances to crowd us right into the arms of Jesus. There is a kind of desperation that strips away our self-reliance and pushes us toward the only One who can actually help. That is not a cruel trick; it is a mercy.

You mentioned you cannot handle this anymore. That is exactly the place where faith takes hold. Remember the woman who had spent everything on doctors and only grew worse. She knew that if she could just touch the hem of Jesus’s garment, she would be healed. And when she did, His first word to her was “Daughter.” All she had was a trembling grasp, but He met her with tenderness, power, and peace. That same Jesus hears you now. He is not put off by the mess or the emotion; He responds to honest, clinging faith.

Your frustration with your husband is real. The waste, the meanness, the unreliability, it all hurts. But grasping for control or fighting fire with fire rarely brings lasting change. I have seen lives devastated because someone made a split-second, foolish decision out of impatience, thinking they could force a breakthrough, only to suffer consequences for a lifetime. Wait on the Lord in this. Keep praying that his heart would turn, and remember that God sees how we handle money and resources. He notices every gift cast into the treasury, but He also sees every bit of squandering. Nothing is hidden from Him. The transformation you long to see in your husband may come quietly, the way a seed pushes up through the soil while the farmer sleeps and rises, not understanding how. Day by day, God can work a change you cannot manufacture. You do not need to follow at a distance in anger or find warmth at the enemy’s fire; stay close to Jesus yourself and let Him fight this battle.

As for the car and the application, they are not too small for His care. Remember the disciples in the boat when the storm hit. They panicked while Jesus lay asleep on a cushion. He was not disturbed by the wind and the waves, and He is not disturbed by your oil light or a silent phone. He can speak calm into these things with a word. Entrust them to Him and then let your heart rest.

Your son’s late nights are not out of God’s reach either. You plant good seed, you set boundaries, and then you sleep and rise, night after night. The growth happens in ways you cannot track. Ask for wisdom, set what limits you can, and then release the outcome to the Father who loves him more than you do.

But with all these burdens, please do not neglect your own soul’s refreshment. When we are spiritually exhausted, the temptation is to think a little extra sleep or a full escape will fix it. Yet we see Jesus, after long days of pouring out, rising a great while before dawn to a solitary place to pray. True renewal does not come from checking out; it comes from meeting with the Father in the quiet, bringing your list, shedding your tears, and letting His presence restore you. That is where strength is renewed, not by hiding under the covers.

Let all these needs drive you to Him. He does not require a perfectly worded prayer or an unshakable disposition. Just come and lay it all down, again and again. He calls you daughter, and He is able to make you whole in every part of your life that feels broken.
