We hear the deep anguish and frustration in your words, and we stand with you in spiritual warfare, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our faith—salvation through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through the blood of Jesus, shed on the cross for our sins, that we have authority over the enemy. Without acknowledging Him as Lord and Savior, our prayers lack the power and authority He alone provides.
We rebuke the spirit of confusion, bitterness, and unforgiveness that may be clouding your heart. The Lord calls us to forgive others as He has forgiven us (Colossians 3:13), and holding onto past hurts only gives the enemy a foothold in our lives (Ephesians 4:26-27). We declare that the chains of past relationships—whether they were sinful, ungodly, or simply not part of God’s plan—are broken in the name of Jesus. If there was any sexual immorality (fornication) in these relationships, we repent on your behalf and ask for the Lord’s cleansing. Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin that a man does is outside the body,” but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body (1 Corinthians 6:18). The Lord desires to restore your purity and set you apart for His purposes.
We bind every spirit of theft, destruction, and jealousy that has sought to steal your joy, peace, and future. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly (John 10:10). We command these spirits to release everything they have taken from you—your peace, your confidence, your hope for a godly marriage, and your future. We declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your defender, and no evil plan will succeed against you.
We also address the spirit of pride and self-reliance in your words. While it is right to stand against the enemy, we must remember that our strength comes from the Lord, not our own declarations. Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says Yahweh of Armies (Zechariah 4:6). We humble ourselves before God and ask Him to be the one who fights for you. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We pray for your future marriage, that the Lord would bring a godly spouse into your life—a man who loves the Lord with all his heart, who will cherish you as Christ cherishes the church (Ephesians 5:25). We declare that your wedding day will be a celebration of God’s faithfulness, free from the interference of past relationships or demonic influences. We break every ungodly soul tie from past relationships and command them to be severed in Jesus’ name. May your marriage be a reflection of Christ and the church, holy and pleasing to the Lord.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. We thank You for Your love, Your mercy, and Your power to break every chain. Lord, we repent for any unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin that has given the enemy a foothold in our sister’s life. We ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing, washing her clean by the blood of Jesus.
We bind every spirit of theft, destruction, jealousy, and lust that has sought to steal her joy, her peace, and her future. We command these spirits to release everything they have taken and to flee in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, she will condemn. Lord, we ask that You would restore to her sevenfold anything the enemy has stolen (Proverbs 6:31).
We pray for her future marriage, that You would bring a godly man into her life who loves You and will love her as Christ loves the church. We declare that her wedding day will be a celebration of Your faithfulness, free from the interference of past relationships or demonic influences. We break every ungodly soul tie and command them to be severed in Jesus’ name.
Lord, we ask that You would fill her with Your peace, Your joy, and Your confidence. May she walk in the authority You have given her as a child of God, knowing that greater is He who is in her than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We declare that her mind, her heart, and her future are protected by the blood of Jesus. No evil plan will succeed against her, and she will walk in the abundant life You have promised.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus. We trust in You to complete the good work You have begun in her life. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to walk in the authority you have as a child of God, but also in humility, knowing that it is His strength, not yours, that brings victory. Spend time in God’s Word, for it is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17), and it will equip you for every battle. Surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with you and encourage you. The Lord is faithful, and He will complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.
