No More Laziness


Dear Lord,

We don’t want to be idle in our marriage, relying on the other person to always initiate or do things we don’t feel like doing. We want to be a couple who respects each other and acknowledges the demanding work that has to be done to maintain our relationship and our home. Lord, when we feel offended by the other person’s laziness, will You help us to calmly communicate how it makes us feel, encouraging one another to step up and contribute? Holy Spirit, strengthen our resolve to resist being slothful. Thank You, God, for being our source of energy and strength! Heavenly Father, we ask You to instill in both of us a desire and resilience to be diligent servants in our marriage, in our jobs, and in our home.
