We hear the deep pain, exhaustion and feeling of being oppressed and targeted in your request and we stand with you together before the Lord seeking His protection, truth and peace in Jesus' name.

We understand you feel a heavy evil on your head, neck and back and that you feel chased as by lions in the spiritual realm. Scripture tells us this spiritual battle is real, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. The enemy is described as a roaring lion, walking around, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8, but we also have the promise that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17 and that the Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul Psalm 121:7.

We also hear your anguish toward your stepfather and the desire for assignments against you to end and for truth to be revealed. We must gently rebuke and correct some things you have spoken that do not align with God's will. You spoke of cutting off his head, of him being Satan, of not wanting to cry when he passes away and of him being judged according to evil done to you. The Lord calls us to a different way. You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself Leviticus 19:18. Jesus said love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. We are told not to return evil for evil, or insult for insult, but instead blessing Romans 12:17 and that vengeance belongs to the Lord, I will repay Romans 12:19. We are to be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:32. Even when someone is rude or cruel or withholds kindness as you felt when he did not bring food or Starbucks, God calls us to overcome evil with good Romans 12:21 and to forgive as we have been forgiven Matthew 6:14-15. We encourage you to release this bitterness and desire for harm toward your stepfather to the Lord and to ask Him to help you forgive and to bring truth and healing to that relationship.

We also want to address the fear of word curses from Satan, the government and others over you, your mother, your three children and your pets. The tongue does have power, death and life are in the power of the tongue Proverbs 18:21, and we should not let cursing and blessing come from the same mouth James 3:10, but we also rest in this promise, like a fluttering sparrow, like a darting swallow, so the undeserved curse doesn't come to rest Proverbs 26:2. When we are in Christ, no curse spoken by others can override the blessing and covering of God. The fear of man and of earthly powers can be great, but we are told to not be afraid, for God is sovereign over all authorities Romans 13:1 and we can pray for them instead of fearing them, trusting that the truth will make you free John 8:32.

You have declared you are not lame, you have fame, you are not indecisive but decisive. We affirm that your identity is not in what others have spoken over you but in Christ. God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. The Lord wants to give you a sound mind and peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.

You also shared feeling blocked from happiness, health and provision your entire life and desiring a safe home for you and your two cats and restoration. We understand that longing. The Lord sees you and is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18. He promises to supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and that He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1. We pray for His restoration over your life, for He says I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten Joel 2:25. True favor and riches are not measured only by money or by others saying you are poor while they are rich, but by godliness with contentment is great gain 1 Timothy 6:6 and by knowing He will never leave you nor forsake you Hebrews 13:5. The Lord's favor surrounds the righteous as with a shield Psalm 5:12.

We notice you closed with the blood of Jesus and we rejoice that you know the power of His name, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and it is only through Jesus we have access to the Father John 14:6.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and by His blood shed for us. We ask You to lift every heavy oppression, every evil assignment and every burden from our sister's head, neck, back and entire life. We ask You to break every undeserved curse and evil word spoken against her, her mother, her three children and her pets, and let it fall to the ground powerless, for You are our refuge and fortress. We ask You to silence the roaring lion that seeks to chase and torment her and to give her Your perfect peace and sound mind, that she may find happiness and rest in You without fear. Lord, reveal truth where there is confusion about who is harming her and let Your justice and mercy prevail, but help her to release vengeance to You and to forgive her stepfather as You have forgiven us. Soften his heart and hers, and bring healing where there has been cruelty and rudeness. Provide for her urgently a safe, peaceful and stable home for her and her cats where she can dwell in Your secret place. Restore what has been stolen and blocked all these years, heal her body and spirit, and let Your favor rest upon her life. Make her decisive and strong in You, rooted in Your love. We declare life and blessing over her in Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry has come before the Lord and before His people, and we have heard the heaviness that has pressed upon your head and neck, and the fear of evil words and spiritual oppression, and the wound you have felt from your stepfather and from many other sorrows that have followed you through life.

We want to point you away from yourself and away from every dark power that seems to hunt you, and point you to Christ, for there is a voice that comes from the excellent Glory concerning those who feel themselves ready to go down to the Pit, saying, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance if God had not thought of it, and He has not only invented the way but He has found the ransom Himself in the blood of His dear Son. Look out of yourself and look to Christ, not to feelings or fears or the words of men, but to what Christ has done, for He has shut up transgression, sealed up sin and covered iniquity, and has made a clean sweep of sin of every kind for all who trust Him. He has blotted it out and removed it as far as the east is from the west, so that it cannot come forth to accuse the justified.

The Scripture says, He has delivered us from the power of darkness. That power shows itself both in cruel bondage and in concealment, making the way seem hidden and the night very dark, but deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it. What you suffer is not outside His overruling hand. It is hopeful to remember that all our ills lie within the fence of Omnipotent overruling, and that which comes to us passes through the hand of a Father who chastens for our profit. This does not make the smart less sharp, but it makes it purposeful, and it keeps us from thinking we are left to chance or to the mere will of men or of Satan.

