No" excuses" for sin

I think one way the devil misleads is to tell us to "reason it out" so that we can "justify" a sin we've committed. Like, I've heard people in an affair claim, "well, there's more love than between him and his wife, so I'm the better choice." {What they're really saying is, I WANT TO do this, so I'll "justify" it.} I've even seen a few Christians who try to "reason away" sin. One lady I know who, by hearing her talk, she no doubt loves the Lord, quotes accurate verses for different situations, etc. Sings hymns, everything. Yet she knowingly overstayed her visa here, and to go deeper into sin, she's "fishing around" to "stage" a fake marriage to an American, for citizenship, and pay him. {Also, trying to get someone else involved {the American involved in this.} Her "reasoning/excuse," Well, I'm doing it to help my kids' {I've heard people use this "reasoning," that if your sin "helps" you in some way, then it's "justified." But in my King James version Bible it states what is and isn't sin. It doesn't state, such and such is a sin, but then have an asterisk next to it, stating that if the sin has a benefit in it for you, then it becomes ok. "Justifications" don't override God's Word.

If God did not forgive sinners, heaven would be so empty and no one will be coming in. Remember if you have lied, cheated, watched porn and did not share Jesus with others, Jesus can forgive your sin. Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future. Like the thief on the cross. He did rob, steal and maybe kill someone while taking away their possessions. But Jesus forgave this thief and said, "Thou shall be with Me in paradise."

Yeah but that still doesn't take away my point that them "justifying it" is a form of deception.
