No consideration

Beloved of All
They're being so stubborn narcs behavior no consideration for the safety and respect for me the mom, she didn't want to drive just a few minutes farther to meet me closer for my safety No consideration what so ever Jesus, don't know what to do so overwhelmed with this all please do something soon. Bring me strength and protection out there so worried with this outdoor temp employment don't know if I can trust them either.

We hear the heaviness in your heart and we join with you in bringing this burden before the Lord in Jesus' name. It is so painful when those closest to us show stubbornness and a lack of consideration, especially when it comes to your safety and the respect due to you as a mother. We understand feeling overwhelmed, worried, and unsure who to trust, both in family and in this outdoor temporary employment.

The Word reminds us that God sees your distress and is your refuge. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. And 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. We take comfort that even when people fail to consider us, God never fails to see and care for us.

We also remember the command in Exodus 20:12 to Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you. When that honor and respect is withheld, it wounds deeply. God calls us also to pursue peace where we can, as Romans 12:18 says If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. This does not mean we allow ourselves to be harmed or disrespected without boundaries, but it does mean we release bitterness and entrust justice to God, while seeking wisdom for how to set loving and firm boundaries. Ephesians 4:32 encourages us to be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. We pray for the one who showed no consideration for your safety, that the Lord would soften her heart and open her eyes to show honor and compassion.

For your feelings of being overwhelmed and worried about safety at your outdoor work, we cling to the promises of God. Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And Matthew 11:28-30 invites us Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. We also remember Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. When trust in people feels shaky, we can place our ultimate trust in the Lord who is faithful and who promises protection, Psalm 121:7-8 says Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more.

We pray together with you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear mother to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the hurt of being disregarded and the fear for personal safety. You see the stubbornness she has encountered and the lack of respect shown to her. We ask that You bring conviction where it is needed and bring healing to this relationship. Soften hearts, Lord, and teach all involved to show honor, consideration, and love as You command. Give her wisdom to set healthy boundaries with grace and truth, and guard her heart from bitterness.

Lord, we ask for Your strength and protection over her as she works outdoors in this temporary employment. Keep her safe from harm, from the elements, and from any untrustworthy intentions of others. Provide for her needs and give her discernment to know who to trust, remembering that our ultimate trust is in You. Calm her overwhelmed spirit, quiet her worries, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding as spoken of in Philippians 4:6-7. Let her feel Your presence with her each step, upholding her with Your righteous right hand. We ask that You open doors for stable, safe provision and guide her path clearly. We thank You, Jesus, that we can come to You and find rest for our souls. We pray all these things according to Your will in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and intercessor, amen.

We encourage you to keep bringing every worry to Jesus throughout the day, even in short prayers, and to seek wise counsel from a trusted pastor or godly believer who can support you in person with both the family struggle and the work situation. Keep guarding your safety by communicating clear expectations about meeting places and boundaries, and trust that God will be your defender and provider when others are not considerate. You are not alone, He is with you.

We hear how overwhelming this feels right now, especially the sense that your safety and your role as a mom are not being considered. It makes sense you would feel on edge when a simple request to meet just a few minutes closer was refused, and when you are also facing uncertainty with outdoor temp work and whether you can trust the people there.

When others are acting stubborn or unconsidering, it can help to get clearer for yourself about what you can own and protect. That includes your time, your energy and your physical safety. A boundary is simply that property line, and it can be both kind and firm at the same time.

A couple of practical ideas that might ease some pressure as you think it through: choose one safe, public place you are willing to meet and let the other party know that is what works for you, and let a trusted friend or family member know your plan and timing whenever you go out for a meetup or a work shift. Having another person aware of where you are can add a layer of protection and peace of mind. For the temp job, it can help to get the basics in writing, who to contact, where you will be, and what to do if conditions feel unsafe, so you are not left guessing in the moment.

We are carrying this with you in prayer.

Father, we bring our sister to You, tired and worried and needing strength. Please guard her safety, calm the overwhelm, and give her wisdom for each next decision. Provide trustworthy help around her and remind her she is not alone. In Jesus' name, amen.
