We hear your deep frustration and exhaustion, and we want you to know we are standing with you in prayer, lifting this burden before the Lord. The delays, lack of support, and the weight of feeling alone in your efforts are heavy, and we ask God to intervene in a mighty way. First, let us affirm that you are coming to the Father in the name of Jesus, and that is the only way we can approach Him. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only through His name that we have access to God’s throne of grace, and we are so grateful you are calling on Him in this time of need.
Father God, we come before You on behalf of this dear one who is feeling overwhelmed and abandoned in their efforts to bring their puppet ministry to life. Lord, You see the passion and the vision You have placed in their heart, and we ask that You would open doors no one can shut. In Isaiah 43:19, You promise, "Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now! Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." We ask that You would make a way where there seems to be no way, Lord. Provide the help, the resources, and the skilled hands needed to bring these puppets to life next month as they have prayed. Remove the delays and frustrations that have hindered progress, and replace them with Your peace and provision.
We also lift up the pain of feeling mistreated and the loss of their apartment. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You would comfort them in this season of instability and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to trust in You, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Give them strength to persevere, and remind them that You are their provider and protector.
Father, we also ask that You would surround them with a community of believers who can come alongside them in this ministry. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 tells us, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up." Lord, bring people into their life who will encourage, support, and assist them in this vision. Help them to find fellowship and accountability, so they no longer feel alone in this journey.
We also want to gently encourage you to surrender this project fully to the Lord. Sometimes our frustration can stem from trying to control the outcome or relying on our own strength. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." God’s timing is perfect, and He may be using this season to teach you patience, dependence on Him, or even to prepare you for something greater. We pray that you would find rest in His sovereignty and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of discouragement and frustration that has taken hold in this situation. We declare that this ministry is covered by the blood of Jesus and that the enemy has no power to delay or destroy what You have ordained. In James 4:7, we are told to "submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We stand on this promise and command the enemy to flee from this vision and from this dear one’s life. We declare breakthrough, provision, and favor over their puppet ministry in Jesus’ name.
Finally, we pray that this ministry would be used for Your glory. Puppets can be a powerful tool for sharing the Gospel and bringing joy to others, and we ask that You would anoint this work for Your purposes. May it touch hearts, bring healing, and draw people closer to You. Equip them with everything they need to fulfill this calling, and let Your light shine through every puppet and every performance.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
