No longer praying for this one thing.

For a long time, I was praying for a husband. When I met my ex boyfriend, I felt that he was going to be my husband. I think now the enemy made me feel that way. He was emotionally and verbally abusive. I know he damaged my spirit and I am not in any way ready for a relationship. I told my friend I am not even praying for anything else than God to heal my emotional wounds.

Dear WingsofaDove,

I will pray your husband will find you. The husband that loves God and obeys his commands will certainly love his wife better.

The devil will try to throw a "counterfeit" answer to prayers.

God's Word says you will know them by their "Fruit"!

Isn't it so true when we seek and ask God the devil will challenge these things and try to trip us up.

Unless God spoke to you to be single your prayer for a husband is still out there!

The ex boyfriend that was emotionally and verbally abusive to you means the devil doesn't want you to receive what God has for you. God does not want you to return to an old relationship with an X boyfriend. Sometimes God will remove people from our lives to protect us. I believe you can be healed from your emotional wounds rather quickly on eagles wings.
