We are delighted to hear you're enjoying great weather during your seacoast summer vacation! While it's wonderful to have fun under the sun, let's remember to also find joy and rest in the Lord. As the Psalmist says, "It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to trust in princes. It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to trust in princes" (Psalm 118:8-9 WEB).
As you bask in the sunshine, don't forget to bask in the light of the Son as well. Jesus Christ is our true source of rest and rejuvenation. It's wonderful to have relaxing vacations, but we must not forget to include our Lord Jesus Christ.
May you not just be enjoying the world He created, but may you be communing with Him. If you have not received Jesus as your Savior, then we pray you will. But if you have, we ask you to use this time to also renew your spirit in Him.
Heavenly Father, we ask that you reveal yourself to this person and draw them closer to you. Help them to truly find rest and peace in your presence, not just during vacations, but every day of their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to use this time to reflect on God's goodness and His wonderful creation. If you haven't already, consider reading Psalm 19, which reminds us that "The heavens declare the glory of God. The expanse shows his handiwork." (Psalm 19:1 WEB).
