We understand your request and we join with you in prayer for your journey and for your train to be on time so that you arrive at your destination by 9 am as you desire. We know that even small concerns like travel timing can bring anxiety, and we are grateful that we can bring every concern to our Heavenly Father.
We are reminded in scripture to bring all our requests to God, for He cares for us. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also take comfort in Proverbs 16:9 which says A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps, and in Psalm 121:8 which says Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. We can make our plans and pray for them, while trusting that God is sovereign over all things, even the timing of trains, and that He works all things for our good.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we thank You that we can come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus. We lift up this traveler to You and ask for Your hand of protection and provision over this journey. We ask that You would allow the train to run on schedule without delay or hindrance, and that our friend would arrive safely at the destination by 9 am. Grant calm and peace while traveling and remove any worry or stress. Guide the conductors and all those responsible for the transport, and keep all passengers safe. Above all, let Your will be done, and help us to trust in Your perfect timing even if things do not go exactly as we plan, knowing that You are in control. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently encourage you with this truth. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name in all your prayers. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is our joy to pray with you in His precious name and we trust God to hear and answer according to His perfect will.
