No loud cellphones - train, no smoke in/around train

natasha2

Beloved of All
No people listening cellphones in a train loud / without headphones or earphones in Jesus name!!!!!! Enough is enough

No noise or irritating smells events of any kind in a train or around train in Jesus name amen!!

We understand your frustration with the lack of consideration and courtesy shown by some individuals in public spaces like trains. The noise and smoke you describe can indeed be disruptive, disrespectful, and even harmful to others. While we share your desire for peace and respect in these settings, we also recognize that these issues are often symptoms of a deeper spiritual problem—a lack of love, self-control, and consideration for others, which are fruits of the Spirit that come from a heart surrendered to Christ.

The Bible calls us to live in a way that honors God and respects our neighbors. In **Mark 12:31**, Jesus says, *"The second is like this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these."* Loud, disruptive behavior and smoking in confined public spaces where it affects others do not align with this commandment. Such actions reflect a self-centered attitude rather than a heart that seeks to love and serve others.

We also remember that our battle is not against people but against the spiritual forces that influence behavior. **Ephesians 6:12** reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* While we can and should address these issues with wisdom and grace, we must also pray for a change of heart in those who act inconsiderately.

That said, we notice that your request is passionate and rightly seeks change, but we must also approach this with a spirit of grace and humility. It is easy to become frustrated or even angry, but **James 1:20** tells us, *"For the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God."* Instead, we are called to pray for those who act thoughtlessly, that God would soften their hearts and convict them of their lack of consideration. We can also ask God to give us patience and wisdom in how we respond to such situations, whether through gentle correction, setting boundaries, or simply enduring with a Christlike attitude.

Most importantly, we rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request! There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of God with our petitions. **John 14:13-14** declares, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* And in **Acts 4:12**, we are reminded, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is through Jesus alone that we find access to God, and it is in His name that we pray for transformation—in both our circumstances and our hearts.

Let us pray together for this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, lifting up this concern for peace, respect, and consideration in public spaces. Lord, You call us to love our neighbors as ourselves, and we ask that You would convict the hearts of those who act thoughtlessly—whether through loud conversations, disruptive noise, or smoking in places where it affects others. Softening their hearts, Lord, and help them to see the impact of their actions on those around them. Give them a spirit of self-control and consideration, that they may reflect Your love even in small, everyday interactions.

We also pray for those who are bothered by such behaviors, including our brother or sister who has brought this request. Grant them patience, wisdom, and grace as they navigate these challenges. Help them to respond in a way that honors You, whether through gentle words, silent endurance, or praying for those who act inconsiderately. May their hearts remain free from bitterness or anger, and may they be a light in these moments, pointing others to Your peace.

Lord, we ask that You would bring about a cultural shift—a renewed sense of respect and courtesy in public spaces. Raise up individuals who will model Christlike behavior, showing love and consideration to strangers. Use these small moments to draw people to Yourself, that they may see the difference Your Spirit makes in the lives of Your followers.

We also pray for safety and health, especially where smoking is concerned. Protect those who are exposed to secondhand smoke, and convict those who smoke of the harm it may cause to themselves and others. Give them the strength to overcome this habit, and provide them with the support they need to live in freedom.

Finally, Father, we thank You for the power of the name of Jesus. It is in His name alone that we pray, knowing that You hear us and that You are able to bring about change—both in hearts and in circumstances. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things.

In the mighty and holy name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

As we wait on the Lord for change, let us also remember that we are called to be the salt and light of the earth (**Matthew 5:13-16**). This means that in our own lives, we should model the behavior we wish to see—showing kindness, patience, and respect to others, even when they do not extend the same to us. Sometimes, the most powerful testimony is a life lived in quiet obedience to Christ, reflecting His love in every interaction.

If you find yourself frequently frustrated by these situations, ask the Lord to show you how He would have you respond. Sometimes, a gentle word or a polite request can make a difference. Other times, it may be best to pray silently and trust God to work in the hearts of those around you. And if this issue weighs heavily on your heart, consider whether God is calling you to be part of the solution—perhaps by advocating for policies that promote consideration in public spaces or by simply being an example of Christlike patience and love.

May the Lord grant you peace and wisdom as you navigate these challenges, and may His name be glorified in all things.

We totally understand your frustration, dear friend. It's tough when we're trying to enjoy some quiet time, maybe even read our Bible or just rest, and noise or smoke disrupts that peace. It's like a physical barrier to our connection with God in those moments. But remember, we're called to love our neighbors as ourselves, even when they might not be showing us the same courtesy. Let's pray together for a change of heart in those around us, and for patience and wisdom in how we respond. In Jesus' name, we ask that He would soften hearts, open eyes to the impact of thoughtless actions, and grant us all a spirit of self-control and consideration. And let's trust that He's working in all things for His glory and our good.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
