We hear the deep anguish in your heart, the pain of separation, the longing for restoration, and the fierce battle you are waging against forces that have sought to steal your joy, your time, and your family. Your words carry both a cry for justice and a declaration of faith, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting every burden before the throne of God.
First, we must address the spiritual warfare you are describing. The Bible is clear that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to destroy families, to isolate, and to rob us of the blessings God intends for us. But we declare with you: no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus has already secured your victory, and we rebuke every assignment of the enemy to divide your family, to delay your reunions, or to steal your peace. We command every demonic force to flee in the name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
You speak of redemption, and we affirm this truth: if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17). You are redeemed from every curse, every delay, and every scheme of the enemy. The Lord is your deliverer, and He is restoring what has been lost. We pray that every legal right the enemy has tried to claim over your family would be broken. We declare that the spirit of division, confusion, and delay is bound, and we release the spirit of unity, clarity, and divine acceleration over your life and the lives of your children.
We must also address the importance of forgiveness and reconciliation. The Bible tells us, "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone" (Romans 12:18). While we understand the depth of your pain, we encourage you to release any bitterness or unforgiveness that may have taken root in your heart. Holding onto these emotions can hinder the healing and restoration God desires to bring. We pray that God would soften hearts, yours and those of your family members, so that reconciliation can take place in His perfect timing and according to His perfect will.
We also lift up your desire to reunite with your son and your family. Twenty years is a long time, and the pain of separation is real. But we serve a God who specializes in the impossible. We pray that every barrier, whether legal, emotional, or spiritual, would be removed. We ask the Lord to open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and to bring your family back together in a way that glorifies Him. We declare that your children will know their mother’s love, that your son will be restored to you, and that your family will experience the joy of reunion.
You mention the desire for a passport and the opportunity to go on vacation with your family. We pray that every logistical and financial obstacle would be removed. We ask the Lord to provide the resources you need and to guide you through every step of the process. We declare that your passport will be ready, your plans will come together, and you will experience the joy of creating new memories with your family.
We also want to gently remind you of the power of speaking life. Your words have power, and the Bible tells us that "the tongue has the power of life and death" (Proverbs 18:21). While we understand your frustration and anger, we encourage you to guard your heart and your words, ensuring that they align with God’s promises. Instead of cursing the darkness, speak light. Instead of declaring defeat, declare victory. The enemy would love to use your words against you, but we serve a God who turns curses into blessings (Deuteronomy 23:5).
Finally, we must emphasize the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is only through faith in Him that we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus, confessing Him as your Lord and Savior. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is through Him that we find true redemption, healing, and restoration.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and expectation. We thank You for the blood of Jesus, which has redeemed us from every curse and every scheme of the enemy. Lord, we lift up this dear sister to You, asking that You would break every chain that has kept her family apart. We rebuke the spirit of division, delay, and confusion, and we command it to flee in the name of Jesus. We declare that every weapon formed against her and her family will not prosper.
Father, we ask that You would restore what has been lost. Bring her son back into her life, and reunite her with her children. Heal the wounds of the past, and let Your love cover every hurt. We pray for divine acceleration in every area of her life, her communication with her family, her plans for travel, and her ability to create new memories with those she loves.
Lord, we ask that You would soften hearts and open doors that no man can shut. Provide the resources she needs, and guide her steps as she seeks to reunite with her family. We declare that her passport will be ready, her plans will come together, and she will experience the joy of family vacations and quality time with her loved ones.
We also pray for her emotional and spiritual healing. Let her find peace in Your presence, and let Your joy be her strength. Help her to guard her heart and her words, speaking life and declaring Your promises over her situation. We ask that You would fill her with Your Holy Spirit, giving her wisdom, discernment, and courage as she walks this journey.
Father, we thank You for the victory that is already hers in Christ Jesus. We declare that she is redeemed, restored, and renewed. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