Therefore we pray for you now, and for your mother and your three children and even for your pets whom you love, that the Lord would set His healing hand upon your head and neck and take away every oppression and every evil word spoken against you, and that He would snap the bands that have bound you and set you free indeed. We ask that the Lord Jesus, whose least word bears healing as the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, would give you rest and a safe home where you and your cats may dwell in peace, and that He would provide for you in secret and in mercy what you need urgently. We pray for your stepfather, that the truth may be brought to light and that justice and mercy may both be satisfied according to righteousness, and that bitterness may not take root in your heart, but that you may be kept from hating and be given grace to live and to declare the works of the Lord. For the believer is able to say, The Lord has chastened me sorely, but He has not given me over unto death, I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord.

May the Lord grant you to know today that you are delivered from going down to the Pit because a ransom has been found, and may you be kept safely till you come home to Him, rejoicing not in your own fame or favor but in His favor which endures for a lifetime, through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whose blood is our only plea.

Your cry has been heard and we have brought your burden before the Lord with prayer and compassion. We understand you feel weighed down, as if evil is pressed upon your head and neck, and that you have been hurt deeply by words and by the actions of your stepfather, and you long to be free, decisive, healthy, and at peace in a safe home with your children and your cats.

We pray for you in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through His blood that we have redemption and access to God. Scripture teaches that Christ has borne the curse for us, becoming a curse for us by hanging on the tree, so that those who trust in Him are delivered from the curse of sin and death. Therefore we do not need to live under spoken curses or fear that words from others can hold power over us when we are hidden in Christ. The Lord is the giver of every good gift, who stretches out the heavens and provides for our life, and He is able to guard your mind and body and soul.

We ask God to lift from you the sense of heaviness and oppression you describe, to quiet the fear of being chased in the spiritual realm, and to fill you with His peace that guards the heart. We ask Him to turn your tongue from speaking curses or death over yourself or others, and to teach you to speak life, truth, and blessing as one who has put on Christ. Where there has been anger, rudeness, and cruelty in your home, we ask the Lord to bring truth to light, to soften hearts, and to give you wisdom and protection. We pray for your stepfather, that God would work in his heart and lead him away from harshness, and that you would be given grace to not be overcome by bitterness but to entrust all judgment to God, who judges justly and with mercy.

Your hurt and exhaustion come through very clearly in what you shared, and I want you to know you have been heard. Feeling a heavy weight on your head and neck, feeling chased and blocked from happiness and health for a long time, feeling targeted by spiritual evil and by people close to you, especially your stepfather, is a very painful place to live. It makes sense that you are longing for life, for peace, for decisiveness and joy, and for a safe home for yourself and those you love, including your children and your pets.

Scripture helps us understand what blessings and curses mean in God's eyes. When God gave His covenant to Israel, He had some of the tribes stand on one mountain to declare the blessings and others on the opposite mountain to declare the curses, and the people in the valley answered Amen to show they understood the seriousness of the covenant. The message was conditional and clear. If they would listen carefully to the voice of the Lord and keep His commandments, blessing would overtake them. If they turned their hearts away from Him to serve other gods, hardship and curses would follow. The warning included that a heart turned away could become like a root bearing bitter and poisonous fruit, spreading trouble to others, and that continued turning away would bring being scattered and oppressed, even by a distant nation with a harsh face. There are many more verses describing the curses than the blessings, because God's people were more prone to disobey than to obey, and Moses warned them again and again not to add to or take away from God's word or to rationalize it away.

That covenant was given to Israel concerning the land, but it reveals a lasting principle. God is the source of life and blessing, and turning from Him leads to brokenness. At the same time, the fear that other people, or any human power, can put a lasting curse on you simply by speaking evil words is not what Scripture teaches. No government, no family member, and no spiritual enemy has the final power to curse those who belong to God. The Bible says that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, and that when we belong to Jesus, we are under His covering and His blessing. Evil words spoken against you do not have to define you or control your future. What matters most is staying close to the Lord, listening to His voice, and walking in His ways.

I also hear how deeply your stepfather's actions have wounded you, and how the disappointment over something like not being included when food was bought has come to feel like proof of a larger pattern of cruelty. It is right to want truth to come to light and to want to be treated with kindness and favor. God does see every wrong done to you, and He is the just judge. Scripture tells us to leave vengeance in His hands and not to carry the burden of wishing harm or death upon another person, even one who has hurt us deeply. That desire, while understandable when you feel you have been wronged your whole life, will only keep your own heart in torment. God calls us to want truth and justice, but also to release the judgment to Him, to pray for our own hearts to be free from bitterness, and to seek healthy boundaries where we can.

You asked for happiness without being chased, for freedom from evil, and for a safe home. Those are good things to bring to the Father. He knows your need for stability and restoration, and He cares about your mother, your children, and your pets. He also wants to restore you inwardly, to give you a sound mind, a decisive spirit, and an identity that is not built on fame in the eyes of others but on being His child, loved and valued through the blood of Jesus.

Let me pray for you. Father in heaven, I lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus. Thank You that Your blood covers and protects, and that no weapon formed against Your child will ultimately prevail. I ask You to lift the sense of heaviness and oppression, to break every chain of fear and every lie that says she is cursed or forgotten. Help her to hear Your voice clearly and to walk in obedience to Your word without adding to it or taking from it. Heal the wounds caused by family, and give wisdom for boundaries and for next steps. Provide a safe and peaceful home where she and her loved ones can live securely. Restore what has been broken, give joy that is not chased away, and let her know her worth and future are in You. Guard her heart from bitterness, and help her to trust You as the righteous judge who sees all and will do what is right. Fill her with Your peace and strength today. Amen.
