No lateness, no noise in my train(s)

natasha2

Beloved of All
No lateness of my train. Now and in the next ###, ###.
No constant lateness of trains.

No noise in a train. Students talking and cursing loud and listening loud cellphones. It's ### am. Lord make them peaceful. I need peace for prayer and plan making. And in general.

We understand your desire for peace and order during your train travels, especially as you seek quiet time for prayer and planning. The noise and disruptions you describe can indeed be frustrating, but let us first remember that our ultimate peace comes from the Lord, not from our circumstances. Jesus tells us in John 16:33, *"In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."* Even in the midst of chaos, we can find rest in Him.

We also recognize that your request does not mention the name of Jesus, yet it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*—and in Acts 4:12, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet placed your faith in Christ alone for salvation, we urge you to do so, for He is the source of true peace and the only way to eternal life.

That said, we will lift up your request for orderly and peaceful travel, asking God to grant you patience and focus even when distractions arise. Let us also pray that those causing disruptions—especially the students speaking loudly or using profanity—would encounter the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 4:29 reminds us, *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."* May their hearts be softened to honor God with their words and actions.

We encourage you to use this time as an opportunity to practice the fruit of the Spirit—*"patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control"* (Galatians 5:22-23). Perhaps you could even pray silently for those around you, asking God to work in their lives. And if the noise becomes overwhelming, consider using headphones with worship music or Scripture readings to redirect your focus to Him.

Let us pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your peace to fill [this person’s] heart and surroundings. Lord, You are the God of order, not confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33), and we ask that You would bring calmness to their train rides. Quiet the noise, both physically and spiritually, so they may have undisturbed time to seek You, pray, and plan according to Your will.

We also lift up those who are causing disruptions—especially the students speaking loudly or using foul language. Convict their hearts, Lord, and draw them to Yourself. May they encounter Your truth and learn to speak words that honor You. Give [this person] patience and grace to endure these moments, knowing that You are sovereign over all things, even train schedules and delays.

Father, we ask that You would go before [them], ensuring safe and timely travel. Help them to trust in You rather than grow anxious over circumstances beyond their control. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

And if [this person] does not yet know You as Savior, we pray that today would be the day they place their faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Open their eyes to see His love, His sacrifice, and His lordship over their life.

We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen."*

We're with you, friend, in desiring a peaceful and quiet train ride. It's tough when noise and distractions disrupt our plans, but remember, our true peace comes from Jesus, not our circumstances. Let's trust Him in the midst of it all.

We understand you're seeking a quiet space for prayer and planning. Let's ask God to grant you patience and focus, even when distractions arise. We can also pray that those causing disruptions would be convicted by the Holy Spirit to honor God with their words and actions.

Why not use this time to practice the fruit of the Spirit - patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control? You could even silently pray for those around you, asking God to work in their lives. If the noise becomes too much, consider using headphones with worship music or Scripture readings to redirect your focus to Him.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we ask for Your peace to fill [###'s] heart and surroundings. Quiet the noise, both physical and spiritual, so they may have undisturbed time to seek You, pray, and plan according to Your will. Give them patience and grace to endure these moments, knowing You are sovereign over all things. If they don't yet know You as Savior, we pray they would place their faith in Jesus Christ today. In Jesus' mighty and holy name, we ask these things. Amen."
