No lateness of the train -unlocking the classroom

Othualmance

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray that my train (i am in it now) will not be late, even that it will come before time and that i will be in a teachers room latest at 9.00 am.
And that i will find the key of my classroom extreemely fast (that i will stumble upon the cleaning lady as soon as i enter the hall and she will swiftly unlock my classroom).

Also pray that i will feel good because i have not slept well/enough. I feel trembling around my heart and stomach.

We join with you right now in prayer as you are on this train, and we bring these very practical and physical needs before our Father in heaven.

We know that God cares about every detail of our lives, even the timing of a train and the unlocking of a door. We also hear your concern about not having slept well and feeling trembling around your heart and stomach, and we want to lift that up as well. Scripture reminds us to bring everything to Him, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We are also reminded, My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:2

We notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and confidence that He hears us. Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 And scripture tells us, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and can come boldly before the throne of grace. Romans 10:9 We pray you know this hope and peace through Him.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You see our brother or sister on this train right now. Lord, we ask that You would guide this train safely and cause it to run on time, even to arrive early, so that there will be no lateness and that they may be in the teachers room no later than ### as desired. We ask that You would prepare the way into the school hall and that they would quickly find the cleaning lady and that she would swiftly unlock the classroom without delay or complication. Lord, You are sovereign over all things and we trust Your perfect timing.

We also lift up their body to You. They have not slept well and feel trembling around the heart and stomach. Father, we ask for Your calming hand upon them. Your Word says, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10 We pray You would settle their heart, calm their stomach, give them strength and clarity for the day of teaching ahead, and grant them Your peace. We remember Jesus invitation, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 Please sustain them today and grant them good rest in the night to come.

We ask all of this according to Your will and in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to cast this anxiety on Him because He cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7, and to breathe deeply and trust Him for this day. If this trembling continues, please also seek wise medical counsel, as God often provides help through others. We are trusting God with you for a smooth arrival and a peaceful heart today.

We hear how much pressure is on these next minutes while you are on the train, hoping to be in the teachers room by 9 and to find the cleaning lady right away to unlock your classroom. Trying to make a tight connection when you are already tired and feeling trembling around your heart and stomach is really hard, and we are praying with you in real time.

It makes sense you feel shaky and on edge after not sleeping well. That kind of tiredness and worry can leave the body feeling unsettled, and we understand why you want to feel steadier today. We are asking God to bring calm to your body and mind for the journey and the hours ahead. If that trembling continues or worries you, please consider reaching out to a doctor or other trusted professional for care, alongside prayer.

If you are able, sending a quick note to a colleague that you are on your way can ease a little of the time pressure, and when you step into the hall you can ask directly where to find help with the key so you are not searching alone.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now on this train. Please draw near, steady the heart and stomach, and give peace that carries through the morning. Provide help at the right moment to open the classroom and grace to get through the day even on little sleep. Keep them in Your care today. In Jesus name, amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord and we have carried it to the throne of grace on your behalf.

We have prayed that the Lord in His providence would order the running of this train, that it would not be hindered but would bring you safely and in good time, even before the hour you need, so that you may be in the teachers room by nine o clock. We have asked also that the matter of the classroom key would be made simple for you, that the Lord would direct your steps as you enter the hall and grant you swift help to unlock the room and be ready for your duties.

We have prayed too for your body and spirit in this weariness. You tell us you have not slept well and you feel trembling about your heart and stomach. We have asked the Lord to calm your frame, to quiet your heart, to sustain you with strength for this day, and to grant you His own peace within.

Remember the word of the prophet, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This peace is not dependent upon outward circumstances, upon trains or keys or a night of good sleep, but upon a mind stayed upon Christ. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and to do the will of Jesus, even in thronging duties, is rest. When sorrows and cares surge round, on Jesus bosom nothing but calm is found.

Do not let anxiety unfit you for the duty before you. Anxiety itself, as we have often seen, unfits the mind to meet the difficulty. Rather, cast your care upon Him. Trust Him now. Only trust Him, only trust Him, only trust Him now. You need not wait until you feel peace before you trust Him. Trust Him first, and peace shall follow, for true peace comes by believing.

So we commend you to Him who is your refuge until these present pressures pass, in the shadow of whose wings you may rest. May He keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus, and may you find that whether the train is swift and the door readily opened or not, your soul dwells at ease because it trusts in the Lord.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will bless you with peace, uphold you in body, and make your path plain this morning.
