No Means For Rent, Possible Eviction Or Legal Issues

It would be great if anyone could keep me and my roommates in their prayers. One of my 2 roommates has not received financial aid and has no means of paying his portion of the rent. It's a pressing issue and has been weighing on me heavily. It has been hard to have confidence that God will provide when I don't know what His plan is regarding this burden.

Last week a heard a pastor's sermon (about how Joshua and his army continued to have confident hope that God would come through despite how the unpleasant process of marching around Jericho was) and it really hit me. Two days later, I heard another pastor speak on Jonah. After submitting to God, Jonah asked to be thrown into a raging tempest! I know he had run from God up until that point, but what confidence he had to actually have once he got to that point! I mean, the other men didn't want to throw him overboard because anyone would have drowned. But in both circumstances, Scripture speaks of God's faithfulness. He provided for them when they relied on Him. I'm trying to do the same. If I can get additional support through prayer, that would be awesome. Scripture tells of God answering His peoples' cries (even if in unexpected ways) and I believe that He will hear my honest plea for Him to have His hand in this situation. Thanks for listening.

Father I bring the lives of these young men before you. You said you would provide all of our needs according to your riches in glory. I pray that you would grant favor in their lives. I pray that no weapon formed against them would prosper. I pray that each of them would grow in grace. As they seek you father and your will for their lives. I pray a hedge of protection around each of them. I pray that you would would've their steps and establish their thoughts. In Jesus name I pray Amen.

Let’s Pray….God I ask in Jesus’ name let my life glorify You in all I say and do. Open the doors of spiritual growth, love, joy, peace, understanding, wisdom, education, job opportunities, great favor, excellent health, strength, prosperity, protection, and a long life. Thank You Lord Jesus for opening every door that You want open in my life. Lord Jesus please close the doors of disobedience and rebellion to Your Holy Word that may be open in my life. May I come to know You, Love You, and Obey You with all my mind, body, heart, and soul.

Close the doors of failure, despair, discouragement, fear, sickness, poverty, premature death, and every spirit that is not of You Lord Jesus that is or will try to operate in my life. Close every door in my life that You have not open and that You don’t want open. And God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of this prayer. Amen.
